When I was shopping for furniture. I stopped in the Penny Mustard store. What an experience!!Bianca helped me re design my living room. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She even came to my house the next day to alleviate my worries that everything would fit and match in the living room.I never experienced that kind of help from any other furniture store!!Thank you!

After shopping at four name furniture companies, my search for two recliners took me to Penny Mustard and Kristen. She was very patient as my preferences varied from mechanicals to size, to style, to materials. She understood the importance of each of my many unique questions and where necessary went to the computer to clarify specifics. Kristen was so amazing to work with and listened to everything I wanted and was able to find exactly what I described. I had been to 5+ furniture stores with a specific idea for a glider/recliner and no store could come up with anything close to what i wanted, or could not deliver it in less than 6 months. The entire process was straightforward from ordering what I needed, to contacting customer service for updates, to delivery. Delivery was quick and they set up my chair exactly where I wanted! Of all the places we visited that day, we had the best experience at this location!! Joanna worked with us and took her time to walk through their options for sectionals, the options for customization, and showed amazing customer service and product knowledge!I wanted to send a shout out to Joanna. As someone who has over 20 years of retail experience, I know great customer service when I see it. Keep up the great work! If you are looking for real wood or just real furniture in general. Say no more. This place by far has the best furniture. I could not tell you how proud I am to still see great furniture today because a lot of it is JUNK!!! We were there not too long ago and Josh toured us through the showroom. Very smart man, he knows his product. He was not pushy at all. He answered all our questions. I was highly impressed with everything. I will be coming back to see Josh and revisit for a purchase.

Bianca was a great help with helping my husband and I finding a sofa. Finding quality furniture is very important to me, most furniture stores I go to have cheap quality furniture. I will definitely shop at Penny Mustard again and I will recommend this place to everyone, it may be pricey but it is worth the money. My husband and I visited the Orland Park Penny Mustard several times. The first time I went in, I was just browsing for Bedroom furniture. Kristen greeted us and asked questions as to what we were looking for. She patiently took us all around the store and showed us what she thought we would like. Kristin spent well over 2 hours with us and we ended up buying a wonderful bedroom set. My husband said, That was the most pleasant experience he has had in a very long time from a salesperson! Kristen was patient, kind and very helpful. I felt good about our purchase! We just had our bedroom set delivered a few days ago and we couldnt be happier. The delivery went as smooth as you could ask for, the gentlemen that delivered our furniture were very professional, brought in 7 heavy pieces without one problem. We looked at several other furniture stores it the area and did not find what we really needed/wanted. The prices are high but most of their pieces are customizable. We were fortunate enough to work with Joanna. She was very kind and allowed us to browse around without being intrusive. She was really helpful to us in making our final decision.We enjoyed working with her. We are excited to have our new pieces delivered and look forward to working with Joanna again in the future.

We just ordered a new sectional from Joanna at Penny Mustard in Orland Park. She was very helpful in listening to what I needed and knowledgeable in what they had to offer. One of the most important things she buying furniture. The other is that everything is guaranteed and MOST importantly MADE IN THE U.S!Delivery was supposed to be towards the end of the month. We’ve been to 7 different furniture stores looking for a sectional for the basement. The space is long and narrow, so it’s a challenge to find something that will fit. The salespeople we worked with have ranged from pretty good to indifferent to downright rude.That was until we went to Penny Mustard in Orland Park and worked with Annie, who was EXCELLENT! Helpful, professional, friendly and answered our questions without using a “canned presentation”. When she didn’t know the answer she actually admitted it, then worked to find the info we needed instead of just saying anything off the cuff ... so refreshing!This was our first time shopping at Penny Mustard, but our first impression is good. Placed our order yesterday, supposed to arrive mid May ... can’t wait!

I visited the Orland Park Penny Mustard four times within the last two months. The first time I went in, I was just browsing for Living Room furniture. I had been to several stores seeking a quality counter-height kitchen table and found nothing suitable. Had not even thought about Penny Mustard until driving by and remembering the jingle....went inside and was met by a very enthusiastic and positive saleswoman named Joanna...she said, “I think you’re gonna like what I’m about to show you,” and boy was she right! Perfect table with enclosed leaf and high-quality construction!! I knew nothing about Penny Mustard and assumed I would purchase and they would ship out in a week or so, but she informed me it would be a couple of months, as the piece was completely custom and built to the customer’s desire. I was taken aback by this a little, as I’m accustomed to just buying and getting from warehouse later; Joanna calmed my anxiety and took me through how it all worked and then sat with me to select the desired piece; I was still apprehensive, such as what if something is defective with it and since it’s custom can I refuse delivery (yes, I am Debbie Downer!) and she was very patient with me and introduced the manager to assure me everything would be great, AND IT WAS! I felt so confident after dealing with Joanna and she kept in touch during the waiting time to see if I had any concerns; my experience with Joanna and Penny Mustard was great and I will be putting them at the top of my list with the next furniture endeavor!

Penny Mustard has the best quality furniture in Orland Park and the surrounding area. We visited several furniture stores, including other Penny Mustards. Joshua at Orland Park store was excellent. He knows his products, has a photographers eye with design/colors and gives great customer service. He went the extra mile for us and we really appreciate him. Thank you!

