I have LOVED Joanns for many years! Very rarely have I not found exactly what I wanted - and more! Awesome employees, always!

Had the open faced shrimp and crab melt. It was delicious. Followed up with a strawberry cream puff for dessert.

The bad thing about this Joanne Fabrics (in Orange, Calif.) is that their fabric, craft supplies, decor, and sewing equipment are normally overpriced. I can always find basically the same things for less at a different stores.The GREAT thing about this Joanne Fabrics is that if you catch them during one of their sales, the prices are amazing!I was just there during a weekend sale and got 40% off regular-priced fabric PLUS an extra 25% off of that. If you sign up for their email promotions they send you discounts and coupons almost every week.The other thing I like about Joanne Fabrics is that its very neat, tidy, and organized. The problem with larger, cheaper, discount fabric stores is that they tend to be unorganized and it takes forever to find what you want. You will not have that problem at Joann Fabrics.

WORTH THE READ OF BEYOND RUDE ACTION BY AN EMPLOYEE YOU WONT BELIEVE. 1 STAR IS GENEROUS FOR THIS LOCATION. I regularly shop Joann stores and have for decades. Great selection, products and from their original beginning as primarily a fabric store they have significantly increased in a variety of items and projects for sale. I had placed my order using an online 60% off coupon at 1 location but was later notified my order could not be filled, as their stock was sold in store just prior to my order. I asked about the 60% coupon and was told all Joann stores honor online coupons so I shouldnt have any problem. I called around and found what I needed at the Orange location, explaining my situation about the coupon and how theyre lost once used online. Whoever answered said come in and well take care of it. After arriving, I went to fabric & described what happened. The employee said there was nothing she could do so I asked for the manager, and was passed to a person identifying themself as asst. mgr. I again explained the situation and was told she would offer me a 25% in house coupon. I asked her about stores working together and she said we are different and have our own policy, but would be willing to offer me 25% off. WOW! [Not sure how Joann, Inc. might interpret their own policy statement] Anyway, I asked when the mgr. would return and was told she’s out and doesn’t know how long. I also got the impression she really didn’t believe me, so I called the original store and let her speak with the asst. mgr. person. During the call, on speaker, she agreed to give 60% and the call ended. I picked up my fabric went to the cashier and was given a total equal to 25% off. Really? I explained this was to be 60% discount and she said her register won’t take the discount. I asked why she doesn’t override the sale and she said it can’t be done to their registers. Pretty soon, the asst. mgr. who spoke on the phone with the other Joann store & told her shed honor 60%, walked up and said I will give you 40%. I said you agreed to honor the 60% on the phone. She said I can only give you 40%. I told her that’s fine, the other store told me if you don’t honor the 60% discount then I can take the fabric & receipt to them and they’ll make up the difference. What followed next was SHOCKING! Immediately, the woman LITERALLY grabbed the fabric from my hands and said then I’m not selling you anything. I couldn’t believe it. At that point it was difficult to keep the descriptive words, about her inexcusable and unprofessional actions, in my head so I just walked out. I finally found a store 35mi away that accepted the online 60% coupon discount and was even willing to honor it on any other purchase in the store. Please know, this was an experience that when reported to Joann, Inc. felt a $20 credit would smooth the experience. It really didnt but I did appreciate the offer. The Orange store definitely needs serious training on customer service, at least for those left in charge, when the mgr. is not on site. She acted as if the discount was coming out of her own pocket. Minor problems with stores don’t affect my continued business with them, however this was beyond what interaction should be with a customer. I do not recommend this location and will not return.

The things I needed were not in stock. and the prices were all very expensive. The cashier was rude. I no longer have the discount card. (stolen purse) They dont allow you to enter your phone number, so I was not able to get the discount. I was informed that the card must be scanned for the sale prices.. I asked for a new card. I was ignored. There were no other customers in line behind me. I wont be going back to any Joannes store.

They had so much stuff to choice from!! We were there for 2 things and they had a great selection. Staff was helpful in helping us find what we needed!!

I would give zero stars if I could. Do not advertise that you price match and/or have hassle free returns. I had to wait for a manager for over 50 minutes to make a return. Price matching is based off of the retail price not the price minus the discount that’s advertised. Management did not care as when I expressed my disappointment at the time factor i was met with a “well there’s nothing i can do about that”. Since the staff isn’t equipped to handle these customer service issues and price matching questions it created a horrible experience. If JoAnns is going to make these bold claims they need to stand by it and train their staff/leads. Forever a Michael’s and (dare I say it) Hobby Lobby (for fabric) shopper— no longer shopping at JoAnns- especially this location.

