This is a model business in which all businesses should follow. Ive been coming here for years. They are fast, inexpensive, and respectful. Recently I was inconvenienced by finding out they closed for a week, but you know what; they did it to give their employees a break and Im 100% behind that decision. In fact Ive seen numerous times now how this business values and protects their employees. That is extremely refreshing to see in this modern world where most employers could not care less about their workers. Not only that, but I am extremely grateful they went to great lengths to prevent covid transmission not only early in the pandemic but continuing to do so up to this day. Having a few nagging customers is worth preventing the spread of a deadly infection in my opinion, so theyve done everything right. I have great respect for this landscaping company and its owners based off my experience over the years. Keep up the great work!

The people are ok, business ok, product bad.Don’t order 3/4 minus because most of what you get will be dust. They sell someone else’s product and don’t care.Be skeptical of all products from this business.You may have to go in person to the pile to get a valid product.

I am so sad to hear the new policy of no help to load. I arrived with a 5 gallon bucket to pick up some pea gravel. I understand the change if that had been a safety issue with people walking behind equipment. But to no have anyone help me load up two 50 lbs bags of it? How do you get Covid from that? Ive bought loads of rock from them for years. Literally 100s of lbs. I expected better.

I am 73 yrs old woman. I needed 4 bags of rainbow rocks I backed my car up right in front of rocks and opened back end so they could put in car and I told them I would step aside. The guy said no due to Covid. REALLY!!! I thought this no in very poor service of clackmas landscape a very poor excuse when no human contact and that person would not be in my car just putting bag in open air back end. Clackamas you screwed up this time and I have been a customer for years way to treat your return customers.

Wow, what a great company and team. Specifically, I ordered for delivery rock and bark. Required the delivery driver to have a flexible approach with multiple drop spots. The have consistently great product and friendly employees. Its easy to walk around and check out their variety of landscape products. We bought patio stone for our whole front walkway for $250ish, and the stone is fantastic quality and durability. Its nice that they offer options for completely do-it-yourself, load into your own vehicle... or if you want a lot of assistance they offer that as well. Great place.

Work regularly brings me to landscape suppliers all across the metro area. This one is by far the best. Excellent product. The 4 way soil mix is noticeably higher quality than others Ive seen. You can even smell the difference. The staff is very helpful. Really appreciate this business.

The long and wet winter washed out my gravel driveway, which is quite long. Needing gravel, I went to this company and placed an order. At that time I was told that the gravel would be delivered in the next few days. If there was a problem they would call me. After a week, no delivery. I called and left a message. No reply. Another week, no delivery. I called again, twice. No reply. Almost another week. I called, no reply. Finally, I went to the company office and asked what was the problem. At that time I was told the order was too big, even though this was not mentioned when placing it. Maybe if I wait another month, they might have another truck and could possibly deliver, maybe. If asked if they wanted me to go to their competition I was told yes. This company obviously doesnt care about their customers. My driveway is gone. I can understand if a business is unable to do a job, but other businesses that I have dealt with say this upfront and then refer me to someone else. To sell the service and then dont call or return calls for weeks is unacceptable. I will not use this company ever again and will let all of my associates know how customers are treated.

The people who work at Clackamas Landscape supply always prove helpful. Their high-quality materials always display a competitive price, lower than big box home improvement stores in many cases. Ive bought basaltic gravel 1/4 No. 10 (sometimes in buckets, and sometimes by the cubic yard, delivered to my driveway), decorative rocks, cement garden stepping stones, and basaltic stones to edge my garden paths. In every case, Ive been delighted with my purchases, and the price is right. My wife and I will go there again today to look for decorative rocks for the garden. This is a great place to shop!

Didnt seem first time landscaper friendly. But thats my opinion, the facts are, the delivery was 45 minutes late, past the one hour delivery window. When you have workers waiting, labor adds up. The only question I had, was if they would waive the delivery fee of $40. The Manager stated he could not do that and they are usually within the 1 hour window. He was sorry.

