Our bridesmaid dresses came in a WEEK before the wedding when they were promised to come in six weeks before. All of the bridesmaids are scrambling to get alterations. To hem my dress and shorten the straps it would have been about $140. One of the workers also body shamed my sister and tried convincing me to size up to “get alterations all over” instead of hemming the bottom and shortening the straps (my dress was a teeny bit tight on my hip but it fit almost like a glove). Go somewhere else.

I went in with my soon to be daughter in law to find her perfect dress. We were greeted after ringing the bell and asked to take a seat and wait on our appointment. Maha was the consultant. She helped grab some dresses and we decided on one that she loved. After finishing the appointment Maha was no where in site. We waited for her and she never returned. We all then went to the front and she was coming out of the backroom. We asked about their payment options and were given pay in full or 75% down to order and make payments on the other 25%. We asked how much the 75% was and she seemed not to know what that amount would be. After we decided to think about it she says well if you had purchased today you would have gotten a 10% discount. Maybe she should have led with that. She did however give us a lot of attention and helped us with colors for the bridesmaids dresses and ordered us swatches. I think the overall experience was mediocre and she could have done a better job at sales. I just feel like she assumed we were not going to buy the dress.There was a clearance dress we looked at that we asked about the price and was told they would have to look it over and let us know based on its imperfections. (had dead crickets stuck to the train, rips, snags, missing beads, etc.) I also saw a dress hanging that clearly had water stains like it had been submerged in water at the bottom like a flood had occurred under the dress.

My daughter didnt schedule an appointment but they were able to accommodate us and were so kind and helpful. No pressure to buy. Will change rating to 5 stars if we end up buying from them (whether wedding and/or bridesmaids dresses).

If I could give 0 stars I would. They were so rude and the designers are on hold for some dresses. When looking for bridesmaid dresses we found nothing the lady was so rude telling me the dress I liked was ugly. She was touching my girls inappropriately and they didnt accomidate larger sizes. Beyond dissapointed.

Any brides that plan on getting married stay away from this place. They messed up my friends dress literally a month before her wedding. Not only is the staff unprofessional,theyre incredibly dishonest and lack unity. Arguably the worst thing to do a bride. Stay away from them. Just all around rude and unprofessional staff

Please do not buy anything from this place horrible descion I have ever made. My dress was 4 sizes up I really feel like they measure you big so your forced to get alterations. They dont care about anything but making a dollar. They only accept cash for alterations and charge 600 dollars for practically nothing!!!! I went to pick my dress up 4 days before my wedding and I felt like the dress was ok the streamtress had to make some adjustments and that I will be ableTo take it home when I got the gown it was in the bridal bag the day of my wedding 4 days later I realized no hooks was on my dress to tie the dress down in the back the seamstress is not capable of delivering alterations services do not buy from them and do not let the seamstress touch your dress take it some where else

Please don’t come here. The manager is a nightmare. 4/6 bridesmaids dresses don’t fit and they’re not even handling it, making us alter our own dresses a WEEK before the wedding. We spent over $300 on each dress. They’re claiming we should have known THEIR dress sizes while we ordered them. We got fit there for the EXACT reason since we didn’t know our sizes. I’m begging everyone to not go here. Horrible place, it’s a total scam.

Maha was so friendly and helpful! She picked dresses based on the pictures I showed her and all of her picks were great. She even let me browse the floor…..some places do not allow you to. When I found the one, she said “I’ve been smiling nonstop under this mask”. She was a rockstar and I will be asking for her when I go in to try on some veils.

They staff are beyond rude and unhelpful. I told the lady several times my wife and I were shopping for bridesmaids yet she insisted on calling my wife a bridesmaid. We are shapely black women and she made sure to mention that they may not carry our size (to be clear our sizes range from 12-18). She then proceeds to tell us maybe we’d like to go to David’s Bridal because they’re more affordable .Make no mistake, not one of us are lacking in funds! We have seven degrees between the 3 of us so we could have most certainly read Ms.Thang but we chose not to.Didn’t bother helping us look for dresses then kept suggesting dresses that would come back AFTER the wedding date. We decided in the middle of her talking to simply walk out. It’s a NO for me. Get some customer service training and don’t try it again

I went to the house of brides in Orland and the ladies working there were very accommodating and helpful. Very pleasant environment even when I tried on so many dresses. They didnt pressure me about dresses unlike their competition over at Evas. So many beautiful dresses and for my brides trying so save some cash even their clearance section is great.

