They dont care for their employees or staff by not enforcing masks. As someone recently through chemo I will NEVER return to this store. Was told by an employee when asked thats its their policy to not enforce.
Do not. I repeat DO NOT order your cake here if you want any kind of decorations... They did an absolute terrible job with decorating my sons first birthday cake. I even gave them a detailed picture of exactly how I wanted the cake to look and it looks nothing like what I wanted.
We go to Fred Meyer about every 5 to 7 says. The U usually have everything Im looking for. KITCHEN was very crowded during this visit, but the lines moved quickly & the Cashier & the Bagger, were very helpful, kind & informative.I am a fan of their Kroger products & everyday low prices.I recommend Fred Meyer to anyone on a tight budget.
Sloppily run store: associates try, but some are rude (e.g., seafood counter), and quality of products (especially seafood) is very poor. Multiple customers also do not adhere to wearing masks or wearing them correctly. I recommend shopping elsewhere to get a safer experience and purchase higher quality products (unless you like hanging out with rednecks).
Used to love it. Now they never have enough checkers. They expect you to do it yourself which I don’t mind for small trips. But when I have a full cart and the only have two out of 14 lanes open with lines 6 deep it makes me mad.
I moved to Oregon five years ago, and since then I’ve shopped predominately at Freddys. I liked their prices, I liked their coupons, I liked their service. I found the convenience of their option for “Click-it” very useful as I’m getting up there in age, and just don’t have the steam to walk down all the aisles. Since having hip surgery though, I’ve switched to home delivery. I am so disappointed with their home delivery option! Every order I have three or four out of stocks, or substitutions. Today I ordered seven things, and four things were either out of stock, or substituted. These aren’t odd things like kippered herring or stuffed avocados! They were every day items which I believe Freddy should stock on a regular basis. I don’t know whether staff shortages mean they’re not restocking shelves quickly enough, or they just don’t care. I’m thinking of switching to home delivery by Walmart, but I really don’t want to have to do that. Also, with home delivery I can’t use any of my coupons that they send me!! 😡If you want at Freddy’s is actually reading this, I just concerned about there customer service, I would actually like a phone call! I shop at the Oregon City store on Molalla Ave.
The pharmacy here is soooo slow. Perscription was ready no customers in line and they kept yelling me just a few more minutes and it ended up taking 40 mins. WhyYou had a horrible cashier named Erica who was a total snot and completely rude
Austin is such a helpful and patient employee I ask for help and he didn’t hesitate to help. Thank you for all your help printing pictures and finding ink for my printer I really appreciate the love you have for your job. This is the second time I have asked him for help and he always helps with respect and good attitude.
Very nice environment, very clean, the workers very helpful. Thank you
Absolute best customer service out of any store Ive been to in all 26 states Ive visited!
Go to Fred Meyers almost on a two-week basis to pick up the weekly groceries of the month Fred Meyers here in Oregon City got a pretty decent selection on most everything you would need for a daily household necessities did in the bathroom or in the kitchen or just something to decorate your house yeah they got it the bed expensive but if youre just looking for the basics they got you covered would recommend
Love fred meyers, you can pretty much buy anything here. This location is ok, but you do get panhandlers
I always have problems shopping on line. Always have to reset password. Can not call store, nobody will answer phone, goes straight to corp. And when I do manage to complete orders, they get delivered with food that is bad or about to go bad. I am home bound disabled. fred meyers is not a pleasant experience.
Horrible experience, never to shop there again! Customer Service - terrible.Prices on wine purchased by the case fluctuated from 70$ - 113$ thats extreme for 3 different cases purchased with 3 weeks time. And, where do they mention(in app) that they charge for online pickup orders?! I didnt even get a receipt showing my purchases much less any indication of additional fees.Ill stick with Safeway.
Great place to find anything from car to home to grocery all in one place.
