This is what buying a car should be like. Jennifer Hall and Connie created a first rate experience as we bought a brand new Tundra. I told Jennifer which truck I wanted and my parameters over text, she sent me a quote showing the interest rate and 3 different payment options/terms. I told her my preference. The entire deal was fair and reasonable. When arriving at the dealership Connie took over. She gave us the keys and told us a good route to test it on. When we got back, she was busy but paid excellent attention to us. We werent there very long before the deal was finalized and we met Felicia Preston who was the very best. She completed the financial end quickly, informatively, and respectfully. This was one of the best vehicle purchase experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend them.

Mary was a pleasure to deal with. However, after working on a deal remotely, and being told we had reached an agreement, the dealership was unwilling to honor the deal in person.We were told this is because of an engine issue with our trade-in, however, we had a carmax offer in hand which is what they said they would match. Carmax also noted the engine problem, so it was known, but Davis Toyota didn’t want to stay true to the deal, and tried to charge us $3,500 more than what we agreed upon. Terrible waste of time unfortunately.

What a disappointment! I purchased the vehicle brand new from here but normally get oil change in Charleston due to travel. Normally, at the Charleston dealership they come out and greet me and ask about my service needs. Upon driving up- I waited for an employee and no one showed up. After going through multiple doors- I found an employee sitting behind a computer and she asked immediately without any introduction,” DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT”. I stated that I tried early this morning through your chat session online but no one has called/text me back. Her remark was I would have to wait until the techs come back from lunch....1:30. Remind you it’s 11:51. This really doesn’t surprise me since it is Orangeburg. So I decided to call back and ask for the owner. The owner is based in Florida, therefore this sums up my experience. I ask, if you are looking for the experience from purchase to service, stay far away from this out of state dealer. There seems to be zero accountability with poor service. The sad thing is, I was looking to trade in this car soon since my daughter is going to college. Davis Toyota will never be associated with my future searches.

Bought a used corolla from here. 2019, needed service with in 1000 miles of buying it. Was also told id recieve a spare key and after hounding the salesman for a month I was told I wouldnt get one. Completely unprofessional people. I dont expect much buying a used car but the people there couldnt of cared less about me or anything. Definitely wont be returning.

The Sales team was amazing. Lisa Preston and her team got me the car and the deal I wanted even with my credit challenges. Over the weekend, I traded my Corolla for a 2020 Camry. Once again, Lisa and her dynamic team (Lorenzo, Mike, and Morris) got me a phenomenal deal, with an even lower interest rate and no down payment. This place is amazing. Their staff is dedicated, courteous, and very diligent in customer satisfaction. I was even more pleased with my experience, the second time around. They will go the extra mile to get you the best deal possible without all the haggling and sales pressure . I was in and out in 2 hours. it took a little longer than before, because they had a power outage in the area that morning. It took 1 hour for the power to come back on. This place is great when you are buying your vehicle!But unfortunately they do not stand behind the vehicles they sell. We initially bought a used highlander that had a service issue immediately after purchasing. They refused to fix our vehicle until we decided to take to another dealership that agreed to repair our car. So fast forward a couple years we decided to purchase a new tundra I decided to purchase from this dealership again. After bringing home our new truck I noticed water spots on my truck I could not remove. Took to truck to service department. They refused to fix the problem Said it was acid rain!!! Took to local body shop who confirmed it was just water spots! To this date they have still not been willing to help us!! Do not buy from them. They will disappear when you come back for help!!!!

Looked at a Certified Toyota Camry and they told me the car looked great no issues and even said if the car had any issues they would not be allowed to Certify it.So me and my wife drove 3 hours from NC to only drive up and within 10 ft of walking up to the car could see the car had been hit in the front end and not repaired. Then they claim oh that must have happened this morning. So lets look at another vehicle and we will work you up a great price on this one.So they talked and came back with the same price they had offered me on the vehicle and to add insult to injury I looked at the carefully angled pictures from the sales girl on Saturday to only zoom in and see in one of the pictures the Damage was there previously. After this I asked to speak to the GM and my wife is almost in tears because we expect more out of a Toyota dealership over Joes slick deals car lot....The GM of the dealership finally admitted the car had not been hit that morning and admitted further when I asked for the 160 point inspection paperwork that the car had been hit previously, never repaired, and should never have been certified.Totally waste of a whole day and 400 miles on my car to only deal with dishonest people.I took pictures of the 160 point pencil whipped inspection and plan to file a complaint with the BBB and Toyota for their business practices.I dont think this new dealership will be a Toyota dealership if this activity continues.Whatever you do DO NOT BUY without looking the vehicle over closely in person even if its a certified vehicle.

Made a deal on a used car with the sales manager mike. Mike said the car needed to be serviced and detailed and to come back for pickup. Got a call that the car was ready (from mike and two weeks later mind you) and confirmed we are still good to go. I drive down from Columbia, spend an hr at the dealership for mike to come out and say this is where we are, I had to put some money in the car so I rose the price $2,000. Im old school, if we shake hands and look eachother in the eye its a deal, not with Mike.

I was able to get a car but the back and forth and unprofessional people that you deal with isnt worth the hassle. The service department receptionist are mediocre and will have you waiting for a car thats already done while they finish their personal conversations. Avoid Tommy Love at all cost, and if possible just go to a different Toyota dealership.
Do not buy certified cars from them. I bought a 2018 Camry LE and found a hidden accidental damage later. It was not on the CarFax. I had to switch to a 2020 Camry LE. They messed up the loan and registration documents. I had to deal with the bank, DMV, and the county treasurer to fix the issues. They charged me for a new tag and are not returning my money for the tag transfer. Extremely disappointed about the folks including Lorenzo and Cole.

