They have had my son’s mini bike since just before Christmas. They were supposed to be fixing the gas line and putting in a new key switch/start system. Since they’ve had the bike, they have called us one time (in February) with an update and never again. Me and my husband call every two weeks and ever time we call they say oh call on this day or call back on that day or the guy who knows more is off. They NEVER call us back and all we get is the run around when we call them. All we wanted was for our son to have a decent Christmas gift and since Solano came highly recommended we decided to give them a try. We knew it was going to be some time, but we didn’t think it was going to be 4 months. The time would not be so bad (because we are very patient people) if they would have at least given us a bi-weekly updated or actually returns our calls. My husband has wanted to get the bike back months ago, but because I really wanted our son to have the mini bike I convinced my husband to let them continue to try, but I’m now convinced that they just want us to say keep the bike and then we’ll see someone riding down the road on the bike they are not fixing. All we ever wanted was for our son to have a working mini bike and better communication.

Fair warning to any would be buyers of any product from Solano Cycles of Orange Park or any of their other locations! They sell lemons and trash products and than do nothing but ignore you when you ask them to repair one of their broken UTVs, Still Under Warranty! Bought a Brand new Trailmaster UTV on June 3, it broke within 2 weeks! Wont start and sagging to one side. Solano Cycles wont honor nor return calls to help. I spent 8k and all I have is this piece of trash taking space in my garage. DO NOT BUY FROM SOLANO CYCLES!

Ive been looking scooter for 4 or 5 years. I saw the reviews for the Royal Alloy GT150 and feel in love with the retro looks and metal body. Was happy to find out Solano Cycle of Orange Park had them in stock. Cindy at the store was very helpful and not pushy, knowedgeable and friendly. Very happy with shop, entire staff and scooter, I highly recommend them!

I Recently purchased a used scooter and brought it to Jeff for a look over and tuneup. This was my first time dealing with Solano and I was extremely pleased. Jeff was very pleasant to talk with and he took the time to discuss scooters with me (this was the first one I bought). Cindy was a pleasure to talk with as well. The whole experience was very positive and I would recommend them for their work, politeness and professionalism. When I go to buy another scooter, there is no doubt that I would go to Solano of Orange Park because of this experience.

Just worked with Solano Cycle in purchasing a Lynx rx8 for my son. Worked directly with Martin, Cindy, Jason, and Jeff. All of these individuals were extremely professional, attentive, and understanding/accommodating! I was truly impressed that Martin even showed the honesty to let me know that the Chinese bike I was considering was a good bike, however does not match up in quality level of some of the other higher level bikes available, such as Kymco,, which also are an entirely different price bracket. Cindy was active in getting back to me with answers and working with me to get the color/style that we wanted. Jason, in the tech department, went way over expectations in obtaining technical information that online I was not able to get, for example the diameter of the motor output shaft, and the number of teeth on the front sprocket.... etc.... and Jeff was very professional in working the actual sale process over the phone on the day of purchase. Will the bike have issues at some point? Of course it will, ALL mechanical items fail and need maintenance, and as Martin put it, I was purchasing a beginner level bike, so expect more maintenance type of issues...I feel as though I know very clearly what I was getting and had the option to purchase higher level bike if I wanted, but I did NOT feel pushed to in any way!! I am very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend Solano Cycle, in Orange Park to another person! Thanks team !! :)

We are extremely dissatisfied with this dealership. We purchased a side by side in March 2020. In May it would no longer stay running after starting it up. We started calling on May 21st and was told it was probably the carb. and that he would get one ordered and sent out to us as we live out of state and my husband was a transmission man and could handle putting it on. We called a total of 12 times and was lied to over and over. We were told by Cindy when we purchased it that it only takes them one day to get parts in. As we continued to call and spoke with everyone that works there (we were told 4 people work there and we even spoke with owner), it was made clear that they did not order it. Then they supposedly ordered it again and when we called, they were still unpacking boxes and we were promised a call back. We never once, after all those calls got a phone call back. We disputed the charge with the credit card company feeling like perhaps that would spark them to call back. Two weeks after doing that, we finally received a call, Steve was on the line and his comment was, What can I do for you? Really? He was the first person we talked to back in May. When my husband responded with, Hey, you finally called me back, Steve hung up on him. My husband called back and Martin answered the phone. He told my husband that Steve told him that my husband didnt want to talk to him anymore and that my husband was the one that hung up. The way this company operates is very disappointing. When you spend $3500 on something it should run longer than two months and the company assured us at purchase that warranty work is easily accomplished. We had offered to bring it back down to them in June and was told that they didnt have a carb, so dont bring it. However, when we went by, there was the exact same buggy sitting out front, which I assume has a carb in it. Martin informed my husband that they keep spare carbs on the shelf and that nobody knew anything about our problem. Lies, Lies, and more Lies. We will be returning this buggy to this dealership and will NEVER do business with them again.

