Cant say enough about the wonderful handmade pralines and truffles from the Chocolate Caper! So lucky to have them downtown and they have been doing curbside pickup and deliveries during COVID as well. Always greeted with a smile and always come out happy with delicious chocolate and each family member has their favorite. Top notch.

We started purchasing from Chocolate Caper while we lived in Madison, WI. We moved to AZ and kept up the ordering from a distance. Its the only chocolate we buy on-line and Dan does an amazing job at our custom order. He even remembers who we are.....WOW!!!! He ships the product right to our AZ address and it arrives in EXCELLENT condition. We LOVE the Chocolate Caper.....Give em a try....You wont be disappointed.

Living in Chicago now for about twenty years, I have yet to find chocolates as good.As a realtor in the city, I’m always trying to figure out creative gifts to give my clients. The chocolate truffles are amazing!! The chocolate is really high quality. Smooth, creamy centers and delicate flavors all are wrapped in a beautifully decorated shell. This is a family owned business who produce gourmet chocolates and stand head and shoulders above the mass produced stuff. And they ship orders all over the world!

I Love their chocolate pralines. There are fabulous. They are unique. Each one will get you several softly dense chocolatly mouthfuls of heaven on earth bliss. I especially enjoy the decadent white chocolate pralines.

We have many great chocolatiers in Madison but none as simple, affordable and local as the Chocolate Caper. I recommend you visit Oregon WI just outside Madison Wisconsin and get some free chocolate samples see the shop and buy something for the holidays. I have been a fan of The Chocolate Caper for years now. Their pralines and truffles are like nothing I’d ever tasted before. Smooth, rich, and melt divinely in your mouth. You can tell how much love and pride goes into each piece. I recommend them to everyone.

I personally LOVE chocolate. The chocolate I think was good but it a bit sweet. I have diabetes but I could handle a little. The price was a bit overpriced. A small box of chocolate cost me about $20.00 or more dollar. Maybe the shop is a bit for a higher income people to shop. The service was good thou.

Love, love, love the product at a very reasonable price. Today however in support of small businesses I placed a phone order for curbside pickup and had nothing but snarky remarks in response to everything I said. Very disheartening.

My happy place for chocolate!

Ive been purchasing chocolate from The Chocolate Caper for about 20 years or so. The ex-owners made the best chocolate Ive ever had. The new owners seem to make a lot of effort but the product just isnt quite the same as before. The old chocolate was a sensation in your mouth, smooth and creamy, low melting point, great flavor. The new chocolate (truffles) sits in your mouth longer, doesnt melt as quickly, is not as creamy and delicious. The old ones used to melt in my hand quickly, these took significantly longer to start melting. I purchased 5 of them, in different chocolates and nuts, and this was true for all of them. Its still quite good, but definitely a couple of steps short of what it used to be. However the dark chocolate dipped apricot seemed to be the same as before. Im glad the shop was able to continue, its a wonderful addition to Oregon.