I have had a great experience with this company delivering products all the way across to West Slope. Staff were great, prices great and quality excellent. i got 3.5 tonne of tumbled bluestone delivered and because of proximity went to a more local supply company to get the last tonne i needed to finish the job - the quality of the other company product was dreadful, wont make the same mistake twice and will go all across town for these guys.

Over the years Ive used Clackamas Landscape supply for dirt, mulch, gravel, sand, even pavers and retaining wall blocks. Theyve always been friendly and curtious. Ive used them for Delivery and also picked up. They arrive on time for delivery and are gentle on my equipment when I pick up at their yard.

Decent prices .Very very poor customer service. Will not be returning unless its then only available option for stone. Recomend canby landscape supplies, mt Scott fuel I believe it might be called, Portland rock & landscape supplies .

Late and pissed offI called and ordered a delivering like I had in the past. The person who took the order gave us an hour window 1:30 - 2:30 PM. My wife stayed home and at three called to find out that the delivery wasnt scheduled but they would come asap. my wifed called when he arrived and said the total was different than I told her. The driver who was actually the owner stated that is what I ordered and I said it wasnt. I then told him was it the same person who forgot to schedule the delivery maybe this was another mistake. He was very unhappy and said he could take it back it I didnt want it. I said take it back and I would find someone else. He said OK! Another company delivered it correct and on time the next day. They just lost me as a customer.

Great information given for my lawn project.

I am a landscape contractor and have used many of the local landscape supply yards and most of them have great customer service but not these guys, apparently us shopping there and purchasing their product is a huge inconvenience to them.We have used them 3 times now because they were the only place we could find that carried the product we needed without driving way across town. They have been very rude to me and my employees every time we have been in there.In addition the first time we used them they loaded a full pallet of step stone on the truck and we found that the bottom 20% of the stone was basically shattered and unusable, we were able to make it work but it was more work trying to find the right pieces.The last time we used them we told them how many pavers we needed, you would figure the forklift operator would know how many pavers are on a pallet but he only loaded half the order. Maybe my employee should have counted them but the supplier should know more about the product they sell and how many are on a pallet and should have loaded the proper amount. I ended up having to pay one of my guys to make another trip down there and they basically played it off as though it was completely our fault. When I called to inform them about the fact that we didnt get all the stones they asked if my employee didnt speak very good English...he has red hair and English is his first language.Basically if you go here inspect the product on any pallets you order and dont expect friendly service, expect them to be rude and condescending instead.

After shopping around I found their prices are not very competitive with the other landscape supply businesses in the area. Super busy and crowded, hard to get an idea of what I want when I cant look at the product

If the love of money is truly the root of all evil, this place must be the devil himself.Yes, Im ranting again about businesses being more concerned with making a buck than decent customer service.So usually I get my gravel for my landscaping project in Hillsboro. I take my suv, have my home depot buckets and a shovel, and get a 1/4 yard each time as I work very close to the place. No big deal. THEY even have sold it to me by the bucket. It costs more, but really was no big deal as I would be coming back for more.At Clackamas Landscape, I go in with my buckets and shovel and say Id like a 1/4 yard of the quarter 10 gravel. Nope! You have to buy a half or whole yard. No reason, other gravel you can buy for a 1/4 yard at a time, not the gravel you want. Excuse me, its BULK! Its not like its packaged!Ok, Ill play their game. Ill get a half yard and make two trips. Nope! Have to take it all the first time. Why, I try to ask politely - but obviously a little annoyed. Its policy. What, its policy to piss off your customers?F them! Ill keep going to Best Buy in Town Landscape Supply where 1. Theyre friendly and 2. Theyre customer service oriented. Even though the suv sucks up gas, its not that much more then driving to this place.So probably not caring that theyve lost my business, theyll continue to try and gouge customers as they try and keep open. It probably wont be for long if they keep this attitude up.
