Needed a few windows and exterior door glass replaced due to fogging. Lee and Cates were responsive and priced well. Exceeded expectations in customer service on the phone and in person during the measurements and install. Glad to have clear windows again!

After competitive bids, Lee and Cates had the lowest price for replacing the glass in two of my house windows. Their professionals arrived to take their own measurements, with one of the windows having an arch on the top. They took a little longer than expected to get the windows in, and I had to follow up/call to schedule the installation, but scheduling was straightforward after that. The team arrived on schedule and quickly removed and replaced the dual-pain glass, working from the inside in order to not disturb the stucco outside. No mess, and beautiful windows. They have a 10-year guarantee. Very happy.

Everything about my experience was top notch! From the friendly phone conversation to delivery everyone was helpful and pleasant. I had glass cut to protect my dining table; someone came out to measure and gave me an estimate for the service. When I was ready to purchase (a week later) the estimate was the same and it took a few days to get the glass delivered. Upon delivery we were given care instructions. It was a great experience. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because their installer, Benji, saved the day. This is the second windshield Ive had replaced through L&C. Benji did my Jeep first so when I needed my Civic replaced I asked for Benji again. Because hes good at what he does, professional, courteous, and has old school skills. But whoever made the schedule didnt send Benji. They sent some newbie that has been installing for only 9 months to work on a 1995 Civic. He broke the cowl, tore off a gasket between the windshield and engine bay, and trashed the clips without seeing where they are supposed to go...plus it was quite obvious he was unsure of what he was doing but continued to beat up my old car anyway. He installed it crooked and broke the clips that hold it in. (A few days later it rained really hard and I had a stream of water coming from the A pillar on the driver side.) He didnt have the right tools because its an older car. I told L&C about their error and that they would be paying to fix all the things broken by their installer. Not only because it was his fault but because if they had listened to their customer from the start then they would have sent Benji and never wouldve been in this mess to begin with. All the issues happened back in November. I just got the windshield and some parts fixed today, January 14, 2020. I say some parts because they are still missing the gasket between the windshield and engine bay. The part in question was on the invoice but was not given to the installer and no reason why. They have given me no info, no updates, no nothing since this all started. I have had to chase them down and demand answers to get anything and IM STILL WAITING ON PARTS! Absolutely ridiculous. Thankfully I have no other windshields that need replacing but if I did I would not be using Lee & Cates glass. Not unless they could assure me that the only installer they will ever send is Benji. If Benji leaves then Ill follow him. Whoever is running the circus at L&C might want to reevaluate the office staff. They either dont care whats important to the customer or they are just that clueless. Benji, however, deserves more credit. I can almost bet that hes the only reason you stay in business.

Absolutely worst experience having my rear windshield replaced; took literally from 830 am to 230 pm. Safe Lite came to my house and we’re done in less than an hour with my old truck.Keep your day open if this company is who you’re working with, cause you aren’t going to be able to do anything else.

Maybe Lee & Cates needs local competition. Had to be there @ 8 AM. Got there early & @ 7:57 I went in bc a tech came out & spoke to another woman who was waiting with no good morning or even a glance to me. Ok. I went inside and stood there waiting to be spoken to. Then I had to explain why I was there, I did have an appointment. I even had to ask if someone could get the window from the truck just to have a man who had come out of a front office and ask the air...where is it? Ok. He went out with me behind him and he let go of the door on me. Then just leaves me, takes the window in the building, not a word. Even the woman @ the desk had to be prodded to talk to me about when to pick up the window. Is it bc I have gray hair? Am I invisible? Is it bc I brought the window in myself, not paying them for taking it & reinstalling it? Was it due to being 1st thing in the morning? One person behaving this way is one thing but three? Ill see how the rest goes when I pick the window up.

They were very helpful. They went out of their way to get me going. It hadnt rained in a month and the moring of my scheduled repair, it starts to rain. I was about to change my appointment and go to their shop, but the tech came out anyways. The sun was shining when he arrived and within an hour he had my window repaired and cleaned up. Amazing experience! I had a foul baseball shatter my back window the night before I was set to head out of town. Called around for estimates just to hear outrageous prices and that they couldn’t repair it until the following week. Lee and Cates was the last resort until I gave up. When I tell you my repair was completed same day within 2 hours of setting the appointment! And not to mention the least expensive! Lee and Cates made me a priority in my unfortunate occurrence and I am very much appreciative!

These guys are great!It started with the technician arriving a half hour early, which was great because I needed to get to work. Then, he explained everything he was about to do. He took his time, in the good-professional way. He made me aware of some rust that was showing, then grinded it off, added a sealant, and continued. He finished by cleaning the interior of my car and installing the new wipers I bought. (The wipers, by the way, are a steal! They sell them for $34 per pair, they are over $20 each at AutoZone) I will definitely be using and recommending them forever.

Completely ridiculous. This company never showed up the first day. Lied to their manager and said they left a voicemail saying they were running behind. Never received a call. Scheduled another appointment after being told I would be one of the first stops. Didn’t show up for the 4hour window they gave me then called me and said they would be another hour or so late. Over 8 hours of my time wasted and still waiting for them to show up.

Great job installing a glass partition in our medical office. We switched to Lee & Kates after the other glass company we were working with let us fall to the side due to the small nature of the job. Very pleased, thank you!

Needed glasswork quickly due to it being a rear windshield in our vehicle. Call made the appointment for two days later and very satisfied!

I had to wait a week to pick up a mirror that was cut too short. They tried to make me believe it was right upon return, but when I stepped in the back to make them prove it. The guy admitted I was right and “they can’t account for the mirror not being exact”! So, basically forget what I asked for and what was typed on the receipt! They said they wouldn’t be able to recut it the same day as promised on the phone by Dawanda, so I explained the situation to Wanda and she seriously hadn’t been paying attention and wanted to hear it from the guy in the back. You have an upset customer right in front of you the entire time and you can’t bother to pay attention? That’s right, looking at a computer screen not change doesn’t excuse you from proper customer service. She was always busy doing nothing, leaving Dawanda to do all the work. They had every excuse not to cut it again. I told them if they wouldn’t cut it today, then I needed a refund because I was not coming back a 3rd time. Magically, they could cut it at that very moment! The two stooges up front couldn’t seem to agree on how long it would take to complete the mirror process after the 15mins Wanda told me it would take passed. When I asked Dawanda she gave a way more believable time of 30mins. I called Wanda out by stating the facts about the time that had passed. She clearly has no since of time! I also stated the lies that had been told by everyone at that point. I clearly had a ride waiting for me outside the front doors, and was asking to convey to them whether to wait or send another car. I also made them aware of their poor customer etiquette with holding the door or at least offering to, as customers leave with their packaged glass. I actually held the door for a guy that picked up two pieces, because Dawanda actually sat back down after handing him the pieces which were of different sizes. I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes 😳?! I think the man’s name was Ron who recut the mirror. He carried the package all the way to the vehicle and put it in. I told him that was the best service I had received at that point. He responded “I just wanted you to be happy”. That’s how you make a wrong right! I just wanted what I thought I paid for and asked for originally. I won’t be back to this location! Too far for games.

Never again will I sit and wait in their showroom for a tech to come in from downtown Jacksonville office, if there is a next time your tech can come to me while I sit watching TV and drinking coffee.