I was in the store shopping for my bridal gown on 7/15 when another party was in. Half of the staff was helping a bride who’s EXTRA lace wasn’t in? I understood her frustration but the whole staff was at her beck’n call trying to fix the problem. After my appointment with Maha (which was amazing btw) I was walking out when the bride and her party stopped me and made sure to tell me not to get my dress from here. I was shocked at the vulgar profanity that was being shouted at the staff by the party. I could hear them from across the store. I kinda felt bad for the staff because they really were trying their hardest. Customers need to be more understanding especially during these hard times.

BRIDES STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!My wedding is in 2 weeks and i just got my dress in yesterday. i purchased the dress in February and needed to cover the back with more appliqués. we talked about it for 2 hours and they said the seamstress can do it. i went in today for the first fitting and the seamstress was late. I finally got in my dress and the seamstress was not pinning me up at all and just stood there with a piece of paper asking what i want done. I told her the date of the wedding and she gave me a weird look as if she doesn’t have enough time to do it. She grabbed the manager because everything i was telling her that needed to be done was not in the invoice. The manager finally comes and says we never ordered the appliqués. The invoice i have from FEBRUARY SAYS FOR THEM TO ORDER THE APPLIQUÉS AND TO COVER THE BACK. but she acted like she had no idea about it when SHE WAS THERE AND SOLD ME THE DRESS. I LITERALLY BUSTED OUT CRYING IN MY DRESS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE. they just walked away and i was in my dress for 2 HOURS!!!!! They kept lying the entire time and the manager only cares about your money.PLEASE BRIDES STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. i never would’ve thought this would’ve happened to me and i was so excited and now i’m stressed out about my wedding dress 2 weeks before the event.PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE PROFESSIONAL AND TO PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THEIR BRIDES.this is a picture of the manager her name is joanne PLEASE STAY THE F*** AWAY FROM THIS EVIL B***H

This is my first and last time I will ever go to this establishment the staff is so rude .The only person who honestly cares about the people she helps is Maha.The person who does alterations Ruth is really rude and does not go according to measurements. I felt very welcome as soon as I walked in. Christine was so helpful. The dress selection was large and the styles were varied. I found a beautiful dress within my budget today. And we got complimentary champagne to celebrate the occasion. Thanks so much!

This boutique has an advantage over others. We visited several bridal shops but none compared to the personal attention from the staff and gown selection. Definitely recommend.

I got my wedding dress from here and the staff was wonderful and helpful. Diane was my consultant did pulled dresses with all of the specific details I wanted. Ruth the alterations woman did an amazing job making the dress perfect and fit to me. I had to add straps to my dress (not what I originally wanted) but she added details to the straps that made the dress even better.

Terrible dresses 5/7 bridesmaids dresses ripped or popped, we all had them altered to fit custom to us and they still ripped or broke. would not recommend.

I was told when I purchased my dress 10 months prior that Id have it 3 months before my wedding. I called 3 months prior to the wedding and was told that the dress would arrive 6 weeks prior to the date. I called 6 weeks prior and was told to call back closer to the date. I asked to speak to the manager and did not hear back.It took me a number of days, likely because I am a nurse working long shifts on a covid unit, but when I called back again I demanded to know where my dress was. The following day I was told they would expedite my dress.By this time I had already found a back-up and had it altered. My wedding was out of state and thus I needed alterations completed 1 week prior to my wedding date. Despite explaining all of this to numerous employees, I was denied any return option and they told me to be accommodating because of covid... the audacity.I had multiple friends get married this last year and I was the only one who ran into issues with acquiring my wedding dress. To say I was disappointed with House of Brides is an understatement. I will steer every bride I know far from this place.Side note: when my husband called after our wedding to try to negotiate with the customer service representative, she said she couldnt talk to him any further because it was almost the end of her shift. That alone tells you the sort of care you receive at House of Brides.

My Bridal attendent was the Best, knowledgeable, accommodating. I had so much fun. See Mata.... Amazing!!!! Joanne the mgr was so nice and hepful.