I have to say that I made the perfect choice for the type of scooter I purchased. I never was pushed or persuaded into buying a certain model or type of CC class either. The inside of Solano Cycle in Orange Park had an awesome display of bikes but room to look around & easily find the one you want. I personally chose the Kymco Super 8. Its fast, easy to maneuver & gets great gas mileage. At first I had a bad battery after a couple of days. The owner Elayne just sad for me to bring it in & it would be taken care of. The mechanics there are top of the line and gave some tips for safety. The Super 8 is truly a durable & dependable bike. I will be back to purchase the 200 once the one I have is paid off. They could not find the part I needed for my scooter and the woman in the parts department had track marks and could not stay still long enough to even look for the part. I found what I needed online on my own while she was still asking me for the name of the part. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!

Just had my first experience here and it was--an awkward but--good one. The sales associate might have been new but the staff seems very helpful and nice. Theyre moving to bigger location very soon a couple of buildings down so be sure youre in the right place! Lots of options for scooters and only a very few bikes but I was pleased with my purchase.

I got my son a little dirt bike from this location. In the lady up front was very nice to us. Im very ignorant when it comes to dirt bikes, And brought it back 2 or 3 times since Christmas so they can show me what Im doing wrong. Every time shes been very nice and Taking the time to show me what we are doing wrong.

If you are looking for a fun time in St Aug, - the scooter rentals are perfect. I have rented here many times before, and always bring new people in with me. Everyone has a blast every time.The only issue I’ve had is someone in my group was having a bit of trouble understanding how to ride, and the employee working with him was somewhat condescending and yelled a lot. Out of the 10 or so times I’ve rented here, that’s on the only issue I’ve ever had.I recommend going around 5 and renting overnight and riding for a few hours when the sun is setting. The roads are less busy afterwards which really lets you have fun.It’s a little bit more expensive than the place across the street, but I have had a much better experience at Solano cycle.

We bought a Kymco Like 50 for our daughter to use at U of F. The staff at the Orange Park location was extremely pleasant and answered all our questions. They were patient with my daughter while she decided which model and helmet fit her needs. The pricing was great, and unlike big name dealers (like Honda) that we looked at, their out-the-door costs are very reasonable. I will also add that their maintenance cost schedule is reasonably priced too. It is refreshing to conduct business with people that are upfront and honest. I highly recommend them.

We are new to Jacksonville and have visited multiple scooter shops but never felt as though we were comfortable with the information or the sales rep. I go to these guys for tune-ups and the occasional repairs after buying a scooter from them.First, they have a great variety of vehicles on display of different makes and models, with various CCs depending on what speed your comfortable with. They can also pull from the inventory of their other stores if they have something elsewhere that you want.However, my 5-star review is based on my maintenance visits. When going in for tune-ups, they can take my scooter and usually be done in about 30 minutes. Ive found their prices to be quite fair, which has been great when Ive done embarrassing damage to my vehicle. Theyve also been nice enough not to judge the taped-up turn-signal that is still functioning.Ive found them to be really respectful, and they will explain what work they need to do and how much they expect it to cost before you decide what to do. Ive never once had to pay higher than their estimates.

My boyfriend purchased a pretty expensive side-by-side from this establishment in July of 2016. For the past theee months we have had repeated problems with it. For example the starter is already broken. We tried to explain to the owner the situation and how unhappy we were with the purchase, but no matter what he insisted that we were going to pay for them to fix it even though they sold it to us brand new. I would recommend that no one ever even step foot in that place.

Fat lady doing the financing is a total witch and is rude. Walked out. Never do business with these people. They have cheap Chinese dirt bikes that take 3-4 weeks to get parts in. Save yourself the hassle and buy somewhere else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I bought 3 for wheelers and a side by side from them. Upon delivery all were damaged I was guaranteed repairs that was in November 2017. After months of battling and arguing they came in May picked them up as at this point all the rust that was on their from delivery and I do have pictures time stamped had gotten worse. The company decides to just spray paint over the damaged areas and the rust disnt fix starting issues or transmission issues. Upon 2nd delivery I refused delivery due to spray paint all over them, a broken headlight, missing parts. The driver wouldnt leave I told him leave or leave with cops. The owner called cops said his driver was in fear but the driver told the cops he wasnt and the truth. So they sent me a company letter said all my stuff would be left outside in their junk pile til I take them. I hired a lawyer they refuse to answer the demand letter so this week my lawyer is going to a full blown lawsuit. Every review I do they try to lie but anyone of you want to contact me Ill share all pictures, text messages, and the letter he sent threatening me. I have all evidence. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Bought a helmet and had my rear tire re-seated. Helmet was damaged (but cant really complain since it was on sale) and re-seating took bounce out of my tire. Only problem is when they replaced the valve stem core they stripped the inside threads of the valve stem, now rear wont hold air. This is a major negative since my scooter is my only transportation to work and I had to call out today. Customer service gets a plus, but this is not a good thing.

