We love Michaels! We visit this location a lot to buy materials for work and personal projects. The rewards program is extremely beneficial. We frequently receive discounts for our purchases. The store has a friendly and laid back vibe. The employees are helpful and always take interests in the different projects they help us with. They give great advice. The store is very cleaned and organized.

Always has the best craft material, and my girlfriend loves to just go and browse. We bought some cute colored gel pens for her journals.

You have an online special to order an item specifically a baseball bat display case for 50% off the reg price and you can pick it up in store if placed before 4pm the same day. So Im in the store (before 4) and buying some frames too- cause you have good deals right- we get to the register with the frames and the bat display case. Cashier says its an online special and he doesnt have a button for the 50% sale since its online specific. He calls a manager- who clearly just wanted to say no over the headset. We proceed to order it online literally while were checking out with the frames. We could have showed the payment confirmation and walked out with the item, but we were told that we need to come back in an hour to pick up the display case that we left at the register with the cashier because the order would not register that fast. We come back an hour or so later after getting a notification that its ready for pick up. Even worse, we literally left it with the cashier and then they put it back on the shelf, notified us it was ready (an hour or so later) and then when we return they have to get it off the store shelf again because they didnt even keep it up front. I get youre probably trying to up your online order sales, but you cant even execute a one item online order. Even more disappointing is the lack of customer service on the manager side that he/she wasnt even present and didnt feel it worth it to address in person when we were in store. Seems a little ridiculous how this was handled. Probably just amazon it next time. Better customer service from the Amazon chat feature than the manager in the orland location.

Ill never spend a cent here ever again. Was humiliated publicly by a store employee in front of an entire line of customers. Its amazing to me that their store employees are so drunk on power. I have spent 1000s of dollars with Michaels over the last couple of months, but again- I wont be shopping there anymore. Ill take my business to Amazon instead.

Im coordinating a wedding.. I needed vases for centerpieces variety in size NOT. Large floating candles - Nope. Glass votive holders - Nah only two or three of a kind. Its celebration season! Proms graduations weddings... Numbers are needed. Replenishment avail in the stockroom PLEASE!! I absolutely love Michaels tho. They had me on maps searching for locations like a serious addict this time. Ugh. Usually on point just not taday.

I really enjoy Michaels. Its pure crafts like Hobby Lobby without the urge to control womens reproductive tract - win-win! Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful.I helped a friend make a memory board for a grad school aging and dying class project. Everything but the pictures was from Michaels - fold-out posterboard, double-sided tape, fancy paper, craft scissors, lettering stickers, etc. She got full points on it.(Everyone else made a PowerPoint, despite the syllabus saying it was to be realistic and to be creative!. Whod want a PowerPoint of their life at their funeral...?)

Love Michaels staff is always awesome! Got paints for pumpkins for all the kids.

Moms make it fun and kids will want to help. Get your favorite pictures framed create a special frame to make it your own style. The ideas are all yours so go be creative. Get creative bake a cake and find all kinds of decorations to make it your own have fun .stop in and be creative.

Definitely one of the best places to hit up on black friday. My sister and I always joke that Michaels is always here for us because they have the best sales, the employees 9/10 times are awesome and helpful. This is a great location, I grew up near by and live further away now but we both still go to this location.

Havent been to this particular one in a while. Its definitely changed! Isles are switched, actually feels more cluttered then before. They moved the registers, which I guess gave them the extra room. All good but I still say feels a bit cluttered. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that the cashier used a coupon on my purchase that I didnt know there was. (dont frequent hobby stores often) always happy to save some money!!!!!

Well organized store with very helpful employees and nice seasonal items on good discount. Without the discount many seasonal items seemed a bit high priced, but you can also use coupons found online. Whatever the craft or holiday decor, Michaels is a solid choice.

The recent remodel has created a better flow in a store that has an overwhelming amount of sections and items. It is always clean and even during busy holidays the aisles dont get torn apart. The staff is small and if there are a lot of shoppers you WILL wait in line for quite a while (eg. One register only open)

A friendly staff thats always so helpful when I go in there. As someone who draws for a hobby, its great to have a handful of people guide you through the complex and wide array of tools and really make me want to come back should I need any supplies to continue my hobby or work on a new project!

Has very good sales. Can usually find what I need. They have inspirational decorating ideas. Love the crafts. Was able to make a backyard oasis from their summer sale items!!

The store is a dream come true for any hobbyists, artists, students, innovators, and just about anyone with a creative side! It has sections stocked with items to assist your talents and passions in numerous categories (baking, woodworking, sewing, painting, miniatures, etc.) Its hard to not buy something while youre there since there is such a huge variety of things to get your hands on and start doing like fondue baking sets or canvases and ink paints. They also sell holiday decorations so if youre a big Halloween fan, they get started early at this time of year and have a big selection of animated decor. Its a bit pricey in all fairness, but its worth it to see your creative dreams come to life.

Has pretty much all your crafting needs. Got a kit to make your own leather moccasins and had a great time.

Went there yesterday to buy things for my upcoming wedding and a girl named Michelle helped me. She was fabulous! Very helpful, and very friendly!! Michaels is very lucky to have her as an employee! I definitely will be going back again!

Usually $3 per person and sometimes free - crafts in the back of the store on Saturday mornings at 11am. Good for kids 3 -5 years old.

Michaels is a very well stocked, clean and organized craft store. They always have a great selection of staple products and feature holiday merchandise throughout the year. The staff is easily identified and willing to assist a guest.

For any of you arts and crafts folks out there, this is the place for you. Lots of materials for any hobby that you can think of. Woodworking, painting, sewing, etc. they have it all for good prices. The only reason for the 4 stars here is because at times that I have been there it has been hard to find someone to help me. They are either in a different section chatting or in the back.

Really good experience in Orland Park. An employee actually was walking around asking if customers needed help finding things. She(Erika) actually looked to see if more of what I was purchasing was in stock to be sure I had enough. This doesnt happen in a lot of retail stores. Great customer service here.

Michaels is one of my go-to places to buy any crafting supplies I need (& MANY things I dont need, but buy anyway!). They always have great sales and coupons, & they accept all competitors coupons. Just be aware that you cant use any coupons on items that are marked Everyday Value, even if the coupon says its good on entire purchase, including sale items. Luckily, the Everyday Value items are already priced well, but its still something worth noting. Youre able to use coupons straight from the app, which is very convenient. The same day store pick up option is a HUGE bonus. Another heads up though, you have to pick up your order from the Custom Frame Department (in the very back of the store), & Ive had to wait up to 20 minutes for someone to help me when picking up an order. That isnt always the case, and its definitely not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind if you are in a hurry when picking up an order.

While I absolutely love Michaels over all I have to say that I was less than impressed by this one. Its dark, dank and completely uninviting.

Very crafty place. Theres a little bit of everything that you need and stuff you could eventually use. Great for a DIY person for decorating or projects. Great for things to give kids something to do, model rockets, cars, clay, paints of all sorts, and textiles.

The store is always neat and tidy which is a huge bonus! Their staff is super helpful and friendly.