Overall the staff was great. My dress turned out exactly the way I wanted it. BUT they charged me an extra $150 to take the train off the dress ultimately being $700 in alterations on top of the cost of my dress. Picked it up today and they wanted to charge me for the bridal bag?!?! The white bag to take the dress home in... Instead of letting me bring it home in just the plastic. Apparently it’s a corporate thing... not the best way to treat paying clients. Insane to me.

My wife and I stopped at your store just to start looking at dresses for our sons wedding. The lady at the front desk was very nice, said you really need an appointment but feel free to walk around and try what ever you want on, you just will not have anyone really helping you. My wife said that’s fine no problem I understand, thank you . We picked out several dresses and she went to try them on, another lady came over Immediately and told me I couldn’t be in the area and was told to sit in the front of the store, she was very rude to the both of us. I’m assuming because we didn’t have an appointment. My wife felt so horrible that she didn’t even try a dress on and we left your store. Your employee sure put a damper on a day that was suppose to be full of joy.

Our experience shopping went well, so that is why it is getting one star. I ordered bridesmaid dresses from here in January for an early July wedding. Prior to purchasing, I specifically checked to see when they would be in, because one of my bridesmaids lives out of the country where our wedding was suppose to be. After the final order was placed, my mom called for an estimated eta, and they lady did not believe that we were having a destination wedding/ gave her a lot of attitude. Of course as time got closer, I heard nothing from them. I called a little before a month out and they said they would get back to me in a few days. I ended up calling them again (a week longer at this point). Asked again when my wedding date was and that they were going to check with the company and get back to me. I ended up calling them again, because I had not heard anything. They said that they would have to check, but should be in soon. I asked what the plan is was if they aren’t in next week and I was laughed at. She said, “ oh it’s fine really. Everyone will still get theirs altered in time if they use us.” Still confused at this point knowing I have girls from all over. Well 17 days before wedding and they are finally in. Disappointed with the customer service/ timing. 👎👎👎

I went to House of Brides after a horrible experience at another store, I was worried about this visit. It was an evening appointment and we had the whole store to ourselves which made it a lot easier to look. Christine was my consultant and we went over everything I wanted, she said she was there to help me in any way and it would be a better experience that the previous one I had. We went through the racks and the sale rack and found a great selection of dresses; with Christine right there helping me I said YES to the dress!!!I can not say enough about the staff that we meet that night. The customer service was better then great and I am so glad I went!!!!Thank you to Christine and Joanne for making this such a great and memorable experience!!!! I couldnt be happier!!!Keep up the great work!

The sizing chart used to order the dresses were waaaaaaay off. We were told that they used a European chart. Amost 10 dresses ended up having to be majorly altered at our expense. This is not good business and that sizing chart needs to be addressed. Not a good first impression.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. You’d be better off making your OWN dress. I understand COVID created some issues, but my dress was supposed to be here by MAY...it’s now AUGUST. I call every week, and I’m always told a manager will call me back within 24-48 hrs. It’s been yet another week, and nothing. When I asked for a refund because I still don’t have the dress, I was told they don’t do refunds :) Don’t waste your time or money here!

House of Horrors? From the moment we walked in the MANAGER told my father that they don’t allow men in the store. My dad and I are very close as he was home most of my childhood and my groom’s mother doesn’t live in the state. After that disheartening encounter we were placed in a back corner. My stylist, told me they didn’t have dresses in my price range and instead of looking for the type of dress I wanted (which might have changed my budget) she was so driven by the price and the fact that i’m a larger bride. We went to clearance and it was a small selection, but all she could mention was how she could give me a deal on it. The whole experience felt more like her opinion of the dress mattered more than mine. She got flippant when I said I didn’t like one dress and stormed back into the dressing room. I wanted to cry. When I decided to be done she was relieved because she was being asked to help with a different appointment, which seemed to be more of a priority. Apparently they don’t value the people of business coming into the store.