ONE OF THE CASHIERS COULD USE AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT CLASS AS SHE IS ALWAYS QUICK, RUDE AND REFUSES TO SCAN FOR COUPONS ALSO REWARDS SAYING THEY ARE TAKING THAT AWAY SOON ANYWAYS

If your gonna shop remember they have been giving coupon with reciept for 50% of hightest regular priced item and you can us other coupons with it so if ur good shopper and want to save alot be sure to use app and sales.. the have good prices to begin with some of the fabric adds up quick but nice store and people

They had what I needed finally! Not the stores fault. But Im sure C-19 has had something to do with shelves being empty. Anyhow I hope the employees can continue a great attitude and taking it how it comes and doing the best with what they got.

This Jo Ann is one of my favorites to shop at, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The only reason Im writing this is because this store seems to be very low on fabric and notions, Im sure due to Covid related wierdness. I went for black elastic and fold over elastic in colors, and they had a very limited selection. They also have a very limited selection of quilting cotton (Im sure also due to people making masks)My point being...you may want to call in advance if you are looking for something specific. Hopefully stock will be replenished and things will get back to normal at some point in the near future!

Joanns has so many craft supplies as well as decoration, if you sign up for their email they almost always have atleast a 40% coupon available daily, along with other great deals. They have so many different fabrics and materials to pick from and I recommend coming here if you are in need of supplies.

The staff here is always fantastic! I spend 20 minutes walking around trying to find something only to break down and ask for help. Which is when they immediately direct me to what I am looking for. They are always willing to help and are very knowledgeable.

While I think Joanns tends to be overpriced, this store has a huge selection. I think the best aspect of the store, though, are the staff. So friendly and helpful! On my most recent visit, as I was walking through the store one of the staff members who was cutting fabric yelled, Yass queen! Look at you with your outfit! and it absolutely made my week. Thank you woman cutting fabric who has perfect eyeliner, youre amazing and though you flustered me a bit, pleaseee be my friend lol.

Great selection, clean store but prices higher than they used to be or compared to other places that I shop. I do love the products they carry and they have everything you’d need for any sewing or craft project.On my most recent visit, I found a number of sale items located in the back of the store but they were priced incorrectly and didn’t scan at the sale price. It was very frustrating having to pay a higher price than what the sticker showed on item.

Very helpful staff. I was able to find just the right fabric for my project and they sold me a quarter yard! The wife found a Christmas door mat for half price.

They are offering curbside pickup as well as in store shopping. Customers are wearing masks and social distancing is being implemented and enforced. Good work JoAnn Fabrics!

This store has horrible and inconsiderate workers. Instead of asking the customers if any of us needed help they were too busy chit-chatting away and made us all wait in line. And also, one told us to get a number but then failed to call the numbers in order. So other customers that have been waiting ended up waiting longer because they failed to be double check which number was up. So unprofessional. Y’all suck!

This location in Orange has been renovated recently and it is a great place to shop. They have more space, more products, and easier parking. The staff is very kind and helpful even when you ask questions they must have to answer a million times a day.It is definitely worth getting their app also for digital coupons when you dont have physical ones.

I love this store and everyone that works there. They told me they wont be carrying balsa wood anymore and Im really upset about that. Does anyone know where to buy balsa?

Great New location. Clean environment, always friendly staff and more of a product selection since since it previous location across the street. This location offers a great selection of classes for it customers now. Whereas, I dont think I was able to beforehand.

Experience was ok, although I expected a larger selection of merchandise. I could not pull up the 40% off coupon because my cell went dead. The store should have the coupon at the register so that customers can get their discount. I was disappointed about that, wish they would change that procedure. Items were pricey compared to other craft stores.

Girl at the cutting counter was very nice; however, the people at the register were very disrespectful. Lady said I couldn’t use any of my coupons which I think was bs because I’ve used my coupons on stuff before. Definitely will not be back here again. Will be taking my business somewhere else

Sometimes a man needs to make things out of something other than wood, steel or concrete. Since Home Depot doesnt carry canvas and nylon fabric I turn to this place. I may or may not have been guilty of buying quilting supplies as well. Love me some remnant bin deals.

Really nice new store. Huge improvement visually from the old location. Still very warm and welcoming staff. We were able to easily find what we needed and got our questions answered quickly.

This is an excellent location for all things regarding sewing and fabrics as well as accessories and supplies and thread needles and sewing machines and everything you could possibly need or want to produce garments or anything the to pick make out of cloth and textiles. This location has excellent parking and is conveniently located off Justin and easy to find.

Extremely pleased with my experience here. Super nice employees who know what theyre doing and have the customers best interest in mind. Was first helped by a nice middle aged woman with grayed hair and finger tattoos who found the perfect fabric and cut it for me. Was then helped at the register by Mindie who was incredibly sweet and helped me find a coupon online when I asked. Thank u so much and I will be returning again.
