We had a wonderful experience with Flooring of America. They went out of their way to explain the different type of carpets available and went above and beyond to secure the carpet we liked and installed it in a very tight time frame. The installers also did a fantastic job on the install. The team worked hard and managed to remove and install 1400 square feet of carpet in 1 day. They cleaned up afterwards and took all the old carpet with them. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic new carpet experience with the group at Flooring America of Oregon. The Oregon City showroom has it all and the staff is ready to help answer all your questions. The in home consult and measurement was professionally and quickly accomplished by Tyler and I was set to have the entire homes carpet re-done. I returned to Flooring of America to complete a project I started last year. I was really pleased with the quality of the laminate that looked like Carrara marble, so ordered more, but because of the shipping delays due to the pandemic I had to wait longer than expected, but this was not a problem for me. The sales rep, Courtney, was very solicitous, sent me periodic updates, and couldnt have been kinder. In the end my tiles arrived several weeks earlier than expected, and the other sales reps who assisted me when I picked up my order were also very helpful. I definitely would return to Flooring America where the personal attention and quality of product were excellent.

There was one little miscommunication in the installation process and the rep Tyler took care of it! To say I was surprised is an understatement. We just got acacia wood topped floors done on our stairs and hallway. It was important that they matched the solid acacia floors that were already on the lower level. Fast and a great job

We search locally, tested Flooring America by starting with a small purchase of vinyl. The customer service and attention to detail was very good. Then,we went back a few years later for a bid on a approx. $11,000 project. Again, the customer service; office, bid, skilled installers was very good. Our project looks architecturally pleasing and updates our 1980 ranch. We love it.

We had carpet installed through Flooring America of Oregon Dec 2018 - Jan 2019. The overall process was relatively stress free and pretty straight forward. We worked with Tyler, he came over to take the measurements and he was quick to respond whenever we emailed him with a question or problem. He wasnt there when we went to the store to pick out carpet but the lady from the front desk was very helpful and spent a lot of time with us going over the options. I thought that the prices where pretty high but they do have high quality carpet and lots of sales. We got our low pile thick carpet on sale and we are very happy with it. Dawn (if I remember correctly) from scheduling was very helpful also, she worked around our schedule to figure out the install dates. The installers arrived promptly at the same time each day (it took two days) and were very polite and hard working. The whole process took about one month, and that was mostly because we had to push off the install date by a week or so because we were travelling. One thing that could be improved is the way they give you the quote for the job. I wish it was more detailed, as in how many square feet for each type of carpet, how many stairs etc. Overall we have no complaints yet, carpet looks good, everybody we interacted was very kind and helpful. Would recommend.

The team were able to refinish our entire house with carpet in one day- they worked hard, were courteous, cleaned up well and even made us some mats and runners with the leftover carpeting! Excellent communication throughout the process and looking forward to working with them again next year for kitchen and bathroom projects

What a wonderful company! I looked at other reviews and call another company in Beaverton, all I can say was they were horrible. I had to keep calling them to get anything done. We only wanted our stairs carpeted so maybe it was too small of a job. This place was great, helped us pick out the best product for wear and though we had to wait for the carpet the installation was stellar. I will come back if I need anything else.

We have been working with Tyler for a few months now through our entire home remodel project. Flooring America of Oregon has not only saved us a lot of money but they have made sure all thier work was of the highest quality and done in a timely manner. We have used them to refinish the wood floors, install linoleum, install tile in our shower and kitchen and will use them to install our carpet. Tyler has been exceptionally helpful with giving input to us so that we could be our own General contractor. He knows a lot about the construction business and has always been timely and willing to respond when asked a question. His follow up is quick. We recommend checking this store out before heading to one of the big box stores for your remodel needs.

We wanted to get new carpet for all of our 2nd floor and 2 rooms on the 1st floor; quite a big project. We contacted Flooring America and their competitors, but Flooring America was easily the best to work with. Micah was very patient with us during our lengthy deliberations on shade and fiber type, allowing us to take multiple pattern swatches home and giving us the run of his showroom. Installation was excellent. Francisco (Frankie) and his son Carlos were superb in moving furniture, fixing floor squeaks and installing the new carpet, which looks great. They were very patient in answering my questions as I sought to learn a little about their skills. Dawn followed up on the installation to ensure we were happy with the outcome. One of our doors dragged on the pile of our new carpet and without hesitation she organized for Mike to come and fix the problem. The only other feedback that I would give F.A. is to let customers know what will happen if it is pouring with rain at the time of the installation, which was the case with us. We were lucky in that we had a large, uncluttered garage in which they could cut pieces from the huge roll of carpet, but what happens if there is no weather cover for the cutting processes? Overall, we were delighted with Flooring America. Their staff is very customer-focussed and really know their business. Thank you.

