Update:Electronic components no matter how big or small cannot be returned if installed. Purchased part of ignition switch. Went home and discovered that my car a cylinder instead of the switch. So went back to the store and they would not exchange or credit it to new parts. It definitely one of those clerk calls and they decided to stick to the letter of policy so I can’t be upset at them for that but I’ll definitely remember that when I’m considering buying parts from Carquest again.It was really very nice to see an old school auto parts store where machine shop services are still offered but they are not on site.

This is the go to auto parts store in this area. Always willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Had to pull out the books for me today and do some digging to find me a sensor with slightly different specs than the OEM one. Much appreciated . The near by so called competition (shares its name with popular pompus city in CAs wine country) said all they could do was give the part that is specific to my vehicle.Didnt even attempt to help me. Not sure why I even went there in the first place, I know better.Any way, dont waste your time with unhelpful others in the area. Just go to Car Quest first, they will get you what you need for sure.

Okay place to get parts but make sure to know your details of your vehicle before arriving. One clerk was annoying in that they were answering the phone while customers were at the register and had to engage in conversation with all customers visiting the store.

These people really know there stuff. They know what they have in stock and where its located without having to get a computer.

Been here twice in the past week as they have some obscure VW parts that Ive needed that no one else stocks, or even knows what Im talking about. Employees are very knowledgeable and polite. Even if they dont have a certain item they can get it in a day. Prices are great and they were open on Labor Day. Guys might be my new go to parts store from now on.

They helped me with hard to find wipers for my car and even put them on for me.

I have a 03 jetta 1.8t and parts are a B!¥C# to find but here at car quest is always able to get them in stock if not the same day, within 4 days of order.

They crew here is knowledgeable and very helpful

Usually have what i need for my DIY autorepair

ScamThey sell D2s and D2r headlight bulbs for over $100, each, and downsell another brand for $65 each. For bulbs I get a pair for on Amazon for $10. But if you take your car to a mechanic, the mechanic charges $110 for labor, and doubles the price in parts. So to change a pair of $5 bulbs will cost well over $300.