Freddys is always great with selection of products but there is not enough cashiers to check out customers in a reasonable amount of time. I waited 10 minutes to check out about 20 items. It was longer than the time it took me to get my items.
Definitely a place to get the most bang for your buck! Only down side is they dont allow you to use credit card. Five stars though.
I went here to get some food for my family and your two workers, Jayden and Ava, were super helpful navigating through the store and assisting me and my brother and who is in a wheelchair. They were super respectful and helped find items through the store. Great customer service, 10/10
Fred Meyer has everything you need. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Store is clean and well laid out.
Always friendly staff, great deals, great customer service.
Good. Have everything we need.
If you have a disability or any kind of physical impairment, I highly discouraged attempting to shop here.Iif. The handicap parking is horrid and rarely on a Saturday will you find one available. This also holds true for the scooters. No help for visual impairment. No help with digital coupons.
Staff were very helpful
David in the Click List Department in Oregon city is fantastic. He has customer service completely dialed in! We love it when he is our person who brings the groceries out. Today, he and his manager Brandon went way above and beyond with service and we are grateful for them.
I have always liked this Fred Meyers. Had an unusual visit other day where the checker informed me that I have to bag my own groceries because I brought bags from home... New store policy, something about germs and my touching the bag (I also touched every single item in the cart but thank goodness those germs are benign). I then asked if there were any coupons that week that would work on my purchase, the checker answered not anymore, and followed up with something about how new store policy is they no longer provide coupons for customers at the counter.. germs again, lol. But good news while offering coupons at the counter and employing baggers Is to risky a venture, theres no reason to follow the 6 foot rule a fred meyers u scan because they installed a tiny plexi partition between the checkouts.
I went in looking for boots. It is the wrong time of year to look for leather knee high boots. They had a few pairs still all the wrong size of course:)
One stop shopping! What could be better!!?
Good friendly place
Its better than Walmart what else can I say.
Dont try ordering through their delivery, they delayed my 2 hour delivery multiple times and eventually marked it as completed when nothing was delivered. Its been 4 hours since the initial order and the only way I could find to even report that it hadnt been delivered was to rate the delivery so I could mark all items as missing. Customer service didnt answer my call, who knows if Ill get my money back. Now Im out that money and still have to go to a store for the groceries I was waiting 4 hours for. I get that theres a high order volume, but its one thing to keep pushing back delivery time and another to just mark the order complete and take money for it without actually delivering it.
They don’t update the map or the website and I find that the bulk of the time I’m looking for some thing it’s not where they say it is. They also just stopped carrying many products and want you to ship things to the store. This place is going downhill.
I have been to this location three times in the last two weeks and they are not enforcing mask or distancing restrictions. It seems like someone in management decided this is going to be the friendly store for people who care more about personal freedom than basic courtesy or epidemiology. Very disappointing.
Not impressed with Fred Meyer right now. I started going inside a local store and several employees were not wearing their masks properly (below their nose and some below their mouth). So no more going inside. I do appreciate the curbside pickup but it’s far from perfect. Today I got a salad kit with the bag open and the lettuce far from fresh. Trying to contact Fred Meyer has produced no results. It appears they don’t care about customer feedback.
Great service, clean store, good selection.
Dont order delivery from here. Overpriced and if it does not show up, dont expect a refund anytime soon. Its been 10 days and they still have my money. No money or food that day for my daughter. No help from customer service or a reply to multiple emails. Fred Meyer lost a long time loyal customer.
There were some good sales today. I fou d everything that I was looking for.
Store is always missing 1 or 2 items on my shopping list and the reorganization of the aisle stinks. I can find the organic items that I want.
I don’t think any store can beat Fred Meyer services. It’s clean and organized. I do not mind shopping here often and the attendants are very patient and honest. I recommend!!