I was lied to when my wedding dress would arrive. When I went in for my bridesmaids dress I brought my at now husband with me because it is both of our wedding and I wanted his opinion and the staff was extremely rude to him will not allow him to look at the dresses we had a walk to the front entrance to show him. I also had to help my bridesmaids to get fitted because the staff was too busy talking to each other to help us. On another occasion we went in there to look at my mother stress that she had purchased for a color sample for a tie and the staff member named Chrissy was beyond disrespectful mumbling under her breath. I walked out of there crying because I was so disrespected. If it wasnt too late I wouldve canceled my order with them and went with a different wedding dress store due to how disrespectful and the poor service I had received. All they want is your money! If you are going to shop at House of brides please choose a different location do not under any circumstances go to Orland Park. I will tell everyone and anyone I know to never use this store. They will ruined one of the most happiest times of your life!!

My bridal appointment was amazing! Diana my consultant made my experience memorable. She helped me go through the beautiful bridal gowns with my specific requests and style in mind. My aunt, future mother-in-law, and my 2 best friends were with me, we were a crazy loud group. Diana was patient and attentive with us and listened to our opinions with each dress I tried on. She didnt pressure me to buy a gown right there and then. Which I appreciated! I went back a couple days later with my mom to show her the dress I fell in love with. With a great customer service and a beautiful gown, I said yes to my dress! I cant wait to wear my dress on my special day! Thank you Diana!

I had such a fun and productive experience at my bridal appointment! I said yes to the dress with my mom and a couple of my bridesmaids. We celebrated with champagne and the girls viewed bridesmaid dresses after. My consultant Diana made herself solely available and dedicated to finding my dream dress. It was a day Ill never forget!!

I had such a great experience purchasing my wedding dress from House of Brides!! My consultant was so sweet and extremely patient! The manager was also very sweet and helpful! And the celebratory champagne was delicious!! I would definitely recommend!

I wish I would have listened to the negative reviews! I bought my dress and made an appointment to pick up and when I showed up the store was closed. Granted due to covid but they didnt even bother to call me to tell me to reschedule do to closures. When I brought this up to their attention they were rude. when I was finally able to pick up. I tried on my dress and its huge on me. They measured me the day I bought the dress. So I bring it up and there goes the attitude again. This company purposely orders gown to big to then charge you $700 in alterations. I saw many reviews of brides saying this and I choose to give them the benefit of the doubt. Highly disappointed.

My daughter got married last month. She was referred to Christine by one of her friends who had used her. This was by far the easiest part of planning her wedding. Christine almost seemed to know what Kerry, my daughter, would want for her perfect wedding dress after just a few minutes of talking to her. It came down to two dresses, and Christine showed Kerry how one would show off her gorgeous red hair better than the other. I was at my nieces bridal appointment with her and a friend. We had a lot of fun. The consultant was excellent. She said yes to the dress!! Such a better experience here than at her first bridal shop we went to.

I was very impressed with the staff members there. Much help from all of them. They helped me and all the other bridesmaids pick out exactly what we want and gave us more than enough time to make the perfect choice. Such a great first experience!! From the second we walked in everyone was very helpful and super friendly! Diana was a huge help!! She helped us with looking for the dresses we want and the colors, and believe me we were running her around like crazy! But she was still, through it all, very very very helpful and attentive. Such a beautiful place, with amazing staff! Diana helped me get my bridesmaid dress right away! She gave such thoughtful advice with ordering the right size! She was super friendly, and I had to bring my toddler with, and was amazing with him as well! I completely recommend this place. Beautiful dresses every where you walk, all for a great price!

My 5 star review is actually for Diana the consultant who works here. Shes great at her job and has a wealth of knowledge about all the dresses, designers, colors, and the way the dresses fit. She found both the bride and the bridesmaids a dress that they didnt even think they would like to try. She also made our experience a happy one after a rough start. She was awesome!

I was highly impressed by the staff and how we were treated. None of the places I had went to had been so nice and they offered snacks and drinks and mimosas. I also brought my 2 year old with me and they were so great with her. Diana was wonderful and I said yes to the dress to the one she pulled out from the back from the first time she saw me. I am so happy with my dress and can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day.

Absolute gorgeous salon! Everyone there was so helpful. They made my experience a moment to remember. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by smiles and genuine concern of what I wanted and was looking for. Sure enough I found the dress of my dreams and if that was not enough we celebrated with champagne. I brought my friends and family along with and they had a blast! Thank you House of Brides Couture staff!! I could not be happier with my decision.

