Nicest people, best doughnuts, and easy to find on the corner of Chapman and Hewes. Friendly Donuts lives up to its name with great drinks, fast service, smiling folks behind the counter, and yes, absolutely amazing donuts.

It was our first time there today. We came from Riverside mainly for their vegan donuts and they did not disappoint. The donuts, both vegan and regular, were soft, not overly sweet, and delicious. It was nice to see over a dozen different kinds of vegan donuts. The crew was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back . Pictured are most of the vegan ones we got. It was a long drive and the other donuts did not make it home. Lol 😆

Drove past this donut shop and saw that it was vegan. So I decided to turn back around and try them out.It was Sunday morning and they were a little busy, but they were very well in control of the customer flow.Customer service was great. Very friendly and they make you feel very welcomed.They have a very good selection of donuts. The donuts themselves are very soft and tender. The taste is better then the donuts you try at other shops.Keep in mind theyre pricey but theyre a MUST try!

Apparently Im not the only person who eats their maple French crullers. If you are the person who ordered the 6 a couple nights ago, I dont hate you, but its pretty close to that. There is definitely Beef now. Anyways, customer service is straight up amazing. Got 2 free donuts and all their donuts are fire. Will be giving them lots of money in the future.

As you can see these look amazing, and I can confirm they are delicious. I love muffins, people call me the muffin man. And they have some of the best muffins Ive ever had. Im only sad I didnt get to take a picture of them. 😭

This is a great spot. Originally shown to me by a coworker. Ive been coming here for almost 3 years now. Their donut game is constantly evolving. Always coming up with something new. They have a huge selection of donuts and even vegan donuts if thats your thing. My favorites are trying all the different flavors of mochi donuts and the banana pudding donut is off the chain. Note the banana pudding donut is only available on weekends. The employees are extremely helpful and nice. A group of friends and I are wildlife enthusiasts and we go up to the Santa Ana mountains pretty often and its become a tradition that we stop by Friendly Donuts after a long day of hiking.

A hidden gem :) my boyfriend and I usually stop to get donuts after a hike at Peter’s Canyon, and I always get the yummy mochi donuts... they have a huge selection for whatever kind of donut or treat you like, and hellooo open 24 hours is awesome. Staff is also always super friendly, love to chat with them. I highly recommend!!

Be careful when you go this place!!They can’t calculate the price right!I bought 10 mochi donuts and 2 cream corns and they asked me 37.50 dollars and didn’t give me the receipt.After I paid, I asked them to give the receipt and suddenly the guy asked me ‘you want refund in cash or credit card’ !!!And they even don’t know how to apologize properly!!I complained and the other guy came out did you anyway got the refund so it is okay kind saying and attitude.

They have Cronuts! But they are called Dossants. A real variety of options, even late at night! And often new donuts at the front that are different from when you got in line. Highly recommend! Oh, and the donut box is cute!

This place was nice! Had no idea there were so many delicious choices for donuts. Guy at the counter was very friendly and patient with me, answering all my many questions about what was what. I tried a mochi donut and it was amazing, his recommendation, and he was spot on! They also have CRONUTS!!!! Lots of options for those too although Im not sure you can go wrong with a cronut.

Unfortunate because we loved this place, and at the end of the day it doesnt matter how good the donuts are, customer service is very important.The staff had no knowledge of pricing for their food. I was told different prices by each employee. The owner, is extremely rude, very insulting and it is for that reason that we will not longer be visiting this spot.No one who owns an establishment like that should ever speak to a customer the way she did.I would support another small business who is more humble and treats their customers with respect.

Came here with my friends around midnight and the staff member that served us was really friendly and funny! They were very helpful with telling us about all the donut flavors and about the seasonal favorites. Im really glad we found this spot! These donuts are delicious and HUGE. The yeast donuts are truly the best youll find in the city. They are pillowy soft and so fun to break into and tear apart. Im not sure if this was just the case for me, but the old fashioneds I got were a bit dry, so I think other places in OC beat them out. But the yeast donuts are absolutely on point.

Friendly Donuts is my favorite place in the WORLD! Seriously the best donuts I have ever tasted in my life. It is family owned by the nicest family ever and it is truly hard for me to not drive myself here everyday. The Maple donuts bring joy to my life that I have been missing. Also, their Thai tea is the best I have tasted in Orange County in a long time.

I sure loved that they live up to their name. They ARE quite friendly; I wish all establishments were as friendly as the two employees we interacted with today.The mochi donuts are delicious, but the normal donuts, even though they ARE thoroughly cooked, taste a bit like raw donut dough. If we were to go back, it would be mochi donuts all around.

Went in today to pick up an order for someone. Once inside I knew I had to buy some for myself. Super happy I did!! Amazingly fresh and delicious donuts!!! The guy that helped me was so friendly and personable. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area. A little pricy for donuts but you get what you pay for.

Best doughnut selection out of any other place Ive been. A bit pricey but worth it. The Canadian with maple glaze and bacon was really good. Crisp, not greasy bacon and just enough sweetness in the maple. I need to try all their others.