So i always try to post good things but today when shopping I have never got treated so badly. The lady working the clothing side check out was massively rude. Then did top it off she told me to go take my clothing purchase to electronics and refused to help meFind the correct. Because a part over by the back side check outs kind of over by garden area and the childrens clothes I decided to use that check out which they had self service only. There is an older gentleman theyre trained to use the self checkout which he had never done before and instead of helping him she stood there and watched him struggled as a another customer then assisted him on self check out well she further Li continue to tell people that she was not checking out people it was self service only. Im absolutely appalled by how they treated their customer expressional I their older generation of customers that is completely unacceptable.
My favorite place to shop
Awful shopping experience. EVERYONE looked stressed and/or unhappy. Wow have they gone downhill in how they treat employees and how they treat US, the customer. Crowded store, only 3 human - operated checkouts open plus those so-called self check-outs which are not user-friendly. Long checkout lines at all locations, overworked employees trying their best to help in the self-checkout. In spite of that good customer service I actually felt abused by the corporate system that actually thinks that increasing this automation at the expense of the human touch is a good idea. I know what the real motivation for all this is = $$$ at both customer and employee expense. Employees seem to be asked to carry the load of bad decisions. A real shame. No longer a FM shopper. I will travel extra miles to avoid any Fred Meyer store.
It was amazing. Everything you are looking for is at the place. Crew works hard and they know where you can find all you need. Shopping could be stressful but at this place is not. Every event that you need to have or host this is the place where you need to go to make it happen. Also better go with a budget ready prices sometimes could be a little bit high
Full service grocery and clothing, garden, electronics, a little of everything.
Best all-in-one store there is. Low prices for high quality goods. The produce is the lowest of the grocery stores in Oregon City for the best quality. Great prices on Organic food. Clothing clearance sales are amazing, and they always have last seasons styles on clearance for less than half the original price! There are always shoes on clearance as well. Cant beat it!
Once again the people Are awesome. But like Safeway I dont like them keeping track of my purchases with their rewards card that I dont need. Im not feeling the reward... 🤔
The wait for Customer Service is always 15-30 minutes long & they always only have one person working the counter. I waited 15 minutes in line before being told I had to then wait for a PIC. Since then I have typed & will have probably posted this review long before I am helped. I come in at different days/times, twice a week to cash my checks & I can assure you this is a very regular experience. As I wrap this review up the PIC is still not present, the customer service line is 12 people long & my lunch time is about over. Would not recommend any experience in this Fred Meyers. The Customer Service is absolutely atrocious. Also, another 10 minutes has passed by & I am still waiting for an override..Update 30 days later. Still waiting to management to find someone with safe keys to cash my check. Waited near 20 minutes before Jason came strolling over, didnt say a word about the wait or disfunction, starts chatting with ladies at the counter, then walks away.. management here must be a joke 🤦♂️
Fred Meyers is the place to go when your in need of something. I grew up going there for groceries, shoes, clothes, accessories, etc. They is the Oregon City local market. The employees are helpful and the while foods and organic section is vast. They have a great selection of gluten free foods and also the clothing style is super trendy and cute. Shoe prices are fairly high but its great to come at the end of the season to get next years season shoes for a cheap price. Also they have an awesome deli for a grab and go lunch.
Was just here and saw 3 people in there with no masks on and workers said nothing.
Customer service is great! Huge selection, good prices.
Went in to buy cold medicine at 6pm at self checkout and got to the check out and was promptly told I needed my ID to purchase. Told me it didnt matter if I was 20, you have to be 21 to purchase cold medicine. Its funny how these people think they deserve to be paid more then minimum wage If they are going to allow this to happen.
The Fred Meyer in Oregon City needs a new face. The employees are very helpful, theirs plenty of inventory, they even have a day care so you can shop peacefully. It must be one of the oldest stores in the chain. They could have better lighting and the cement in the floors are cracked. Im new in this area, so Im glad I can still shop at Fred Meyer.
I went to return an item with receipt. The item was never used or opened. I was told that it was pass the 30 day return policy, which it was only 14 days pass the date. I explained that NO WHERE on my receipt, front or back, was there anything about how many days you had to return an item. The rude customer service employee told me that its common knowledge that its only 30 days. Question, why isnt it printed on receipt?