I have to say after the treatment I received from your Orland park location last night, I was less than thrilled. I felt terrible as a bride and this was the first place I went to. I truly felt rushed, misguided, and neglected. Your office did not contact anyone in my party to cancel the appointment and my maid of honor traveled an hour and a half for this, what was supposed to be, a special day. We checked her phone to ensure any missed calls or voicemails and none were there. Apparently two of the consultants called off leaving the situation as it was, however the night entirely was a disaster. After feeling incredibly awkward trying a few on (note in the wrong size that made me feel so overweight) in the complete silence of the store, (no happy music, no smiling faces, no welcoming of any kind), the comments about me not possibly getting a dress was not at a good time either. Not to mention after being practically shoved out and being told your owner called to close, the lights went out in the store rather quickly minutes after we walked out. I was not happy at all with the horrible service I received, and I would not recommend this to anyone I know.Update: I never received a call from Management apologizing for the disaster of a night I had here and I’ve also noticed they don’t apologize to any brides on these reviews when they’ve posted their horrible experiences. So sad. Well I got my dress. David’s bridal was happy to help me and made my experience wonderful. If you continue to operate like this, I can’t see how well your future will be.

I noticed the store as I was driving down Lagrange, I popped in even though I didnt have an appointment and it was the weekend. I waited about 10 minutes for a consultant to be available, and Im so glad I did! Brandi was so helpful! She seemed to know EXACTLY what I wanted. I had already been to a few other shops, and Brandi was by far the best consultant I had. I highly recommend!

The best first experience EVER!!!!! I’m getting married in 4 months so I didn’t have time to order a dress on such short notice & had to pick from the rack. Christine K. did an outstanding job in helping me pick out the most beautiful dress for my special day along with offering her services to my mom & sister. The manager Joanna was very pleasant to work with as well....best place & people to go to find a beautiful gown. I’m not sure what people have experienced before I went but They also have new management if that helps.

I was very impressed with all of the staff at house of brides in Orland Park. Christine K was a our consultant and she was phenomenal. I would highly recommend their seamstress she went above and beyond. She does phenomenal work. A little pricey but she is worth every dollar. I would highly recommend this place.

I had such a wonderful experience here with Diana . I had visited so many other places for my dress and I never felt so good at this place. I brought my 2 year old daughter with me and they were so accommodating to her and also to myself and maid of honor with minmosas and cheese and crackers and snacks to my daughter. After I purchased my dress with Diana I came back for my bridesmaid dresses with all of my bridesmaids they loved this places the best and said so many nice things to me about how nice Diana was with them helping them get measured and ordering there dress. I’m so happy I have this experience with such wonderful people for my special day

At first I was very happy I found my dress and ordered, came in time. Went to pick up my dress was handed an $1100 dress in a ripped plastic garment bag dress is still too big after ordering a size down. Was told by my seamstress that the maker of my dress does order to length. But was NEVER offered that service when I asked about alterations they were going to charge me a $650 flat fee (more if there is too much work) I paid a third of that. I should have listened to the reviews they just want your money they don’t care about helping.

I had an appointment last Saturday to look for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I worked with Diana and she was amazing! Im a size 20 and didnt have a clue what kind of dress I wanted or would look good on me. Diana showed me dress after dress each complementing my body and making me look gorgeous. I bought my dress and my bridesmaids dresses that same day. Joann the manager checked in on me during the appointment and helped answer any questions about ordering our dresses and alterations. I recommend House of Brides Couture in Orland Park to all my friends!

The store offered great deals and the staff provided even greater hospitality under the new management. Really payed attention to every detail to provide me with exactly what I wanted. I recommend dropping by for sure to find your dream dress or cool bridesmaid dresses!!

Wish I could give them no star at all. They were absolutely terrible to work with. They acted like they cut us a deal with the price and we paid up front 8 months before the wedding. They dodged phone calls and multiple emails, after we tried to follow up with them months before COVID. I even tried reaching out on Facebook and they would simply delete my comments, including the ones of me warning people to not come here. Dont waste your time, I dont even understand how this place is still in business.

