As always, a pleasant & rewarding visit to one of my favorite places to shop. I love the constant new merchandise & the beautiful, charming seasonal items to decorate & provide children arts & crafts activities. Im a scrapbooker & sticker fanatic, any papercrafting. The best thing about Michaels are the percentage off coupons, combined with the Rewards Program, plus sale items. I have purchased $40 worth of merchandise that after having the percentage off applied, plus a $5 or $10 earned reward as well, my final total was $3!! Three dollars paid for $40 worth of goods. These are always available here. The store clerks are helpful, cheerful & many are quite knowledgeable about arts & crafts projects. I love Michaels & usually either shop or just browse weekly.

Best place to get large discounted candles. Store us well organized, and inventory regularly rotates between seasons/holidays

5 stars excluding the Clackamas location. Im known by first name in every location in a 25 mile radius. Im a frequent shopper :) sometimes I just come in to plan out what the kids and I are going to do next. I dred going to the Clackamas location now. It truly is disheartening especially B/C its less then a mile from my house. The issue is I believe its the manager and sometimes one other gal (other then that the employees are awesome) but they give me looks my friends who I have gone shopping with have said they heard them talking about me.ill have a decent time until one of these gals sees me. Then everyone who is on shift their attitudes and customer service change. They call over the intercom LP sheriffs on hold... To the point I brought it up to them as I was checking out almost $200 Im so uncomfortable going into this location I dont even bring my purse in anymore, or my kids. Ill bring what cash I have on me or my card and anymore make it quickly as possible. I love wouldnt shop here at all however we only have one vehicle in our family and so being able to get to other locations sometimes just isnt doable.

Customer service is so important to a successful business. Unfortunately, the young woman working register 1 at 5:45pm on 12/7 needs some training. As the picture shows, this location curbside is available until 6pm. As the time shows, I was there well before (as I took this picture after leaving the store having waited in line for 15 minutes). She argued that their curbside closes at 5:30 even after being shown the times online. The problem? I ordered so I wouldn’t have to wait in line, which I ended up doing. All it would have taken is for her to acknowledge that the website is wrong or they aren’t honoring those hours. An apology and promise to take it up with management so it doesn’t happen to others would have been perfect customer service. Instead, she yelled “have a nice night” and called the next customer. So, I’m posting this so you know the hours are wrong or the store staff does not want to go outside when it’s cold. The one star is to reflect that not only is the staff poorly trained, but that at this time when curbside is so important for so many various reasons, the company should be making sure its accurately reflected online so as not to waste our time.

Wow, awesome christmas deals at Michaels today! Looks like they will be happening again the week of 12/1 thru 12/7. I bought a lovely wreath and hanger for under $40. :-)

I had searched high and low for a certain item. Couldnt find it anywhere even though I know they carry it. No clerks on the floor to ask. I gave up and went to check out the items I did find. Check out clerk asked me if I found everything I needed. Told her what happened, that I couldnt find the area that would display the sought after item, expecting her to direct me where to locate it and her response was Thats too bad.

Love this store! I just started painting and getting getting all my supplies here! Everyone is always so nice even though they have been super busy. The manager there, Carrie, is awesome and the attitude of her employees shows she provides great leadership!

Anyone who enjoys crafting will find what they need here. Friendly and helpful staff makes finding what you need easy.

Line was about 60 people long, one cashier and no associates on the floor to help customers, we ended up leaving our stuff and went to Woodburn coastal, much better

I would give more stars but parking is awful at this location. As well as the check out clerk literally rolled her eyes and appeared put out at me using my rewards and requesting a price match. I shop here a lot but that last experience will probably make me want to shop elsewhere.

There are always great coupons and sale items so it makes things more affordable. My kids LOVE going here for art supplies and often ask me to put things on their Christmas list as we discover new supplies and projects they want to do. I typically arrive with a list of 2-3 things and then walk out with 10+ things that caught my eye.

Overpriced as all Michaels are but they always have coupons and sales so make sure to take advantage of that. Selection was good and staff was rather friendly if a bit concise.

Smaller than the Michaels Im used to but great selection and prices. And theyre already putting up Halloween stuff! My favorite holiday! Nice clearance section and frame department. Not much though in way of watercolors. It was actually A VERY small selection which was what I was looking for. Hence the 4 stars. Nice people, military discount (thank you!) and convenient location.

I LOVE this Michaels out of the three near me. They tend to have a better selection. Their Bernat blanket yarn has really dwindled in stock, but I go to Joanns for that now. Otherwise, Michaels in generally my go-to and they ALWAYS have coupons through their app! Gotta love savings!

I appreciate the wide variety of arts and crafts supplies. The regular prices are a bit high, but shopping here is much more doable with coupons and sales. Last time i was there (just after Christmas) they had a lot of stuff on clearance for super cheap. ✌️🖤

One of the most incredibly organized Michaels I have ever been in in my life. So organized I was actually confused. But nonetheless very clean and the managers and staff do an excellent job and taking care of this store. I would rate it a plus.

Fair prices on a large selection of crafting items. But they dont have everything. Staff is friendly and helpful, but sometimes its hard to find one working the floor. All in all its a craft store for the average crafter.

