Its a store that tells you that an item costs $200 when it actually retails for $20, and then they sell it to you for $40 and you think youve become a master of bargaining. Occasionally, you leave with $20 of Wal-Mart valued merchandise for $5, but dont be fooled. Wal-Mart is still a better place to shop... And thats nothing to be proud of...I gave it 2 stars merely because its a brilliant marketing scheme...

Stage is a great place to shop, their employees are always willing to help you anyway they can . Stage has great sales and discounts for all. I would recommend all of you to give it a try. Jan

The prices are reasonable. You can find pretty much everything you need in clothes. They have bedding, towels, bath rugs, jewelry, cologne/perfume for men and women, small appliances (electric fryer,, keurig coffee machine etc), accessories. They have limited selection of formal wear.

I visited store in opelousas. I live in Lafayette but our two stores in Lafayette are both in the closing stage. This cashier was very nice and patient and professional. Her name is Mary. I will be back to the Oplousas store because I just love good service.

Wasnt sure what was sale price (40%off) or regular price as things were marked with a regular tag....and there wasnt any staff around in different areas to ask but merchandise was well organized and orderly

I have shopped at Stage for many years and they have the best salespeople.

I had a terrible experience at this location with management during Christmas Holiday season 2015. It took 2 ineffective and additional trips to this location and several phone calls with managers to get my banking card credited for a cash register malfunction. Upper management would do this location and customers a great service by providing consumers with a No Hassle Policy for returns as well as extra training for the current management. I was asked to provide a receipt for a single transaction, but was charged twice. A receipt should not be the answer to this problem, showing a banking statement should be sufficient. When the refund was complete, no one from management called and advised me that they had corrected their mistake, I just happened to notice while reviewing my account.

The store appearance was great, the layout was great, but I did find the employees not so great. Only one person smiled and this was an older lady as I was leaving who didnt even wait on me. Every person in the departments and at the register look like they were in a bad mood......

Never had a problem with customer service always a great place to shop.

You have a store full of employees standing around and 2 registers open! Its not surprising theyre barely any customers inside. No wonder this town is going downhill fast.

All management is a joke. Cosmetics dont know anything and they stand around gossiping about everyone. The sales you think youre getting are actually last seasons or even last years junk with the price jacked up, then a sale price stamped on it. Lmao. Go to Dillards!

I like most Stage stores because their employees are eager to help and are knowledgeable of inventory and they usually tell us about certain coupons we can get off line and get the discount. If in market for an item Stage offers normally go there before making a purchase

Waited for an hour at cosmetics department. Employees walked by, back and forth. Never offered assistance. Store is dirty and smells bad. Employees laughing and talking bad, about customers. The employees in cosmetics department need training and/ or firing!

They are a very nice store with a variety of top quality brand merchandise, just a little disappointed that they didnt have one of sizes I needed to make my shopping experience complete. I will come back and shop again.

It’s Christmas Eve and there are two registers open. I’ve been in line 30 minutes and moved about 3 feet. There are at least 5 employees standing around doing nothing because they don’t have registers. Stage decided to remove all of the department registers. I’m going to be in this line for hours

On the December 17, 2015 my mother went to this wreck of a store and the computer shut down in the middle of her transaction as a result when she left the store she noticed she had been charged twice. The manager Ms. Betty took an hour to basically tell my mother to come back to the store another day. I have called twice trying to see the status of the refund and both times spoke with the assistant manager Janice who told me the first time that she was unable to assist me with this issue. The second time I told her I was told I needed to speak to Betty or Joseph about it but she claimed she could handle it. During the entire conversation she rudely interrupted me and had the nastiest demeanor that I have ever encountered from a so called manager. She proceeded to hang up on me after I asked her to quit interrupting me. This Stage has the worst display of customer service and Janice has no class and needs to find another career field immediately.