I was hesitant about coming here after reading many of the poor reviews. Having only 40 days until my wedding I was absolutely sure I was going to have a very difficult time finding a dress especially consisting they have to order dresses and they take many months so I only had the sales rack option. When I arrived I was created by the front desk woman who was extremely kind and helpful. My sales associate was super nice and very interested in helping me. My appointment was only suppose to be an hour and by the time I was done I had spent over 2.5 hours and not once was I rushed or made to feel bad. The sales associate helped me pick out a bunch of dresses and I tried on almost Eveything on the sales rack. When I couldn’t find anything I liked the manager came over and was so wonderful. I wanted to purchase a dress I found off the rack that I wasn’t in love with. It was pretty and I was going to settle in it but it was a half size too small. The manger was so honest with me about the cost of alterations due to the material and the areas that would need to be adjusted. She could have just let me spend the 700 and said nothing to me to make a sale but she didn’t. She advised me not to get it as the alterations would be extremely costly and take a long time. The manager then went out of her way and allowed me to pull dresses from the racks (of which they do not sell off the rack) so that I couldn’t find my dream dress and have it in time for my wedding. I have never been treated more kindly and had a better bridal visit (and I have had over 5 at various location). I am not sure if it’s because it’s underneath new management or if I got lucky with the staff that day but it was truly an amazing experience.

I started off a little hesitant of House of Brides only because of their lower star rating on Google and an experience my friend had here about a year ago, but figured I would still give it a try. As soon as we pulled up, there were HUGE signed in the window stating Under New Management. This place was wonderful and Margaret was SOOOO helpful! I explained a little bit of what I was looking for, but it was only my second day shopping, so i didnt know exactly what I wanted. Margaret explained where the as-is/purchase today/discounted section was and my sister, mom, and myself started there while Margaret took to the full priced section. I was so comfortable the entire time. Never felt rushed or pushed to purchase a dress. Once i narrowed down what i liked, Margaret had some of the other girls in the store pull other dresses that might fit the way i was going. They worked with me on the price of the dress I really liked (if i took the sample). In the end, i didnt end up buying a dress from them, only because i couldnt convince my fiance to be flexible on our budget (we have a super strict budget since were having a destination wedding AND paying for it ourselves). I would absolutely go here again and i am recommending to everyone! Thank you!!!

I had gone to many stores trying to find the right dress for my wedding. There were a few dresses I was considering but none of them quite felt right. My mom and I went to House of Brides on a Monday evening. Mary Ann took care of us. She was wonderful. She was determined to help me find just the right dress. I tried a few and liked them but then she said she remembered a new dress that came in that she thought was exactly what I was looking for. I tried it on and tears came to my eyes. I felt beautiful! I went home that night excited but needed to think about it. I went back the next day and bought it!

I purchased my Mother of the Bride dress here. Brandi was wonderful to work with, she listened to what I was looking for and was able to show me dresses she thought I would like. Very patient in allowing me to try on multiple dresses and gave sincere opinions based on her experience and knowledge of designers. I would recommend her highly!

These whole 5 stars go to Christine! I cannot put into words how kind and caring she was to me and my family. She is the reason we will only be back to shop here in the future. Well done!

I came in looking for a short mother of the bride gown. I havent been having much luck because most short dresses I have seen are too juvenile. My consultant Brandi was able to show me the best options for not only my style, but my budget too! I will be back in the future.

My original review is * My new is not! Due to corona, things changed but the need for the dress I paid for hasnt! I need my dress for my daughters small ceremony on 6/7/2020 but its not here yet and they wont offer any sort of refund so I can get another in time for the wedding! Others have given options, like flowers, venue, DJ, etc but not here! DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS HERE IF YOU EXPECT TO WEAR IT WHEN YOU NEED IT!*If you want that say yes to the dress experience this is place to go right down to the champagne toast! Christine was our consultant and she went out of her way to help my daughter find a dress! She was very enthusiastic about her job and did find my daughter that perfect dress! Say yes to House of Brides on rt 45!!!

Maha and Joann were amazingly helpful in our bridal search today! They were patient, extremely helpful and so sweet while our bride tried on a variety of dresses until she found the PERFECT one! The two of them went out of their way at every turn to ensure the dresses (bride and bridesmaids) were exactly what we were looking for, would arrive on time and were within our ideal budget. I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience at House of Brides. What a team!