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had with a company. The service is awful, they like to give you the run around and waste your time and money. When we first got the bike with them, we enjoyed the company. Not even two months later the bike gave out, the bike was a brand new 2016 kymco, and they wanted us to pay the amount the bike cost to fix it. We had recommended the company to a friend when we first got our bike, which later we regretted because they had the same problem we did. When we refused to allow them to fix it, after it took them TWO MONTHS of having the bike in their shop to even tell us what was wrong with it and we were calling or going up there every couple days to figure it out, they kept parts to the bike and tried telling us they didnt know what we were talking about when we asked for the parts back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS COMPANY. Dont waste your time or money with them.

I bought a Tao Tao Paladine 150 through there layaway plan and it was a great experience. every time I went in to make a payment I had new questions, which they answered every time. They give a brief demo of the bike and show a few tips to make your first ride a great one. I will definatly give my future scooter and atv business to Solano Cycle again. I went to the Orange Park Store. Thanks to everyone there for all the tips and help.

On time work great customer service

This is the first time to write a review. But I am really angry at their service. They fixed my husbands scooter for 3 or 4 times and non of them were right. After they worked, his scooter was always broken. The last time my husband asked them to fix it, they kept it for over 1 month without explanation. My husband called to ask them whats going on. They had to order a part. I understand that. But I think they should have told us about that. We were waiting for the scooter so long, so my husband called them again on Friday. They said it is definitely over on Tuesday. We went to the store on Tuesday opening time because he had to work. They came at 10;00 am and got ready to open the store. And they had not even finished the scooter. We had to wait for about 1 hour. After its done, a man had a test driveing at their parking only 30 second. My husband did same thing. After that, I drove a car to home, my husband rode the scooter to work, but the scooter was broken before he gets work. Can you imagine a scooter is broken in the middle of the road? They can kill their customer by their service. My father-in-law had to stop working to rescue my husband. Solano cycle is far from our house. To go to the store is not free. My husband could not work at that day. And this is not the first time. I really dont trust them. I dont think they can fix it right and they are not the professional at all. My mother-in-law was also upset and called and told them why. They just excused. What they did was just broke his scooter. I really want to know the reason. I want the money back. I wish they pay us back.

I bought an Icebear Maddog from the Orange Park location and my scooter has not worked properly since day 1. The first thing to break was the blinkers. I had to come back from Jacksonville to Orange Park FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES to get the blinkers to finally work for more than half a day. After these guys fix your scooter it breaks down on the way home almost every time. If not directly after you leave than days after. It never stays fixed for long. So the next thing to go out was the starter. After that the brake lights and turn signals yet again. They had it working for about a month (hard to believe it lasted that long) and then the starter goes out again. So now they have to come back to my house for the second time since the last time the starter was out and bring it back for repairs again. I have had this scooter for around 6 months and it has been nothing but a huge pain in my ***. The customer service is fine, they are polite enough to keep you from flipping out over your frustration. But the quality of their work is piss poor. They must hire new mechanics every week because every time I have to see these people they have a new mechanic. I assume they get fired a lot for this very reason, the incompetence of this shop is unbelievable. I have never in my life had so much trouble with a BRAND NEW vehicle. They will tell you upfront that you will need to come back in for maintenance, because they know the bike will not last for long. This bike got me fired for missing work twice in a month. I had a $12 an hour job, best Ive ever had in my 26 years and failed to keep it because I cant rely on these people to keep my only transportation in working condition. I miss two days within one month and was fired upon my return at the end of the day! Do you know how ******* mad I am about this? Im unemployed now because of Solano Cycles. The way I see it I paid them $2,000 so I could remove a piece of metal trash from their parking lot. I cannot exchange the bike, I cannot get a refund. My warranty only lasts for a year and Im halfway through the warranty and still am going through these problems. What happens if I keep this bike and my warranty runs up? Will they cover me past my warranty? Im going to sell this thing once it gets running again and I will never ever ever ever ever ever recommend anyone to shop here. This kind of thing should not be legal. They should at least work with me and exchange the bike since this one is obviously a lemon. Oh, speaking of lemons, the Florida Lemon Law DOES NOT COVER scooters for some amazing reason. So they know they can get away with selling people broken bikes and not have to face any kind of repercussions. This is a robbery! I feel like Ive been swindled, cheated, duped, tricked......... DO NOT BUY FROM SOLANO CYCLES!!!!!! They will try to give you excuses, they will blame it on the manufacturer, theyll say things like The bikes come off an assembly line so they get damaged on the trip over here whatever thats supposed to mean!!!! Doesnt even make sense.......

Horrible customer service lied over and over for a whole week about fixing my scooter they never touched it and the owner told me i will call you back to find out about a refund never did....i would never recommend taking a scooter to them they told me to buy a carb so i did which cost me 45 dollars then i took it back and a week later when me and my brother had enough bs we went and picked scooter up and they gave me a dinged up carb never never never go to these people they will ignore your phone calls also
