Great experience, knowledgeable and friendly employees. I had been looking for a custom wooden driveway gate to keep my dogs and daughter in the backyard and struggled to find what I was looking for. Options were either vinyl or in wood local places told me to cut up a fence panel to make it or get a steel reinforced gate ($3k+). Finally found Orange Fence and upon calling they knew exactly what I was looking for and could make it to my exact specs in their shop. Drove up and the gentleman I spoke with was really nice, I gave my thoughts on specs and using his experience he said that I might want to double check it because the ratio of lattice to panel would look off in his opinion. He recommended I go home and hold up cardboard in the spot and show my wife, sure enough as soon as we did that we agreed. Went back and ordered using new specs and the price was extremely fair. Unfortunately with timing I ordered right before Thanksgiving, then we had a snowstorm and then Christmas so it took a few extra weeks but it came out perfect. I picked it up myself, they gave me all the hardware so it was ready to install. Wife was thrilled with how it came out, sizing was perfect and we are extremely pleased. I will return and recommend them to others.

I contacted Orange as one of 3 companies to get a quote from. The rep (Bob) came on a Thursday and was over an hour late and never apologized. He promised to have a quote in my inbox by Friday morning. A week passed, and nothing (yes, I checked my Spam folder). I tried to call Bob and no answer and no callback. So I emailed Orange directly in the same thread that I originally contacted them asking if they could resend the quote. Its been a week and still no answer. I can understand if youre too busy for my job, or if there was a mix-up, but please tell me. This is unfortunately pretty unacceptable.

Called early December 2020 for a repair estimate. Guy never showed up. Called them and they said they needed confirm before they send someone over even though we had already confirmed the date the estimator would arrive a week prior.We are now almost 2 months later and still no estimate. Ive called numerous times and left emails. Each person who answers tells me they will get me the estimate which I never get. AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE EXTREMLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

I saw on their website that they offer fence repair service, so I called asking about a repair to a privacy fence. I was told that they only repair fences that they have installed, so what good is that? Why even say that you repair fences. This is like a garage publicly stating that they service cars, but when you bring your car in, they tell you that they only service cars they sell. The person I spoke with (Rick) said they might be able to help and asked me to send a picture of the fence and that he would get back to me about my options and/or feasibility of doing a repair or replace. That was over a month ago. I never heard back from him. Probably not a company I would want to do business with.

We waited 5 months for our fence. Orange Fence had problems with getting supplies due to Covid-19. This is understandable, but you can’t blame Covid for bad customer service.No one called nor returned our calls to keep us updated on the status of when the fence would be installed. Even after they cashed our deposit check, immediately, we heard nothing. It was although they left town with our money! Our fence was finally installed, nearly 5 months after our check cleared, on the week they promised only because my husband called again, and someone else had canceled. We also learned that an acquaintance ordered, had their fence installed a couple weeks later. This was after they received all our fencing. Apparently, installing our fence was not a priority to them, even though at that time we were already waiting 4 months. We were put at the end of installation list behind someone who just ordered a fence.Terrible customer service - not worth their high price. I do not recommend.

We recently purchased a home and needed to install a fence for our dog. The people we worked with were knowledgeable and took the time to make sure the fence was secure and there were no small gaps our pup could sneak out of. Overall, very happy and the fence looks great!

Vinnie came out and id an estimate and was very knowledgeable. Offered with great ideas for the size of my yard and what was best for keeping my pets in. Fence was installed only a few short days from finalizing contract and my beautiful fence was up in 2 days. The 2 man crew worked smoothly and were very professional. The price was reasonable and they worked with me to fit my budget. I am very happy with the results. (SEP2016)

Was going to have them maybe install a relatively small section of fence. However after reading these reviews and the rude person that answered my call, I decided to avoid these folks like the plague.

I stopped by this company to get a fence estimate and observed two white men talking with the glass door slightly ajar. As i approached, one man closed the door and made a gesture as to go around the back. The unfriendliness on the mans face was telling. I promptly, returned to my vehicle and left. The least he could havr done was greeted me and directed me to the proper area.

Just called them for est. they said because of storm damage and it having to do with my insurance which already said they would cover it to get est from a company so i call orange fence lady tells me to have 50.00 in hand!!! to give their man before he would give me est. now calling better business bureau, to file complaint just because this is wrong just called two other fence companies made appt. no problem, and no mention of 50.00$ this place just will take advantage of you

Horrible experience and company to deal with. I wanted my fence replaced, but was told it could be repaired. It fell over very shortly (talking a few weeks) after orange fence repaired it. It took them 2 weeks to respond to my calls and then I was told it would cost over 2k to repair the fence again. Completely unacceptable and piss poor customer service. Consumers be aware and stay away from this company!

I Spoke with Brian, Roys son about older paperwork on my account and he was extremely helpful in solving a problem.

When I placed my order I was told a three week lead time (from the owner) before install would happen. At the three week mark I called the store up and spoke to a female employee who told me that I was lying and they never told me three weeks that it’s 4 to 6 weeks. At the five-week mark I went to the store to find out the date of my install and I was told by the same female employee that my material was never ordered and she doesn’t know when my install will be. Never, never buy from here.

I had my fence replaced in three phases due to costs. In the first phase the guys set my fence almost 1-1.5 feet above the ground … when I came home from work, I told them the 6x6 pressure treated posts were to be laid length-wise between the posts then blocked (all materials were supplied by me for this – and I was assured by Bob that that would be handled) … after they did this, the lead guy made me pay him an extra $500 for the extra work – yes extortion does come to mind. During this phase the side gat was hung 6” off the ground, where I now need to keep a piece of 6x6 PT board in front of the gate to keep the skunks out.Each time we started a new phase, Bob would come out, go over the details and I would explain I have extra pieces that should be backed out of the order so I am not paying for them again. No problem I was assured.Second phase was to finish off the back line and placed level with the block wall (move the blocks where posts would go – I would then fit them back in afterwards) again directions were not followed. From corner to corner it’s a straight line, but no one of the guys used a string to align the posts, so it veered 3 inches into my neighbors yard – where I had to have them pull out the prior posts and realign them correctly. This then ensued into an argument with the extortionists from earlier.Last phase closed in the remainder of the back yard with a site line that is atrocious. But during this final phase, two guys came out, one disappeared and left the other to complete the job – a two man job done by one … posts had 1 foot of material cutoff prior to be installed, which left no room for adjustments after the panels were in place. The gate was set at a 30 degree angle, and nowhere near being plumb.They are extremely unprofessional. Its been close to a year since I had them install our new fence ... Problems that went wrong during the three phases have never been followed up and repaired ... during a wind storm, the caps came off the posts - directions clearly state they are to be glued on, yet none were done. One post snapped at the base Gates should swing away from the user in the manner in which it is used, yet one swings inward in a hard to maneuver spot and is six inches off the ground, so I need to place a 6x6 post on flat in front to keep the skunks out. Site lines are wavy.When they called for final payment, I stated not until everything was fixed and here is what transpired. Rick told me Dave would come out, he did and agreed there were outstanding issues that needed to be addressed and I have never heard from them again. The job was abandoned, so now a year later, I am wrting my review. Sadly I have to give at least 1 star to post this.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

My original review was a poor(1 star) one but after my encounter today with them i had to change it to 4 stars and the way they changed from a 1 to a 4 is by fixing the problem not brushing me off as just another customer.