Was the worst experience!!!!!When you go to this kind of places you want and expect for the people that work there to be helpful. Well you wont get that here!!!Young lady that received us didnt have an attitude but she should made it so difficult and was not helpful at all!!!She kept asking us the same question over and over again!!! And we kept answering but she still didnt get it.All we wanted was to try on any kind of dress that was rose gold, thats it, simple!!!Well not for her!!! She left, came back with samples of materials for the dresses and she kept talking and talking and talking!!! But did not help us at all!!!So we just left!!!!!

I wish I could leave zero stars. My dress experience with Orland Park location was unforgivable. Terrible customer service when ordering. I only barely received my dress two weeks before my wedding day. They tried to blame it on COVID19 when I ordered my dress in plenty of time before this pandemic. When my dress didn’t arrive on the promised date of arrival, the evil spawn refused to refund my 70% deposit. And laughed at me when I started to panic. I recommend ordering from Morilee by Madeline Gardner directly because my dress was gorgeous in every way, it even had pockets!

Rana was my wedding consultant and she was so sweet and accommodating throughout the entire process! She tried so hard to get me exactly what I wanted and she also tried to help get the price of my dress down! I would totally recommend coming here. There is such a great, diverse selection, that any bride is sure to find the perfect dress!

Terrible customer service. They avoid phones calls and instead of getting answers you get an attitude. We were told that in time to get bridesmaid dresses in time for the end of May we had to have them ordered and paid for in full no later than end of October, which every single bridesmaid did and guess what WE DONT HAVE: bridesmaid dresses. But it gets better...they avoid phone calls from the bride and give her every excuse in the book as to why the dresses aren’t here yet. Such a joke of a business. Ladies be weary of getting your dress here..unless you want it to be a week before the wedding and not have dresses.

House of Brides in Orland made this process entirely effortless for the bride and bridesmaids. We came in on a Saturday without an appointment and they instantly greeted us with a smile and let us look around and try dresses on. Best service in the world. Both times we worked with Aiya and she made us feel at home and beautiful in every dress. Highly recommend this specific location! Will come back again and again.

Diana was very attentive to my likes and dislikes. She was so helpful that I bought my own wedding dress. This place is very big and even though I did not have an appointment (I do recommend one), they did accommodate me. I do plan on going back for bridesmaids and mother of the bride gowns!

Rana took us in and stayed late with us till we found the perfect dress. We will return here for every wedding.

I brought my grand daughter in to try on bridal gowns. Her consultant was Brandi who was just as cute as a little doll but sharp as a whip!!! We found our gown on our first time out. Were very happy would recommend House of Brides Couture in Orland Park to friends and family for bridal gowns, brides maid gowns & dresses for the Mothers and grandmothers too!!! Thank you!

I have visited many salons in the past month and hands down walking into this salon was the most pleasant. My interview experience was very smooth and the employees went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. House of Brides Couture has the personal one on one attention you deserve not the big warehouse your just an appointment feel.

House of Brides couture was the last stop of my day. I had been all over town and couldn’t quite find what I was looking for. Brandi was so helpful! She listened to me when I explained what I wanted my dress to look like,and pulled me dresses that were even better then I expected. I felt like the consultants I had at other shops never took the time to listen to what I wanted. I am so beyond happy with the service I had from Brandi. She truly went above and beyond for me. And after I said yes, my party had a champagne toast. They turned my long and stressful day into a dream come true.

NO STARS!!! This is a horrible place. Paid for a super rush and was told it would be 4-6 weeks. After calling constantly and then denying they said 4-6 weeks, the dress came in barely two weeks before the wedding. Christine was horrible. She was totally fake and said they were very strict with the time allowed with showing and trying on dresses. Managers were awful as well. When we picked up the dress it was huge, of course they wanted extra money for alterations. When I stated how I was very upset with how long it took for the dress to come in, Christine denied she ever told me 4-6 weeks. When I told her I’d be back to talk about this and that I wouldn’t add stress to my daughters experience, she kept going and also got loud. I told her to stop several times, and she would not be quiet. They lie, their unprofessional, and they rip you off. It’s a shame they ruin the brides experience and make things miserable. They would not give me a refund for the super rush and when we went for alterations the dress was ripped. We were only a week and a half away from the wedding so we had to get alterations there, at an additional cost of course. The seamstress reinforced the ripped sleeves but we knew it would rip again before the reception was over, and it did. The dress didn’t fit correctly, the alterations were shoddy, and the whole experience stressed out my daughter. The employees and managers are rude and useless and try to rush you through the process. I would encourage everyone to stay away from them for their wedding or anything else.