We used this company to replace our kitchen floor and two entry ways with new wood. The person who took our order sent in the wrong amount to the manufacturer, but it was caught and quickly corrected. The company was apologetic and the only problem causedwas to delay installation a few days. The installers, Jose, the chief installer was fantastic in terms of his friendliness, knowledge, willingness to answer question, attention to detail and getting a good install done on time. If I owned a company Id try to hire him away from them. They also replaced all the carpet in the house. A two day job. They had some trouble with the trucking company getting the carpet here on time and thus we were a few days late on the install, but other than that, we got an excellent install. Frankie, the primary installer had the same talents as Jose. I would also try to hire him away. All in all, we received excellent product and service from when we first entered the store to when they hauled the last of the replaced product away. There was never any sales pressure at purchase, only concern that we knew what we were getting and got what we wanted. They were at all times concerned that our goals were met and were willing to do whatever they could to make sure that happened. We give them the highest recommendation possible and will certainly use them again if needed.

We got several estimates for hardwood flooring and Flooring America of Oregon was the best! The price was CONSIDERABLY less, and even better, the service was PHENOMENAL! Have had our carpet in for 2 years now and still love it! The installer did a great job and the quality is excellent. We got a Golden Retriever about 6 months after having carpet installed. Still no stains or spots!!!! The carpet was by Shaw and is a brown fleck with a higher pile. We did have to get a new vacuum cleaner that could be set for higher carpets but it was worth it!!!

I researched quite a few local flooring businesses and also had Home Depot come in to do an estimate on installing engineered hardwood in our home (second story). Several of the local businesses made it difficult to even schedule an in-home estimate (they wanted me to come into the store first to view their products). I was moving here from out of state so each step in the process had to be accomplished on a tight time frame. When I called Flooring America in Oregon City, they quickly understood my time pressure and immediately scheduled to have someone come to my new house and provide an estimate. Caleb arrived and offered services far beyond the estimate. He immediately offered to take responsibility for finding a good match to the downstairs wood flooring we already had in place. Over the days and weeks that followed, I received multiple estimates from businesses, including Home Depot. The first Flooring America estimate was too high for our budget, but that did not stop Caleb from continuing to work with me until we had a product and plan that worked for us.By the time I received all the estimates, it didnt matter whether a competing business offered a better deal. It was obvious that the most professional, customer service-oriented company was Flooring America in Oregon City. I trusted that they would do the best job and provide us with an outstanding wood floor. (I had expected at least a reasonable estimate from Home Depot but they were actually very high and a total headache to work with.) Flooring America in Oregon City installed the flooring while I was still out of state, which reflects the degree of trust I had in them. My daughter was able to check on the installation and she was impressed by the quality of the people involved as well as the work they did. The wood floors are beautiful. At each step, any question or concern (however small) was addressed immediately and with friendly, reliable responsiveness. I had some issues with the structure in my house that were revealed after demo of my old hardwoods, and they even helped resolve that! After my call they were out to take a look in a half hour. Pros...... the price / the people (Jake as well as Thomas and his crew were wonderful) / the quality of the carpet (just put in - so Im anticipating the quality it looks and feels like) / the care given to my home during installation / the scheduling / all communication ..... there was zero room for improvement - it was fabulouscons..... they ordered the wrong carpet - but it was another color I had been considering and they did give me the option to reorder or take a discount / the need to purchase a new vacuum because my dyson doesnt work on soft touch carpet (which I didnt know prior to installation)overall - I would use and highly recommend Flooring America. Having not purchased carpet in 17 years the experience was good. The one thing to remember is to check on warrantys (required care and vacuums) and double and triple check the order before installation :)

I usually dont like to do business with large chains, but knowing that the store is individually owned is the best of both worlds because you still get the warranty of a large company that is likely to be around a long time as well as knowing my money is primarily staying local.

Flooring America was wonderful from beginning to end. The salesman had a great knowledge of carpets and was able to give us a good value and good advice about what to choose for our project. The scheduling people were helpful and friendly and the installer did a wonderful job! I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

We have had Flooring of America do a couple small jobs, with great satisfaction. So when we decided to remodel, our first choice was Flooring America. We remodeled two bathrooms, resurfaced our hardwood floors, and installed new carpeting. Very easy to get in touch with staff, They scheduled everything in the order to be done and were punctual. Installers who did the work were efficient and courteous. We had one little problem, which was really no ones fault. It was brought to their attention and it was resolved immediately. I would certainly do business with them in the future. Just hope we dont have to ever remodel again.

The work was done quickly but very professionally with good attention to detail. The quality of the linoleum tile is excellent and the finished floor is stunning. We are very pleased.

Our job was a new kitchen vinyl and a flight of stairs to be carpeted. We were very pleased with the products we chose from Flooring America and particularly pleased with the installers. There was unexpected sub flooring that needed to be replaced but these two men rose to the challenge and completed the work in one day. My only reservation is the length of time to get the flooring from the manufacturer, it was over a month.

We are very happy with our new kitchen floor from Flooring America. They have a good selection of quality flooring with knowledge and helpful recommendations. The installers were challenged a bit because they had never installed the 18.5 x 24 size Coretec Plus Large Tile Flooring before.

I made an apointment to have my home bid for carpet install. The day before my appointment I received a voicemail saying they were wondering if they could move up my apointment to that day because it would be easier for their tech but if that did not work for me it was okay. The day of my appointment I received a missed call from them but no voice mail. I work the night shift and do not answer my phone while sleeping during the day. The tech never showed up for my apointment. This is so unprofessional and a huge pet peeve of mine. I dont understand why it is so hard to do what you have committed to.
