Such an extraordinary experience. We replaced all the flooring upstairs and most of the flooring downstairs. Antonio and his team were quick, professional and extremely conscientious. They treated our home with respect. They moved the furniture and put it back when finished. They cleaned up after themselves and left our home in excellent condition. I went into carpet man to replace the carpets in the bedrooms of my new home. I will admit I had very low expectations just because of how things are these days. Doug was there that day and he was attentive and honest and was obviously very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was even up front about some of the negative reviews they have received. He explained to me that they are trying really hard to make the next day installation happen but with the way things are its unfortunately not always that immediate. He told me that it would likely be a week or two before I could actually get the carpet installed. Within an hour he worked with the installation manager and had me scheduled for the next day. The installers were kind and helpful. It was overall an amazing experience and the carpet looks amazing. Thank you guys!

We were very disappointed with our project which involved installation of 2,700 square feet of glue down luxury vinyl plank flooring and 500 square feet of indoor/outdoor carpet. The luxury vinyl plank was installed on a very cold day in January, and the flooring material was not delivered and placed in the home prior to the scheduled installation day, to allow it to acclimate to the existing conditions. The installation was completed when the house was completely empty. Long story short the majority of the planks buckled at the joints as the temperature in the home increased. This installation occurred 10 days prior to our scheduled move in date. We informed carpet man about the issue the day after the installation and they sent workers out to address the problem. We were told to increase the heat in the empty home from 68 to 72 degrees. This only worsened the buckling. No repairs were made until after all our furniture was in place. After being inconvenienced on three separate weekends and cleaning up all the dust created from the repairs the visible areas of buckling are gone however, all the buckling beneath the furniture still exist. All this stress, could have been avoided had the project been managed better and the material been in the home and allowed to acclimate.

This is an honest review and not paid for. I went to see The Carpet Man in OP and got a quote to compare to Fantastic Floors. Ron with The Carpet Man helped us and he was great!! We saved $700, got amazing service, and learned about carpeting in the process. We could not be happier!! We were not a big job but Ron treated us as though we were. He explained everything, gave us options according to what we needed the carpet to do, it was a wonderful experience! They have a huge amount of stock but can order anything you want. We planned to go with a Shaw carpet we found and loved but ended up getting a stock carpet we also loved. Came in on a Thursday after a carpet order I had with a big box store for 6 weeks fell through on the scheduled morning of delivery. The sales team had a number of colors and grades of carpet to choose from which matched my other order, they came to measure the next day, and by Sunday I had 1400sq ft of carpet fully installed. And all at a lower price than the big box store - including that organizations military discount! So overall a win-win. I will definitely use them for the rest of my house flooring projects.

So happy with our install. Doug was great setting everything up for us, and the install crew today (didnt get their names) was fast and so sweet and courteous. Old carpet and pad ripped up, removed, new pad and carpet installed and ready in just under an hour. Could not be more pleased. Prices beat out Lowes, Home Depot, and another carpet installed in Jax.

Due to the interaction I just had over the phone with the gentleman whose customer service skills were just down right rude, this company will never get any business from me, my family, or my work department. We will take our money elsewhere and more deserving. If I filled out a form online requesting a free estimate and called to request a free estimate really shouldnt matter. I just need an estimate for the job I want done. But because this particular guy seems to not enjoy his job very much, and didnt seem too enthused to assist me from the moment he picked up the phone shows a reflection of the company itself, and that is unacceptable.