Wow! House of brides, especially my sales consultant Diana made the selection of my bridal gown easy! The boutique is very lovely and such a pleasant welcoming store. I loved the whole bridal experience .

This was my first stop and my only stop! I was looking for a specific style of wedding dress and expected to shop store to store. I came to House of Brides Couture and meet with Chris. Together, we went through the dresses...theres so many! We found dresses that matched what I wanted and by the 4th dress, I found the one! Chris explained everything about the sizing and ordering and answered my questions. It can be intimidating shopping for a wedding dress but she really put me at ease. My wedding dress arrived about 2 months before my wedding. It was a seriously fun and easy experience! I cant wait to wear my beautiful dress!

I came to House of Brides with no expectation of finding a dress. I had a tight budget and very high standards. The staff was so pleasant, kind, and very helpful. My consultant Aiya picked a dress for me to try on based on what I had described - this turned out to be my dream dress! She offered to work with me and my budget in the best ways possible and the manager of the store even came over to confirm the discounted price as well as tell me I look great. I am so appreciative to House of Brides for making this dream come true! Thank you!

I visited this store looking for a bridal gown and the boutique was very lovely. The consultant was very attentive and I would recommend Dianato other brides. I said yes to the dress. Thumbs UP !!!

My experience here was absolutely wonderful! They were very helpful and I could tell they wanted me to leave with my dream dress. They did everything they could to make sure my family and I were happy and well taken care of. I loved my experience!

They had a huge selection of bridesmaids dresses, and my consultant Brandi was so patient and accommodating. I brought all 7 of my girls, and of course they all grabbed about 10 dresses. I wanted each girl in a different dress, but the same color. Brandi was able to help us narrow down the perfect dress for each girl!

I went to the House of Brides Couture in Orland Park. I just have to say the service was absolutely amazing. The moment I entered the store everyone was happy and very attentive to my needs. DO NOT SHOP HERE! I bought a bridesmaid dress in August 2019, the wedding is mid-June 2020. I was told that the dress would arrive 4-6 weeks before the ceremony. It arrived 9 days before the wedding. Of course I understand there might have been delays due to COVID; however, the Orland Park location was unreasonably slow to return my voice mails. I left voicemails every day for 2 weeks before finally receiving a call. I was told my dress would be in the “next shipment” for weeks. Management should be proactively updating their customers on order updates and delays, the customer should not have to leave voicemails every day for a response! If you MUST shop here, tell them the wedding is a year before the actual date and you might get your dress in time. Maybe after all this they’ll change their ridiculous policy to actually order the dress and ship it when you purchase it instead of waiting.

Rude staff, saleswoman was not welcoming and offensive to my fiance and her guests. Would not recommend.

My consultant was so helpful. She showed me such a variety of gowns and spent time with me. She was kind and respectful. Between her and the manager l was able to pick a beautiful dress at a reasonable price.

I’ll admit that I was very apprehensive to order my dress from this particular location, but I sure am glad I did!Between my appointment when I ordered my dress until it was due to come in, the management changed rather abruptly. However it seems I should be thankful it did!Joanne was a wonderful, professional contact that really went above and beyond to guarantee someone else’s promise. Huge selection of off the rack and order gowns was hard to just choose 1! My consultant Maha was insanely sweet and understood the process very well. She was amazing and I recommend her to anyone! Breezy process with this store and manager JoAnn.

I spent two hours trying on dresses here with Rana. They have an amazing selection of dresses and veils! She was very patient and understanding and Ive booked an appointment to look at the bridesmaid dresses! ❤❤❤ Cant wait to have my dream dress in my hands!

I can hardly click on the one star. I really give a zero. I have never had such a bad experience. This place in a sham. They order your dresses wrong then charge you $85.00 to altar them. Then for my daughters Wedding Dress they charges $450.00 to altar a dress they order 2 sizes to big. Yes I did say $450.00. I first time we went there they made us feel so special. I next time we went when the dress came in they didnt even help us at all. They just gave us the dresses and left us on are own. If you want to talk to a manager she is never there. PLEASE PLEASE if you want to have an amazing experience with you WEDDING DRESS, DO NOT pick this place!
