As a customer of Joanne’s in Oregon City, Oregon I loved the people and the store and always said I would love to work there some day. Well, I am working there now and it’s more wonderful than I could have ever dreamed. Excellent product, staff, management and customers. Every day is interesting. Great sales and everything you need to be creative. This is a photo of me going to my interview in June. God is good.

Crafts arent my thing, but I can tell this is a very well put together, and very helpful store. My girlfriend loves coming here, and would rather shop at this store over any other crafts store. And as far as I can tell, VERY fair pricing. Would recommend for crafty or uncrafty people.

Lots of neat items and choices for a variety of interests whether young or old. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and always says Welcome to Joanns, when you come through the front door.

Amazing shop for everyone big and small. Very impressive

Ive lived in Oregon City for 11 years. Somehow, Id never been into Jo-Ann until yesterday. I had 3 of my kids with me, so they could find stuff to do. My 4 year old was very indecisive, and eventually began throwing a fit when I wouldnt buy him the whole store. So, being the mom that I am, I ignored him after repeated requests to calm down failed. He was definitely not happy about this, and began screaming loudly. Well, being that I had two other children with me that didnt deserve to lose their shopping trip because their little brother couldnt keep his emotions under wraps, I went straight to checkout with the items the other kiddos had picked out. The gal at checkout was very understanding and rang us up as quickly as she could so I could get the little guy out of the store. I had her put the fleece hed chosen to make a blanket out of back, I was not going to reward him for his behavior by buying it.Turns out in my haste to get out, I accidentally left some modeling clay my other kiddo had purchased sitting on the counter. I called when I got home and they set it in the back for me. I went today to pick the clay, and some other items up, and was very warmly helped with everything. I was even informed of text message coupons and saved a lot of money (shame I wasnt able to discuss that yesterday, lol).I will definitely be returning to this Jo-Ann! The store is clean, well organized, and the staff are all very friendly.

Im a guy from my opinion is very sketchy when it comes to talking about fabric stores since this is the third time I think in my entire life Ive ever been in one. With that being said I thought it was totally cool and its amazing how the patrons of this store know exactly what theyre doing. Its like putting me in an automobile mechanic shop I have no idea what theyre doing but its so cool to watch. We were looking for some fabric to replace a chair cushion off an antique chair that we had found flea marketing. they had so many choices and had so many different styles of fabric I was just blown away. The ladies that work there are so nice and patient and kind. They put up with my stupid questions with a smile. Had a wonderful time.

This is always so clean compared to other Joann Fabric store. The staff is friendly and always available to help. The isles are wide. I love this JoAnns.

Lots of fabrics for cosplay, like chainmail, metal studs mermaid scales. There are always sales going on too. Pretty good selection of beads for jewelry. Spray paint section is a bit lacking. Standard Krylon and Rust-oleum, No Montana branded paint cans or pens. Pretty good selection of zippers, thread, flowers, buttons and tools. Bathrooms, at least the mens restroom was clean, well stocked and handicapped accessible, with several bars to hold onto. Its located in the back left corner behind the cutting counter. I thought that would be pertinent information since its hard not to stay here for a long time. ^_^

Found what I needed right away. The store is laid out very well, clean and organized. Its not everyday you need 6 sets of 14 inch knitting needles but they had them and I was able to finish my project.

Helpful staff. Even a cheerful doorman who opens and holds the door for you. Love the stores hospitality.

Nice and quiet, lots of fabric choices

My daughter and I kicked off the Christmas season shopping for decorations and discovered Door Buster Deals! The quality of what I purchased was top notch for the low price. I am now shopping for more online. Oh geez... dont tell my husband.

Extremely long line for cutting, even longer wait to pay. Many items missing, no apparent regard for the 25 customer limit their sign said would help keep us safe. Couldnt find several items, nor any employees that could tell me where anything might be. Bad experience, but hey, got a 50% of coupon for my next trip. Probably not worth it, even with a discount. They have and add out inclusive of Halloween decor, but they almost nothing out. Shelves are bare.... I have gone back twice hoping they may just be behind in stocking.. Well no luck the second time either..

I buy my blanket yarn here and love their selection the majority of the time. The people working there, aside from two at the registers, are rude and unhelpful. Just dont expect service with a smile or to be asked if youd like help. It shouldnt be that hard to perform your job. I usually buy online and pick up in store so I dont have to deal with them.