All I can say is WOW! Ron and the team at Carpet Man made our decor dreams come true! Ron was very patient with us during our LVP selection and guided us through all the pros and cons and the entire process. I never felt pressured to make any selections I didn’t want or spend more money than I originally planned. Our installation process was also seamless (carpet pun) as well. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND CARPET MAN (along with other local families we have talked to at sports/community activities since our experience)!! Weve found them very unprofessional and unethical - verbal assaults and threats. FYI - Read owners narcissistic responses to unfavorable reviews, manipulates review to point finger at customer and uses CAPS to emphasize he will not accept fault for anything. (Sorry for long review, but trying to be fairly inclusive of our experience thus far - will update along the way). We are new to area and met/discussed our home project with them for over a month and hired them for services. Price seemed good up front (read below for final costs)... Product is typical/average as expected for medium grade LVP. After first day on job, they admitted to making a major error in estimate, which cost our family extraordinary time, money (including missed days of work for extra week of contractors in home)... let alone stress of 4 people and 2 large dogs confined to small bonus room and 1 bath for extra unexpected week, plus no kitchen/cooking or laundry hookups. Carpet Man management stated in email this morning that consideration to us for their admitted error is not warranted. Overall cost for Carpet Man far exceeded other organizations/options. On day 8, contractor brought in someone to help with finishing project. They were here nearly 12 hours and came to me saying they were done and I needed to sign a paper and give them $7,870 check. I was home alone with my two young children and the installer (whom we communicated with during project) plus two other men surrounding me and telling me to sign a paper and give them a large check. Exhausted and uncomfortable, I signed under duress with enough momentary sense to make a note that credit card payment would be pending. The installer stated if we had any problems/issues to contact Carpet Man. After they left and we looked around house, we found incorrect product/installation and substandard workmanship. Contacting Carpet Man was a waste. They constantly tried to tell us that they heard our floors looked great. FAR from the truth!! We were and are still digging out from dirt and rubble from personal items/property and antiques not being covered at demo/install, as well as contractor damage to our home and the floors. Carpet Man demanded final payment and said theyd send contractor to fix things AFTER they received full payment. My husband and I reluctantly agreed to convey $6,000 in good faith until they fixed their errors and damages. They harassed me nonstop demanding I give date/time for installer right away. Unfortunately, we had so much school, work, etc to make up this week from missing last week that we could not take time off again right away. My first attempt to have a conversation with General Manager, Ron Ingram, to discuss situation and plan the resolution was COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! On speakerphone, Ron Ingram continually cut me off, demanded payment, demanded that I right then and there give him date/time for contractor to come back, cussed me out, threatened me and hung up on me in front of my husband and other parents listening nearby. When my husband called him back on speakerphone, Ron Ingram also kept cutting him off, cussed him out, referred to me as the damn wife, challenged my husband to come to his office and hung up on him. We immediately contacted our Carpet Man salesman to inform him of the occurrence. When the owner, Chris Jackson, was informed that evening, we received an email back which ignored the Managers verbal assaults and behavior as if it was acceptable and stated I hope you are enjoying your new floors. Coming from a family business going on 106 years strong, we cannot fathom how an owner can be so disrespectful and ignorant of what is happening in the front lines. Its all about Carpet Man bullying and trying to push us to say the floors are fantastic and that we are happy with them. Again, SO FAR FROM TRUTH!!

We had been told by another company that our carpet would take the over a month to get in stock! Thankfully, we were able to contact Dean Spurlin with Carpet Man and he exceeded our expectations! He was able to help us not only pick out a carpet, but also had it in stock and it installed within a week! We highly recommend their service, product and installation.

We have been getting our carpet here for years. However, we recently decided to shop with them again and have had nothing but problems so far. They lost our measurements for our house and had to come back out. They did not come back on the day they originally agreed to which was a Wednesday. They came out on Friday instead. They never gave us the estimate and they are prolonging this entire process. Not to mention the sale representatives are extremely hard to get in touch with. I will not be shopping with them again. Customer service is everything to me, but this is not a place I would recommend anyone get carpet from.

In this day and age its tough to get what you pay for and even tougher to be treated as though a company appreciates your business. From the time I contacted Ron about flooring in my 2040 Square foot Mobil home he was informative and professional during the entire process. He never once pressured me and gave me time to do my research and answered lots and lots of questions. He was sensitive to the budget I had and gave me options that achieved the confront and look I was going for. His crews showed up on time, performed their jobs in a professional manner and left my home spotless before they left. I dont do anything with out researching in depth and I dont trust what people who are selling fora living say...But I trust Ron because over the course of many weeks of deciding what product to use and what color ect ect, he earned it! Our dog was getting rushed into emergency ACL surgery and we need a carpet and pad for our floor that he would be staying on. We were on a tight time frame and Keith was excellent helping us find a solution for a very affordable price. Super customer service and professional. Such a pleasure dealing with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Ordered carpet, they came in the next day and put it in. Two guys in a truck showed up early, moved ALL the furniture, (TVs, dressers, beds, pinball machine, even a whole pool table!). They finished the job in just a few hours. Looks great and was a good price. 10/10 would recommend. (Had them work for us twice in the past, great each time)

We got our carpet installed 3 years ago and I wish I could upload a pic of what it looks like today. Complete garbage, there are so many wrinkles I cant count them all without losing track. We upgraded to best padding and its junk as well, you can literally tell when you walk from one pad to the next because they all have different firmness, one will feel soft another will feel hard. I thought it would even out over time but it never did. Im to the point that were just going to yank the carpet out and put hardwood down. Very dissatisfied, feel like I wasted my money. ☹️

I have to say, that I was so happy with my experience at The Carpet Man. I was selling my home and needed something fast, so I could put my home on the market. I called and spoke with Shelley. She came out that afternoon with samples and the carpet was installed the next day. The installers were friendly and did a great job. I have told all my friends what a great company !