I was escorted to a spacious andcomfortable lounge area for the reasonable wait. When done, the service personnel presented me my keyswith a printed summary of the services performed and talked through each item. Toyota then proposed thenext mileage service schedule for me. I always have a great experience at Toyota of Orangeburg. If I ever I need them, they are always able to accommodate me. Many times I need them at the last minute and I am always a happy customer at the end of the day. For any of my vehicle needs, I go straight to them first. I know Toyota will make sure my vehicles are taken care of in a timely manner so that I am on the road as much as possible.
Must the auto service center car dealership experience involve higher labor rates, elevated parts monopoly, and preying on the ignorance of unsuspecting community members?I for one, would appreciate survelliance cameras on the mechanics being live streamed into the lobby. It would also be wonderful to have the staff continually updated on Toyota recalls and defects as relates to a means of properly addressing customer service needs. Post sales relations could be drastically improved in areas of maintenance and inspections. Traffic flow in and out of service intake needs timing and safety improvements.
My experience was wonderful. I went in hoping to look at a used vehicle but instead they offered me a new 2017 Toyota YarisiA. The sales lady was wonderful, very helpful and polite. The business/finance manager explained everything to us and we came out with more perk incentives. I will definitely recommend Jimmy Jones Toyota of Orangeburg to everyone.

This is my first time every reviewing a business. But this morning I experienced something that just broke the camel back. RUDENESS....I have never had any problem with their service department before and I cannot speak for their sales team because I have never bought a car from them. But this morning I had to take my car in for diagnosis test and had to be dropped back home by their shuttle service. The driver drove very well and the car was clean; however, the drivers personality left a funny taste in my mouth. He was stone face, lacked personality and did not even say morning, just wanted to know where I was going. What really struck me as rude was when I asked if I could assist him with finding my home. He chose not to respond to my question...AND YES HE DID HEAR ME.... he had to make a U-turn which I thought was pointless. NOW I know some might say so what, he did his job. Thats true but their is a difference from just doing your job and giving good customer service. I PERSONALLY HAVE A PET PEEVE WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, whether its in the way the person speaks, facial expression and body language.

I took my friends suv there today for 4 new tire and oil change. We were greeted by Chris Bruce, service manager.He was friendly and explained everything to us. Ms. Gordon, the shuttle driver dropped us off at Chestnut Grill for lunch. She was super friendly and very professional. She is a people person and very kind. She pops the popcorn, stocks the drinks and snacks in the lobby.A.Ameen Shareef, sales consultant showed us a 2019 larger suv. He was great. He showed up all the upgrades and was very professional.Mr. Jones you have a great team working for you. When i need a new car I will be coming to your dealership for my new car. Shareef was very helpful and transparent during the buying process. His knowledge and honesty made me feel I was making a good decision rather than being roped into something. The process was elongated because of my lack of documents, so any potential buyers should prepare accordingly: proof of address, check stub, and a form of identification will speed things up. If any recent graduates are looking for a deal I recommend Shareef.
Expected service, but neglected lounge. I have two small kids and often need to come with them. The childrens lounge is in disrepair. A block table with no blocks and a filthy table covered in maker prints that looks like it has not been cleaned in years? No one has spoken up about this from my customer demgraphic, so I am saying it: if I have to wait an hour for service with children, those needs should be met if Jimmy Jones staff is devoted to customer service. It wont take a lot, but, as a start, you do have to care and be regularly attentive to the area.

Tried to buy a used jeep from this dealership from out of state. Lined it up for them to take it over to mechanic for inspection and verbally agreed to buy it subject to inspection. They told me they would take it over to mechanic that morning, but texted me later on to let me know that they didnt take it to mechanic but sold it to someone else instead. Wouldnt call me back, only text. Very poor experience. Communication and customer service appears to be at an all time low. Its sad.
The folks here went absolutely above and beyond for my family today, helping us out after our vehicle stranded us on the side of the interstate. Everyone from the service department was awesome getting us from the highway and then back onto the road, and the sales staff were super accommodating as we waited (with two kids).

I visited this car dealership last Saturday to test a 2010 Rx350 Lexus. The salesperson Connie was friendly answered questions I had;, we took it on a test drive ;came back to the dealership. She got financial information, credit score, etc. Then said Ms. Brown how you like the 2012. I said 2012, no I told Jasmine car guru had a 2010 at this location, so therefore I scheduled the test drive. Connie read the text confirming I said 2010 Lexus Rx350. Then I said thats why its 20k;she said that Car Guru made a listing mistake. I thanked her shook her hand, after she tried to convince me to get a RAV4 for 6mos.trade it on the Lexus. Still shaking my head. 😞

Great service here! Folks, if you ever decide to do business here ask for Tyone. He sold me a particular car ive been trying to hunt down for months. My family and I went in and was expecting the typical salesman manipulation but Tyrone proved me wrong. He gave me an offer I couldnt refuse. But check this out, I couldnt pick up the car until 2 days (due to lack of paperwork on my end). He even offered to put the vehicle on hold for me free of charge. Long story short 2 days later I went back to pick up the car and they had it detailed from bumper to bumper. Ready to go. Greatest experience yet. If you want a honest dealership with honest people, this is the place to go. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with a salesman who tries really hard to sell you the whole dealership inventory and go here. You wont be disappointed. Just ask for Tyrone.