This is my go to Freddy store but they are out of so many items. I had to go to the Clackamas Fred Meyer the other day. I know they will get things back....
I use digital coupons quite a bit, it helps save money. I download the coupons from the Fred Meyer app that I have on my phone. They go onto my rewards card and are automatically deducted from the total at checkout. I especially like the Free Friday Download. You never can tell what its going to be. Surprise!!!
One of the last great bookstores. Hard to find these days and this one does not disappoint. Helpful staff and huge selection. Please stay in business forever.
Know longer have much of a reason to shop here. Absolutely hate their new apparel line Dip. Love the old lines purchased a lot of clothing. The deli sucks... Whatever happened to the gal that used to manage it. She was wonderful. WinCo Kohls works for me
Employees are very friendly, nice selection of stuff at this store
I love the quality of products and produce.Best place to get help, everyone is kind and I have nothing bad to say about Fred Meyers! The staff is always friendly and there AR always good deals!
Fred Meyer is the best. The prices are real good, way better than Safeway and Albertsons. But the best thing about Fred Meyer is you can get everything you need all in one place. It truly is a one stop shop. The Oregon City location is setup real well too. The location has plenty of self check out and standard checkouts, but it also has a scan as you go system and curbside pickup options. The selection of groceries is top notch and the Home and Apparel departments are also very well stocked and clean.Cant say enough about Fred Meyer. Favorite store to shop.
Doors on the toy/clothing/garden area closes at 7/8pm now? Carried a 24 lb baby and had 2 kids with me to make a quick stop just to be told the doors were closed by a worker opening the door to let another family out. I’m pretty sure he could’ve just let us through like he made an exception for them. Prejudice.
Has pretty much everything I need all in one place. I know the checkers and the managers there and they are all very nice and pleasant. The organic sections are fresh and I know most of the time, the prices are pretty good compared to other stores.Rather than go to Market of Choice or New Seasons, I go there and get all the things I need along with house hold items for a decent price.Last, I know that with the money I spend there, I get a great discount on gas. You cant beat that.
Fred meyers has been declining for the last couple years. figured id go get a key made, parked on the garden end of the store so i dont have to walk through half the store. doors lock at 8 pm, if which apparently they cant tell time, as its not 8 yet.find the key counter, un manned. no problem, cant be far.... walking half the store and no one. finally have self checkout personel paige for someone, and wait. and wait. and wait. Paige again and wait. needless to say no keys were made.if one is out of a basic food or clothing item, might be able to get it at fed meyers. otherwise, personally id hit wal mart, target, Ross, marshals, etc
Although, the crowds are more regular on a day to day basis, I still LOVE shopping here.. I rarely go and not find what I need at a great price... I think their produce and meat/seafood are fresh n delicious with a wide variety always available... And their Deli counter is full of good things as well...
The staff here is very unfriendly and the wait time for customer service just to return something is 30 minutes. Ive also had problems with them honoring their in-store specials, the cashiers often dont understand the complicated deals they run and cant answer your questions or get the right price that is posted on the shelf.
Fred Meyer was simply awful, unhelpful and rude. Jared was obviously wanting to be anywhere but helping me check out. The bagger so poorly bagged the groceries that they ended up on the ground. So apparently our $300+ bill is not important. Time to go elsewhere
Prices can be a bit high but I like that I can shop for food and clothing. I really love that they have a big selection of organic and natural foods now. Not a fan of the bar or the ridiculous amount of over priced cheese section. I feel like we are paying high prices for an over thought renovation. However I will always love Fred Meyers store.Oh yeah...I love the points we get and use on gas as well as sales and coupons. Best price returns than any other store!!! ❤
While I’m glad they have a better selection of organic, dairy free and gluten free items than other local stores, the shopping experience as a whole is disappointing. There are never carts inside the store anymore yet the cart returns outside are always overflowing. They are regularly out of common items I purchase and I often have to search the store for items that seem oddly placed. The coupon tags are almost always out of date so I have to go through a regular line to ask for them to honor their own coupon signs since they are no longer available on the app. The parcel clerks do not pay attention to how they bag/load and I have had to go back in the store on more than one occasion because they broke eggs or stuck a glass bottle in the child seat area that fell through the leg holes and broke.