I come to this Michaels almost weekly for craft supplies. I love the selection in the usually have a sale going on that changes every now and then which is awesome. The only thing that stinks is I noticed at all of the Michael’s locations, is that their rewards program gives you no benefit at the store which stinks. Other than that I love Michael’s prices, the environment, and the employees are very helpful.

I have been in several times on Tuesday afternoons around 3pm. There was really no one to help me, there was a blonde lady from the aaron brothers framing that was obviously very busy as she was the only one in the store to help customers in store and at her shop. They really need to have more than 2 people in the whole store. In the end I got the help I needed from the lady in the frame shop, Stacey although she was obviously overwhelmed with all the other customers who also needed help, she was very polite and knowledgeable. People like her will keep me coming back another time. Thank you for your great customer service.

Michaels is my go to place for crafting supplies, home decor & scrapbooking. They also do a great job in their custom framing department. I had a poster custom framed & Serena helped me put together just what I had in mind & even gave me her 50% discount because I didnt have a coupon. Thats what I call good customer service!

I love arts and crafts, even though I cant seem to make time to ever do any.. But since the intention is there I love to shop for supplies that may or may not get used, so of course I love Michaels. It must be because its one of the only craft stores readily available, except for Joannes, but they are expensive! It baffles me the difference between their prices and the price of the same item but online. If only people knew?? So dont be fooled by their sales or coupons, but still take advantage of them because then youre getting the items at a more regular price.

The staff were not very helpful here.. the store was a bit unorganized. I dont usually leave bad reviews, but I really felt like I wasted my time going here.

Great place for ideas and crafting supplies. I could spend all day there, preparing for a project but getting sidetracked into seeing other things I want to create. Ideas are endless. I always find what I need, and its either on sale or a coupon will apply.

I had one of the best customer experiences i have ever had at this store. Tim in the framing departments helped me so much. I had a last minute project I was really struggling with, he spent so much time helping me execute my vision. He went above and beyond. This store has a great selection of frames and framing options. I highly recommend this store and Tim in the framing area.

This store has a fun staff thay doesnt get mad at a child enthusiasm for the Halloween section. They let people and kids look and be happy. The cashiers are extremely friendly!

Went here over the weekend with my boyfriend looking for beads and jewelry making supplies to create Indian/ Bollywood inspired pieces. They had just enough of this kind of thing to fulfill our needs in one spot but we also caught a sale that dropped the prices dramatically. It was so great I decided to buy them out of one the styles of beads that I needed.

Always fast friendly service, also usually find surprise discounts

They had nothing on the shelves! No Halloween decorations, no acrylic paints, no picture frames...nothing I needed. Very sad

If you love doing arts and crafts Michaels is really a great place to go! They carry a very large variety of different crafts and art projects and supplies. IT seems like no matter how many times I go in, Im always finding things that I never even knew They Carried! They always have good sales and coupons. Plus they take competitors coupons. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable, and they do their best to make sure that you leave that store happy if you cant find something theyll help you find it! And it seems like no matter how long the checkout lines are and how tired the cashiers are there still just the nicest sweetest people!

Picture frames, cake decorating items, stamping and scrapbooking items, flowers,beads,wedding ideas and items, holiday items some yarn, some embroidery thread, and very little crochet thread. They are carrying less each year of yarn and embroidery and crochet thread.

I love this store. I feel zen walking in. The line always has a wait, though. And they pulled one of the items I used to always buy-small jewelry boxes. Otherwise Id give it 5.

I have never had a great experience at this store. The store has very high staff turn over. Tonight the cashier was passive aggressive, she was just nice enough, but she obviously hates her job. Not my problem, you have a job because I am a customer. Just saying

Only thing I hate is that they wont allow coupons towards cricut items. I could understand the cricut machine, but the tools and accessories would be nice. Most the stuff is on sale there too, so it wont allow a coupon due to that.

I get dragged here from time to time to fulfill my husbandly responsibilities. Im open to liking it...I even try... I just have a difficult time quieting the screaming voices in my head commanding me to get out. Its a battle of trying to fit in while sporting a lunatics grin that reveals the true terror inside. Ill give er a 3 as it seems like my wife enjoys herself which is probably equal parts finding what she wants and knowing the permanent damage she is causing to me.

Went in on a Saturday for custom framing @ 7:45 (store hours posted to 11:00 pm) to be told by the young associate behind the counter that she was closing in 15 minutes and would not be able to help us. I explained that I wanted to use a 70% coupon and that today was the last day. She told me that there was another sale starting Sunday, and athough not as good a deal it was close. She did allow me to look at frames and mats, as long as I put them away!I returned to the same store on Monday, was greeted by 3 friendly associates. Was allowed the 70% off discount, and will be picking my art up on the 17th.!

Sales associate was talking with a friend that had already been helped. I asked for help locating certain craft items, she looked at me, put her finger up to shh me And continued to chit chat with her buddy. I walked away in disbelief in search of the items related to my visit.Disappointed in the sales associates customer service skills. She was an older woman, 55-60, assumed she would be seasoned.. I thought wrong.
