We recently ordered cabinets at Express Kitchens of Orange and had a great experience. Patti was patient and creative with our design layout, always keeping our budget in mind. We actually thought we knew what layout we were looking for, but Patti came up with a better design and we couldnt be happier.
We have had a wonderful experience with Express Kitchens, after working with multiple other companies and being let down. The true customization of a new kitchen design was a lot of fun. Last week our installer, Brian Smith came out to install all of the cabinetry and he was wonderful to work with. He is truly a master craftsman and went WAY above and beyond to make sure the job was not only done, but to a very high standard. We would highly recommend both Express Kitchens and Brian Smith to anyone looking to design a new kitchen.
My first and only experience with Patty in the Orange store. She helped me design the kitchen and bathroom. She was very professional and patient. She understood what I wanted and she made very good recommendations. Overall a very good experience.
They are a great place for a one stop shop fast and easy. The measuring and pictures of the kitchen happened so quickly however they said that they would send us an email with all the measurement information and pictures, because we paid for it, and NEVER got it. The consult with patricia was very informative, however she kept pushing us towards stuff I wasnt even interested in, and every idea I had she shot down until we had a kitchen that was just what SHE wanted and thought would look good. That me as the client didnt feel happy about. Im very displeased with the lack of collaboration they allow for the people that come in. Needless to say we went with someone else.
Finally my dream kitchen is finished....Best bang for your buck. Full plywood boxes with slide out drawers and soft close. Would definitely refer a friend and use again!5 stars to Larry (salesman in Orange) who put up with my constant changes, offering his knowledge and advice. He was always patient and professional during the entire process of designing my dream kitchen.4.75 stars to Carlina (my contact at customer service) who was always professional and helpful, although sometimes slow to respond.5 stars to Dan (manager) who interjected and sped up the process correcting the counter top issue. Which by the way is resolved and looks amazing.5 stars to my counter top installers (whose names escape me). Both times out they were on time, professional and worked clean (left no mess).
Express kitchens provide me with beautiful countertops when Home Depot dropped the ball. Chellie from Milford hooked me up with templating and install in 2 WEEKS! Price matched my previous countertops as well. I will definitely be using them again.

Patricia Bradstreet, is the best to plan and manage our kitchen project. She gave us so many options, she was pointing out every single detail according to our necessities, and wants. I highly recommend her to be the project manager for your kitchen!! 10/10

I can not be happier with the results of my new kitchen. In just two (2) days they came in and removed old and installed the new with only a little down time of not being able to use the kitchen. ..a great job!
One stop shop!!! They handle almost everything for you but what I was most impressed with was the knowledge and flexibility in designing my kitchen. From the salesman, Larry in the store to the person who came to do the measuring, Bill, all were helpful, informed and courteous. Made us feel like our kitchen was a priority. I would recommend Express Kitchens to anyone thinking about a kitchen remodel. And it was within our budget!!!
Colby, my project manager, worked tirelessly and simultaneously on three kitchens for me, answering every question, accommodating multiple change requests, and replying to emails late in the evening. His work ethic is admirable, especially given the circumstances and constraints due to the Covid virus, with limitations on accessibility to his showroom, and cuts in staff. Can’t wait for my new kitchens!
Checked in at their store to inquire about new cabinets. Store manager was helpful to offer what we wanted. Their TV commercial gave us a good deal on counters. My husband was impressed about their teams work as measurers and installers did a great job. Everything just happened the way I wanted. Would certainly recommend them to my colleagues.