Great
Since the remodel theyve cut way back on what they carry. The staff is great, but if Hagans was still here Id do all my shopping there. Im about to look for a better store
For five dollars you can order on line then go to the store and they bring it out and load it in your car. They re organized the store and made it more purposeful to get around while shopping. They have a beer 🍺 bar in the store and you can sit and have a cold beer and have your shopping cart right next to you. Or fill up a growler to go. They are really trying to make you have a good shopping experience.
Oregon City Fred Meyer has excellent customer service and quality merchandise. Wish they would keep everyday toiletry items in better stock, and the pricing&coupons can be misleading when not reading fine print.Although the pricing seems a issue in most Freddies. The staff really makes up for this though, and pulls through with a friendly professional feel,so thanks for years of great service Oregon City Freddies.
Its our local grocery store, so we come here quite often. My biggest complaint is that there is always only two or three check out stands open, always waiting in long lines because of this. They need better customer service, always so many employees around but never lanes open, please fix this problem!
Most of the checkout clerks are rude and then the self-checkout line the people that are to help you are ringing up other peoples groceries and have no clue several people are waiting on them for help. They are always out of the Friday freebies that they offer through the app. The Growler fill station is randomly closed during the afternoon hours when they usually do the most business. The blonde lady in Seafood is really nice but shes the only one there and needs more help. The store director clearly needs replaced as well as the p i c personnel.
Prices are good and quality/selection are good as well, particularly the produce. I shop here a lot, mostly for the convenience. I understand they are about to start a significant remodel and that part of that is upgrading the class of store. I look forward to that as I have been very impressed with the other higher grade Fred Meyer stores in neighboring communities.
Love that it pretty much has everything I need! Down side of it is that I usually like to bring my disabled father in law and there is never any eclectic carts for him to get around store on.
Its a good Fred Meyer. A little oddly set up in a few places, but I always have a good experience. They have a great green selection. Perhaps more green aisles than other Fred Meyers.
Used to shop religiously here but Im reconsidering after nemeruos times of poor service at the Starbucks inside I went there last Wednesday and Danni or something didnt even acknowledge that I was trying to get a drink no hello no Ill be with you soon,t just customer service. On top of the fact that I ask for 20 back and only get 19.50 with out any notification of a 50 cent charge. Thats never been there and the cashier that served me didnt even know that there was a 50 cent charge. Ill take my business to Safeway instead whatA disappointment
Awesome
Janky. This used to be a decent Fred Meyer but after the last remodel it’s a total mess. You can’t find anything anywhere and the employees obviously hate their jobs. Used to be my go to place but I dread having to go there now.
Their store is more logically laid out compared to other stores. Friendly staff and a good selection of items. If you use your rewards card religiously and do the coupon thing the same way you will save quite a bit and you will get rewards money back on your rewards card at the end of each cycle which I think is every 3 months.
The store itself was nice. Poor selection on nike athletic gear and I was over charged on the training shorts I bought. I pointed it out to the cashier and he was a total dimwit and had very little knowledge. Not helpful at all. Wont be doing much business at the Oregon Shitty location. Groceries are overpriced as well. Would expect better quality produce for the price.
Best place to get help, everyone is kind and I have nothing bad to say about Fred Meyers! I was doing instacart and everyone was helpful and I loved that! Go visit the one in Oregon City, they are the best, 100% :)
I shop at a lot of different Freddys and the OC one is the only one that runs out of paper bags. I hat the plastic one because they dont hold anything and break before you get to the car. I love Freddys and almost all are the employees are helpful. I like the 1 stop shopping.
