I experienced excellent customer service from Erica in the Orinda, CA office when I needed replacement parts for our casement windows. My husband and I removed and reinstalled our windows when we painted, and along the way damaged a couple of hinges. Erica found the parts and sent them to us quickly. We are very appreciative. Imagine the phrase, Stands behind their product. Sierra Pacific Windows is, in every way, the opposite. Our Sierra Pacific windows starting failing after 6 years. The wood was falling apart. Windows were fogging up. The doors were falling apart. Its almost as if every one of their products was designed to hold up for 3-4 years.And their customer service! Wow. Dont even get me started. Theyre rude. Theyre slow. They dont schedule appointments. You know why?BECAUSE THEY ARE PRIORITIZING PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL IN THE TWO-YEAR WARRANTY WINDOW.And the saddest thing is that they will never get to the customers who have had their windows failing over the course of years 3-8. Nope. You know why? BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MANY PRODUCTS AND WINDOWS THAT ARE FALLING APART AFTER LESS THAN TWO YEARS.I literally cannot imagine a company that treats their customers with less respect (outside the sales window, where they are just trying to get their quick-to-fail windows sold to another sucker.
