The Hilton House has brought a lot of joy and some beautiful pieces into our lives. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Selection is varied and high quality. I found a beautiful 14 carat gold chain 24 for a fourth what I was expecting to pay, (I never thought Id buy jewelry at a consignment shop). I Love it! Its a favorite spot to browse around, very welcoming and full of treasures.

I am a 30+ year Orinda resident. The owner of Hilton House, Cindy, is a disgrace. I have witnessed her rudeness and dismissiveness toward customers and her bad temper. As much as Orinda needs sales tax revenue, do we need to add to the coffers of this obnoxious owner?

One of the worst consignment stores I have ever been in. If I could give no stars I WOULD! I walked in and immediately a doorbell sounded to let the employees know they have a customer. I WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED!! I walked the entire store from left to right taking pictures. I even walked right in front of three employees and they still didnt acknowledge my presence. Talk about racial profiling! I had on work out clothes and purposely left my diamonds at home. Little did they know I was shopping for a wealthy client and had $10k in cash in my pocket!It was then that I realized how grateful I am to not be an old hag with a Im better than everyone else attitude!”They did however have some decent items. Mackenzie Childs, Waterford and OH wait a minute FAKE Chanel and Burberry scarves! They even have a sign displayed that they are NOT real. Hard time getting out of that one with the Feds. Selling knock off’s is against the law.In short...don’t waste your time unless you enjoy rude people and buying knock off items.

Hilton House is the Bomb! Not only do they have an excellent inventory of furniture, jewelry, artwork & sundries, Hilton House puts on terrific events with fantastic entertainment. We have purchased & consigned & have been thrilled each time. Staff is courteous & knowledgeable too.

This store is my absolute favorite! They carry one of a kind furnishings from all over the world! I never know what beautiful piece I will find at a great price. The jewelry is magnificent with a variety to choose from. The employees are friendly and welcoming to all.

As a woman of color, I am happy to say they are fully inclusive and welcoming to all. This business has been rooted in Orinda for many years, creating a very harmonious environment for all. The best consignment store in the Bay Area! Ive re-furnished my whole house with furniture from Hilton House and everyone gives me so many compliments on my home. If you want to furnish your whole home with high and slightly used furniture you need to shop at Hilton House. The staff is so helpful at finding just what you need. The fine jewelry is fun to look at and to buy for Gifts !

My wife and I needed a dinning room table that has leaf extensions when we have guests. We searched for a while and finally came across this table from Hilton House Designs. We fell in love with this piece, the detail on the legs is a unique feature and one of kind. The two chairs with the X back rest where also from Hilton House, which compliments the table perfectly. These are definitely the one of a kind pieces we were looking for. They have some treasures at Hilton House, we will definitely be back to see what else we can find :)

It is very unique store! you walk in and it is like a treasure hunt! Staff is very helpful! Cindy, the owner, is so professional and know everything about her itms! I wanted to buy a painting as a gift and she knew everything about it, so for sure she does her research on each item before she accepts in the store. H.H has one of the best jewelry selection I have seen in an antique store. Furniture selection is really good and match with all tastes. Now, I know where to go first if I need to buy anything. Last thing, staff is very kind, patient and helpful. They take care of you once you walk in until you go back to your car. I really recommend this store for all people who is looking for something beautiful in their house.

Depends on a four or five if you are buying or selling and every business deserves to draw a profit and sometimes the business deserves a 1. The people at HH have always been friendly and although sometimes I have seen a price markup to high, I get it. It is more of a consumer priced shop rather than a turn n burn but they could turn a lot more than burn sales. I will say I like going!

Great co-signment store, we love visiting Rita, and Cindy; always friendly, they work with our budget and have layaway options for the more pricy items. Good deals from furniture, pottery, carpets, interior decor, art work to jewelry.It is one of our favorite stops in Orinda, plus we love visiting Village Pizza for lunch next door. Worth the visit.

Experienced some blatant bigotry in this store by an older male customer and shop worker didn’t say anything. Kept quiet and continued to service him. What a sad situation to experience in an Orinda store! Looks like from an older review that I’m not the only one to experience this in the this store...

Hilton House is one of my favorite places to shop. The incredibly unique inventory surprises me every time. I especially love the jewelry, from fine to costume, everything is priced very well and like nothing I have seen anywhere else. I try to go at least once a week becasuse they are always getting new treasures waiting to be hunted. They have a refreshing mixture of brand new items and like-new items. I can always find great gifts for my friends (and myself). The majority of the furniture and fine jewlery I own are from Hilton House. But the best part is they have brand names and extraordinary items at a fraction of the cost!I have also made quite a bit of money selling my valuable items that I no longer wanted, helping me to pay for the jewlery that I love to buy. The staff is very helpful and sweet, they make you feel at home. I always have a wonderful overall experience in this beautiful and one of a kind store.