Clean store, love all the choices.
Nothing like seeing employees with their mask past their nose only covering their mouth #partoftheproblem ill shop at newseasons where they actually care
Fred Myers pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to! Not only were they rude to me behind the counter but you have a line of 20 people waiting to get the prescriptions, many of them old and disabled standing there for 45 minutes is abhorrent to me. It is the first and last time I will ever go to a Fred Meyer‘s pharmacy in my life! I told that to the cashier and he said to me “That’s fine” instead of “what can we do to make it better for a customers?” I could not find my medication in my local Walgreen’s so I was forced to go to Fred Meyer‘s thinking how bad could it be? Well I found out how bad it can be! I will never step foot into Fred Meyer’s pharmacy again! You guys have a long way to go!
Treated very rudely by staff. They are currently breaking the law by not accepting bottles and cans. NO MATTER WHAT they have a legal responsibility to accept cans and bottle by Oregons state bottle bill law. Imagine that, they dont and threaten to call security. By far the worst group of uneducated workers Ive ever laid eyes upon!!!!
Didnt find paint with water for toddler. They have rearranged and not sure where to look. No clerks in area so gave up. Still easy place to stop for most things.
I have no issues with Fred Meyers, other than they need more parking. This review is for the recent addition of a Starbucks kiosk inside. I would NOT recommend spending your money for coffee here. They need MORE TRAINING! Go to the actual retail Starbucks outside and around the corner. The one outside has been temporarily closed so I really had no other choice, as I was on my way to work. If they have someone call in, they pull another employee from another dept. When I came in here, the older lady at the register couldnt understand my simple request. The other lady making one of my other drinks was quite unfriendly. She obviously came from the deli/bakery and didnt seem happy to be making coffee. I was then handed my daughters iced tea drink, it was made incorrectly and when I told her this, no apology from her. She remade it the correct way, hands were shaking and she was spilling it all over the place. I tried this location two times. I wont be back. Maybe if they consider training......
Had a bit of a hard time with the app..got about $450 worth of groceries and then it would not take my password...changed password, and everything I marked disappeared. Several calls to FM help, finally got grocery list to reappear. This took hours....Has the potential to be a time-saver. but wasnt this time. Had a number of notes written with special instructions near the end of the list, but nobody read them, and had to go in and shop for 5-6 of the items myself.
Great staff members and wide variety of items. Friendly people but a little tricky on doing returns and exchanges. Always have sales on clothes. Coupons all the time. Great location.
Frustrating place to shop. Too many tricks, gimmicks and deals to remember to get the price posted. Crowded when specials are on.Rude customer service and self absorbed checkout people. Parking is terrible. Pharmacy has long wait lines and then they were out of stock for an immediate need blood clot prevention prescription so told to wait 5 days for order. Can he wait? NO! Changed the prescription and then was told I had been given taken a partial which I had not and treed to charge me for both. This place is Ridiculous and I absolutely hate it. If there was a better pharmacy I would change completely and never go here again. I shop at the New Winco instead.
Don’t shop here or at any Fred Meyer until they treat employees betterSide note I’ve never personally worked at a Fred Meyer but I do know they’re hiring temps at a higher wage than they pay current employees because they are going on strike... shame
Great grocery with all needs
The beer station has a big sign that says theres happy hour every day from 3-8 and pints of beer and glasses of wine are on special. I came at 6:50 and the bar tender told me hes trying to close up so hes only doing growler fills. This is called false advertising. Im pretty disappointed.
I had bought a couple pair of Levis to big, took them back had lost my receipt and they got it off my card so great got to get the right size of Levis no problem with it. Made me happy, I was worried that it is the only fred Meyers I shop at and have returned things before and they always say no you didnt buy them here, when I did and I always scan my card. So kinda of worried about my Levis but went good.