I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with the way that this place is run and how things are done here. We were recommended to get our kitchen redone here, but I will never recommend this place to anybody again. In fact, I’d tell people to run in the opposite direction. We started on September 9th, and everything was supposed to be done within a couple of weeks time. It’s now November 13th, and we will not be done with it until mid December, if we’re lucky. There are a number of problems with the kitchen that need to be fixed but have not been yet. To start, the cabinets above the refrigerator were the wrong size and design, and when they replaced them, they installed the handles unevenly. The cabinets on the other side of the kitchen were also installed and they were the completely wrong kind of cabinet, different than all of the others. They then came back three extra times to replace them, but ended up having the same WRONG ones each time. When our granite was installed, there was a big gap on the side and it was crooked. In all, they’ve come back about 10 times and little progress has been made. Now we are told we have to wait until December for the correct cabinets. This is ridiculous and I am so fed up with the outcome. Whoever they hire to do the installation needs to be fired immediately because this is not fair to paying customers. The only person that’s been helpful from the beginning is Larry.
My Mom, Dad, my sister Cathy and I (Donna), met with Patty at Express Kitchens awhile ago to design a beautiful kitchen for my Mom. It was her dream to have her kitchen redone. Patty was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable in this process. The kitchen was completed very recently and it was a wonderful and easy process from start to finish. All of their team were so amazing and so very kind. We would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Thank you all again for this amazing experience. Terrible experience, I have never had more issues with a company. Customer service has stopped responding to any of our inquiries. Items were ordered incorrectly, time frame for replacement items are ridiculous and issues with how the kitchen was designed by their professional designer, requiring us to hire a contractor to recustomize our brand new “custom” cabinets in order to make them work. Would NEVER recommend this company.
Installers Dan and Dustin were great to work with. Carlina our contact person was a big help when some of the doors were wrong and had to someone come out twice to finally get everything right.
Went down and thought this place was going to be able to give me my dream kitchen. After having my kitchen measured and designed, found out what they promised could happen couldn’t. Designer was to look into finding new cabinets in the right size and color and get back to me. After a week heard nothing and called the corporate number to voice my dissatisfaction and ask if I could work with a new store because I was losing faith in the Orange store. Was connected to the Newington store where the employee heard my story and asked I give him a half hour to look into the matter. I have not heard back since..this company likes to advertise good ideas but can’t follow up! Stay away from if you don’t want to waste your time!!
Not currently very happy with Express Kitchens. Install went great, but trying to get last details finished has been a nightmare and they just don’t seem to care that it’s been two months. Based on current unfinished status, two stars at most.Not happy having to post this, but after three failed attempts and a no show today, people need to know that they may run into problems if everything doesn’t go perfectly on install day.
We had a great experience with Express Kitchens and I would highly recommend them. Im surprised to see a bit of negativity on here but I had good luck with them and I felt the pricing was extremely fair.
In October I began my search for cabinets for my kitchen. I had been to several places and found the salesmen pushy. I decided to stop in Express Kitchens in Orange, Connecticut. The cabinets were ordered and scheduled to be delivered on November 23, 2018. On the 23rd of November the cabinets arrived and the delivery men were wonderful. On Friday November 30, 2018 the boxes were opened to start the installation process. We decided to open all the boxes at this time to find several cabinets damaged. There were eight cabinets that were damaged. I called Larry who put me in touch with Carlina. At this time she reordered the cabinets but we were not able to get them delivered until the following week. When the redelivery occurred there were five cabinets that were damaged. It was almost impossible to get in touch with Carlina. I would leave a message and tell her I was free between certain times and she would call ten or fifteen minutes after that. I see patients all day and am unable to keep making and receiving phone calls. After receiving the wrong cabinet style I was very upset. This delayed my project from being completed. After delivery number five Carlina insured me she personally checked the cabinets. I was suppose to get a 4 by 8 panel to cover up a mishap, a door that was damaged and the cabinet that was wrong. I was told by Carlina at 12:30 pm that they were on their way. My contractor and two men sat here until 4 pm and they did not arrive. I called Carlina at three o’clock and then again at Five o’clock leaving voicemails both times. Shortly after five I received a phone call from the delivery man saying he would arrive here at 6:15-6:30. At about 6:20 this nice gentleman showed up and I asked about the delay in the delivery and he stated that he was told at five pm to bring them to me. So Carlina basically lied to me and did not have the courtesy to call me. The delivery man brought in the 4 by 8 sheet and the new door but no cabinet. Well I flipped! On Friday morning I called Carlina to find out what happened. She said she would send it as soon as possible. She told me again she personally checked it. Well it arrived and again was the wrong style and damaged. The same one I already returned . I was beyond upset. Finally Karen intervened and got the right one to me. I am highly disappointed with this whole experience. Seven deliveries and there are still imperfections. There were a few problems also with the measurements taken . One cabinet did not fit at all so it had to be installed lower than the others and one is so close to the wall that no tile can be placed. Due to the measuring mishap a piece of covering had to be place to cover a screw hole and the corner cabinet is unable to get covered with the panel because it does not fit with the crown molding on my windows so now I have to live with a dent in the side. So in all I am very dissatisfied with my kitchen. I feel the quality of the cabinets is poor and the customer service I received is unacceptable . I do not feel that brand new cabinets should be damaged and was told by Carlina to use the touch up kit that was provided. Spending ten thousand dollars and having to touch stuff up and cover it up with side panels is a joke. After ordering the thermafoil cabinets I was ensured that they were the most durable and easy to clean cabinets. I was not informed by any salesmen or customer service representatives that they should not be installed next to a stove or in a home close to the ocean (which mine is directly across the street from the beach). The steam from the coffee pot has melted the finish on the cabinet door and over time the ocean air will peel the thermafoil finish off of the cabinets. I emailed two of the higher representatives of the company over a month ago and have received absolutely no response. Express Kitchens does not stand behind the quality of their product or their customer service. Having such a terrible experience with the company I will never recommend them to anyone for a kitchen remodel.

We had a wonderful experience when we went to Express Kitchens just looking for Quartz counter tops. The project manager ( Ms. Fozia Rafique ) was totally engaging and knowledgeable and was extremely helpful. She was able to price out the project and kept it within our budget. Extremely pleased with the service we received and we will definitely recommend to family and friends .Tony & Maggie Sethi
