Weve been going here for a whiiiile now, and its amazing. They take EBT for those wondering, they have some fun flavors of stuffed chicken breast (Santa Fe is our fave), their jalapeno puffs & twice baked potatoes are also to die for. Its just high quality in general.

Great Meat Market!! I recommend the aged Ribeye steaks, they were amazing and the prices are great as well. The smoke sausages were very good also. Excellent Service with great meat selection!! Highly recommended!

Bought some ribeyes for 4th of July and they were excellent - thick cuts and great flavor! All of the employees/owners were super nice too. Ill definitely be back!

Small meat market and not the way Im used to buying filets but they seem good and have great hot sauce. Im from Jacksonville so not used to small meat market. Friendly and decent choice of meats.

This is a throw back butcher shop. Whether looking for beef, pork or fowl they have a great selection to choose from to fit every budget. Dont leave without buying a smoked sausage log or chicken...all smoked on the premises. Nice owners...who prepare double baked potatos and other side dishes for a ready made meal all home made.

Purchased 2 bacon wrapped filets on 5/2/20 for dinner. They were inedible could not cut with a knife very dissapointed atleast my dog now how snacks for the week

Wow.... just wow. New york cuts we got where perhaps the best Ive had. We also purchased crab stuffed portabello mushroom and was just amazing. Very friendly folk and very clean establishment. Never again will I buy meats from anyone els. I live in green cove springs and am making the trip. Again thanks!

If I lived closer I would stop here every week. The ribs are awesome, the sausage is awesome, stuffed mushrooms are awesome, the meat is always fresh and cooks up great! I highly recommend the place. We also bought a whole pig for a roast and the folks there are terrific and will always give you great advice. They have wine, sauces, salads, all kinds of great stuff.

We stop in at least once a week. The steaks are fabulous and are offered at a great price compared to the average grocery store. Weve tried their stuffed meats, salads and sausages- all have been wonderful!! They have great wines, sauces and locally made products like pepper jellies. The owners are very nice and the staff has all been very courteous.

The ribeyes here are always off the chain!!! Sat they have dry rub ribs cooling right out of the smoker that can feed an army. Delish never disappointed.

I bought a pound of ox-tails for $25. I cooked them and nothing but fat, grease no real meat! A waste of money.

A great selection of meat and dry goods. I do wish they had more vegetables so you could just have it a one stop shop. Great prices for quality of product.

Dont know what kind of seasonings were used inside the crab stuffed chicken but I was NOT expecting it to taste the way it did and we were unable to get past the taste (looked like something green was added) and had to make other plans for dinner. I was very disappointed because I was looking forward to trying it.

UPDATE 03/01/19 - Went back to check and see if the best smoked sausage in North Florida has returned.....and it has returned. Sausage was displayed out front at the meat display case. I asked for a taste test piece of the hot & mild pork, all taste and texture was on point. I purchased several sticks of each and enjoyed a piece of each over the weekend. Both were excellent. Texture was firm and not like sawdust as with the batch in January. The smoke taste was great & the aroma permiated the entire kitchen when heated. Throughly enjoyed it.....glad the problem is corrected....you are back @ 5 stars...no more 1 star....Ill be back for more.1/8/2019 must have been a bad day for buying sausage....I have been buying smoked pork sausage here for about 20 years. I make the trip from Mandarin just for the sausage. The sausage was kept in the back so I could not see what was selected for the hot and mild pork. I just asked for six sticks of the mild and two of the hot. To my surprise when I got it home to cut it up and portion it out, the hot seemed to be very fatty and soft. The mild a totally different texture than what I had been used to getting.This morning I had a small piece of hot and the mild for breakfast. Totally disappointing. Taste, texture and seasoning were all off. The hot was only kissed by the smoke at best. It is to the point that I wonder if this place has been sold to someone new and they are trying to copy what used to be the best smoked sausage in North Florida. This stuff I purchased yesterday is not. I can find the same poor quality here in Mandarin.

I have been using Fleming Island Meats for about 10 years and they are fantastic. Best meats in the area. Go to publix and pay twice as much for lower quality. USDA choice cuts that are delicious. get my boston butts from here to smoke, smoked sausage is fabulous, i love the bacon wrapped filet. Rib eyes are wonderfully marbled. If you are looking for something off the norm they have gator tail. Family owned and operated. what a hidden treasure this place is. Highly recommend, give them a chance and they will not disappoint.

Wonderful place to get meats....where else can you get 2 bacon wrapped fillets and 2 twice baked potatoes including tax for $20 and they melt in your mouth! Highly recommend their crab stuffed mushrooms and the hot smoked sausage.

I went here for the first time today and got 2 of the best bone in ribeyes I have ever had. Owners are professional and very friendly. If your are looking for some high quality meat at a fair price and from a great business then I would highly recommend going here.

The 2 women working were more interested in serving lunch to a couple of men than selling a few hundred dollars worth of steaks. Left very unhappy. With No steaks.

This is everything a meat market should be. High quality meats at a good price with people that know their meat. Uncompromising quality in every selection - ribeye, tenderloin, sirloin burger, pork filet, Boston butt, and the best boneless skinless chicken breast you will find. Love this place! FYI - we tried 4 different places before being referred to Fleming Island Meats. Hands down the best in Jacksonville!!!

We wanted to like this place but we werent greeted at all. We drove 40 minutes to get here. There was only 1 customer in the shop when we entered. It took almost 10 minutes before anyone asked us if we needed help.

I have been here several times the meat is always fresh and the spicy smoked sausage is always a hit for a quick snack at work.

Have been going here for over 10 years, mostly for the sausage sometimes Ribeyes and pork loin. Never had a problem with the customer service till today. A girl working behind the counter came out and my 10 years of shopping came to an immediate halt. By far some of the rudest, noncaring, take our business or leave it attitudes Ive ever experienced anywhere by far. I expect from some punk kid working a drive through window, but not here. Wow!! Thats all I have to say about this chick. Yes I said Chick. I can think of alot worse to call her. About mid 30ish, dark wavy hair, with her nose so far up her own ass she cant see whats going on around her. 10 years down the drain!! Thanks for nothin!! Now, go kick rocks

Unbelievably cold and unfriendly staff. I told them in a very friendly manner that I did have decided to go somewhere else because of how just cold and unpersonable they were and they simply replied, thats fine .

I go to the meat stores for the freezer packs because it helps me budget money out for mythe month. This place seems more of the we want to cook for you place and I find the meat packets prizes are not very competitive with other meat markets in the North Florida area.