Could not be happier with our purchase. The quality of the furniture cannot be beaten. The customization options were impressive. Kristen Barr was a perfect salesperson and I highly recommend her. THE DELIVERY WAS OUSTANDING! Very heavy pieces moved up a staircase with two turns and ZERO marks to walls, railings or furniture. My only regret is that I wasted time and money shopping/buying anywhere else.

Kristen Barr helped us pick out two extremely comfortable and size-appropriate chairs and a couch (including chairs that have an adjustable neck rest). She was very helpful. She has a degree in Interior design and showed us some of her work on her PC. The work was gorgeous - like on television, but better, I think. She helped us with our design concerns. I highly recommend her.

I bought a chair and a half sleeper sofa. It was delivered last week and is beautiful and comfortable to sit on. I’ll know how comfy the bed is after my grandson comes to spend the night. I live in a small apartment at Peace Village and needed a twin bed for overnight guests. This is perfect. It is very well made and fits my small space. My shopping experience was enjoyable and a nice sales person named Donna took good care of everything. I would recommend Penny Mustard to everyone.

My wife and I are building a new home, therefore we are looking to purchase a whole lot of furniture. We walked in and we were not approached by anyone until we were almost out the door. Not sure if the quality of their furniture reflect their high prices.

We worked with Josh at Orland Park and he was amazing. He explained everything about Penny Mustard and how they work. He was very helpful in assisting us in picking out all our colors. When we ordered we just had an issue with another furniture store going out of business and we lost money on our warranty with that store and the manager looked into that issue for us which he didnt have to do. We got caught in the middle of the pandemic waiting for the furniture, but they notified us right away when they reopened and we had our furniture soon after. Quality is great and we loved the whole experience.

Incredible furniture. Everything in the store is outstanding quality. The prices may seem a little on the high side until you see the fantastic workmanship.Our salesperson was great. Shopping for new living room furniture we went to several stores. On the way home we saw Penny Mustard and decided to stop in there. We were a little taken back by the prices. After spending time looking at all the different custom made furniture choices we understood the great quality we would be purchasing. Kristen was amazing, and it was clear not only was she educated on the workmanship, she was a designer who loves what she does. Her expertise and recommendations alone are stellar, she loves what she does, and does it very well. Amazing store, amazing sales person - Kudos to the General Manager Jeff as well. For four to six weeks over the last two months I have been searching for suitable furniture to populate my master bedroom. Going into the process I had a mental picture of what I wanted and I knew the furniture I picked had to be of good quality.Browsing in furniture stores in my area I was less than impressed with what I initially saw. Then I happened to go into Penny Mustard for the first time. I was impressed with the choices I saw even though they didnt immediately match what I thought I was looking for. I went back to their store another couple of times after continuing looking at other outlets.Leonard Pacek was very helpful in showing the available options including style, choice of wood, finish and hardware. As a result I was able to finally make a choice that I felt I would be satisfied with. Leonard explained that their process involved my making a decision, initiating a buying process, and then an order would be placed with their craftsmen. Since I was not in an urgent mindset I was more than willing to wait the identified time before delivery believing that the delivered product would meet my satisfaction.This has proven to be the case and I am more than glad that I stopped in at Penny Mustard. More dollars that the other outlets but the end result is something I am happy with. Thank you!

Friendly staff, only sell quality furniture and although expensive, you get what you pay for. Take the time to check out the quality and construction of their furniture. Its furniture that will last. Their customer service is incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% satisfied when we had an issue with our order. I will definitely buy all my future furniture here. They also have great markdowns on store samples that price the pieces quite reasonably. We shopped at the Orland Park, Il location.

Penny Mustard is a great store everything is handcrafted, great quality, but you need to have very deep pockets to afford furniture there. Hopefully one day I will be able to purchase all my furniture from Penny Mustard

Best kept secret in Orland Park. They should advertise more. We had no idea of the size of the store once you get inside and the large collection of furniture. Quality furniture, very well built. Rhonda was the sales associate that helped us, she is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We walked in to look around and ended up buying 3 pieces of furniture.

Went into penny Muster just to take a look,thinking they would be overpriced! We were greeted by sales consultant Rhonda. Well Rhonda took care of us eve though we told her we would be shopping around. Rhonda took the time to ask what we wanted and explained everything about the sofa we were looking at. She showed us fabric choices After three visits to the store and shopping around we purchased the sofa from Penny Mustard.When the sofa was delivered the sofa came in a penny Mustard truck and the delivery people were very courteous.We will visit Penny Mustard for our next purchase!

We had been shopping for two straight days to find the perfect décor for our entry way. The interior of our house was recently remodel and we just could not find the exact décor. Ill admit I was tired and crabby by our last stop, Penny Mustard Furnishings. We were greeted by Evelyn Mattes. Evie took us all around the store, discussing various possibilities. We both centered on one painting - a great scene of Manhattan skyline. But I could not make up my mind. Evie came up with the perfect solution and once she showed me the solution, I was sold. Evie was the perfect match for us. She showed knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness. During the checking out portion of our trip, I noticed how well the store associates worked together. Everyone was so friendly and helped make our check out process easy and fun! We both are sold on Penny Mustard and this store is now our first stop in any future furniture and/or décor needs.