Excellent customer service

This is the place where I found myself disappointed at the register. It took me a while to locate zipper-related things. Eventually I found some, though not quite what I was looking for. Then eventually I found some more. They dont actually carry what I want, but I could settle for another item thatll at least get the job done -- as long as Im willing to pay 6x actual cost. (I have a hard time paying more than 3x actual cost.)Or: then I found a whole zipper repair kit, which also did not contain the item I wanted, but in this case, it costed a couple dollars less than the other option I could have settled for, plus it came with extras that could save me from future hassles! Or so I thought. The peg I pulled said zipper repair kit from, had a few of the same item on it, but either 1: those items were on the wrong peg, or 2: the price on the peg/tag was mismarked. 🤷🏾‍♀️

As a person of color, i felt unwelcome. People of color are just humans like you.One lady helped me really fast to find what i was looking for and was really nice. The one at the checkout kept looking at me and was very scared. The other lady was just freaking out. I felt like you bought it please leave. Bad experience. We all matter. With love

JoAnns is a great place to go for craft supplies. They have a really big selection, and the prices are reasonable. Ive found quite a few things on clearance here that were exceptional deals. Plus the employees have always been professional, friendly and helpful.

I just wish they would put the pens up by the counter instead of having them locked up because it takes an eternity to get help with them.Updated review: Joanns has made a few changes to the app and coupon policies. This place used to let me use multiple coupons from the app and then they would let my husband use the same ones on a single transaction. Now only one coupon per transaction 😔 missing the joanns from before covid

Seemed to be pretty low in stock of some essential items. Great customer service however, and excellent prices on a substantial clearance section.

This store has the best cotton and knit fabric selection. We drive from Camas to shop here. Staff are friendly and the lines to get in are much faster than the bigger stores.

Oregon Citys Joannes Fabric Store is a smaller location so the selection is quite limited. However, staff is friendly, lines are short, and you can find parking at the front door.

What an incredible visual stimulating experience. I cant think of anything they dont have in there. I think they have just about anything you would want. I was actually like a kid in a candy store. I couldnt seem to get enough of the different products that they had available.

I am a novice with a sewing machine and the staff here has been so kind and helpful!

This store is always clean. MOST of the employees are very nice. And if you love to sew or do crafts or decorate I highly recommend coming to JoAnns store! They take competitors coupons and they always have fabulous coupons of their own and massive sales all the time! You can always find what youre looking for and way more! And if you do have a problem with a visit and you call about it they always do their best to figure out what happened and to fix it.

Picked up a few things for mold making

This fabric store contains many types of fabrics they have a wide selection of accessories they include seasonal items and some craft goodies they have some paint and other items for the artistic type they have lot of coupons almost all the time if you get on their list they will mail them to you and usually their checkout line is no more than about 5 minutes. The staff is friendly and you can get fabric cut pretty quickly but you might have to take a number. They also sell sewing machines and have sewing machine parts and accessories I was able to find a light bulb for a 40 year old singer.

Love this place. It is a little spendy though. I would recommend having a great coupon or wait for sales before buying anything. Also shop clearance only.

I wish the staff was a little nicer and a little more customer service forward. Its kind of on to the next with anyone who works there. But I love the specials they have!

Always has what I need for creative projects. The price of some items is a little on the high side but sometimes i cant wait a couple days for an online order to arrive so Im happy to pay for the convenience.

I would recommend shopping elsewhere. They had a sale on flannel that was posted to end on the 23rd, I went back in on the 22nd and they had already changed the price to a higher price - when I asked the someone who worked there she rudely told me that “sales change” and when I stated that it wasn’t supposed to change for another day she just walked off. Not a way to treat customers. Disappointing as I traveled up there just to get more of that fabric.

Our all-crafting, all-quilting American friend wanted to stop by here for something and to show us what a real fabric shop was all about. Its certainly massive and incredibly well stocked and with very helpful staff. Going on what our friend has said about it I can only give it five stars ;-)

The only negative is the high prices, but the deals make a lot of things worth it. Love the options, and they always have something that I dont need, but have to have. They also have wonderful workers that help and all have smiles on their faces.

This location is clean and well organized. The employees are always happy to help me find things and the girls at the cutting table make sure to cut the fabric accurately. They have a great selection of baby fabrics too!

Im not a crafty person but this store is laid out so that even I could find the area I needed. I feel like the store (as with all other craft stores Ive been to) is a bit cluttered and under staffed for the services they are trying to provide, cloth cutting, measuring, teaching, etc. That the overall Customer service experience can be a little lacking. It took a while to check out, with 2 registers opened. they were each having an issue of some sort, needing money for change, a Customer they couldnt keep focused on their transition to keep the line moving, waiting for someone else to come up and help them) I will definitely go back when I have those rare, specific needs.
