They are delicious, I loved the Champagne one from last month but it was only for limited time. I have tried other ones too and are delicious as well.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, this bakery ruined my sons birthday, they have not been response in trying to correct the problem and Im starting to think there is another reason.

Cakes are not packaged properly and are not made with proper supports. Was very dissatisfied and disappointed. Ordered a 2 tier cake and when picked up was a 3 tier in a paper box. Cake tipped over right away in transport. After cutting into cake we found no supports had been put into the top tier. Cake tasted delicious but to have it collapse right away was unfortunate.

We purchased a smash cake and 8 inch for my sons first birthday. The smash cake was vegan and both were beautiful and tasted great.

The customer service was horrible she acted like she didnt want to be bothered and kept saying my card was declining. Worst customer service award goes to the chick that served me and my 3 year old daughter.

The customer service was SUPERB!!! I wasnt too fond of the cupcakes. They were very heavy on the oil (overpowered the flavor) in the cake and in the icing. I had the Carmel Apple, Wedding Cake, Lemon Drop and Strawberry Vanilla cupcakes. I gave them a 3 for Customer Service, Variety and my daughter liked the Strawberry Vanilla Cupcake.

Definitely not what it used to be. When the place first opened the cakes and cupcakes were very good quality and looked great. Now they look and taste real bad. New management maybe? Very sad!

Customer service is important in customized products. I went there twice in the past, to get disappointed. Nobody explained any thing about speciality cakes. It helps to get some clarification rather a plain NO.I went back and inquired myself. This time the girl who took my order was informative and helpful.I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. It was delicious and perfectly crafted.

Very nice selection of cupcakes. You can choose traditional flavors or some that are different from the norm. Got the Butter pecan cupcake, great flavor and not too much frosting. Will definitely have to go back to try more flavors.

My go to place for great cupcakes. Who could resist a cupcake filled with good stuff . How about a Boston cream cupcake oh so good. Wedding cake, carrot cake, many to choose from oh so good. Small business and I support them so give them a try, its worth the trip. With Corona check befor you go for hours. Enjoy

Love this place. Staff was so friendly and took the time to answer all my questions about all the different cupcakes and ice cream they have. I got the cup cake smash up were they cut the cup cake in half place the bottom in a cup add 2 scoops of ice cream and then place the top of the cup cake on the 2 scoops of ice cream, sooo good. See many more trips to this place.....

I had my sons 1st birthday cake made here. It was very cute, except I specially asked for it to be light green NOT dark green, and that’s exactly what I received. I know I signed off on the paper and it did have my request but it was completely ignored and not even a phone call to let me know if maybe they ran out of the color and had to switch? I’m not sure but was disappointed it was specifically what I did not ask for.

First time inside and it was so cute and cozy! Sam was so nice and so patient with all my questions regarding a custom order! And, no surprise, their ice cream and cupcakes tasted delicious!Update after custom order was placed: I just wanted to share that I still give this bakery 5 stars even after there was an error with my order. Matt, the owner, went above and beyond to make things right after our custom cake mix-up. He personally called me to apologize and offer a fix, which I appreciated. And the cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing. The bakers Adrian and Karina did a wonderful job. Thank you Matt & team.

This is my favorite dessert place. Ive been bringing all my friends and showing them this place and its amazing. Only complaint, for a lack of a better term, would be how often a lot of items change but I like the diversity at the same time. So like not really a complaint I guess?

We had SmallCakes for our wedding and they were amazing. We were stuck between doing the traditional cake or cupcakes. We obviously went with the cupcakes because we were able to do an endless amount of different flavors. Everyone loved that they were able to pick what sounded good to them and not stuck with one kind of cake. They delivered the cupcakes before the wedding and set everything up beautifully! They even left behind the boxes so people could take any leftovers. Highly recommend.

Hi I just want to say I love these cupcakes - Bear Claw is the one I discovered the last time I went in and it is my new favorite - although that is difficult to decide! The owner here at the Orland Park store Matt is someone I chatted with at an Orland Park Recreation Department event for children over the summer - Wacky Wednesday. It is nice to get a feel for the company. His staff are very personable and sweet. I feel great when I am in the store.

Tried the smash with a caramel crunch cupcake and southern caramel ice cream. That combination was amazing! The cupcake tasted better than it looked and it looked great. If you havent tried a cupcake with ice cream, do it now! There are plenty of options and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get.This location itself was very nice and clean. My girlfriend ordered the cupcakes for dogs(carrot) and the dogs were satisfied.My only suggestion is for the business to provide the customers with sturdier utensils. The ice cream is thick and it was difficult to eat with the flimsy plasticware. 5 stars overall.

I get small cakes very few times a year. Its not that its super expensive its just the cupcakes are so rich that eating them constantly would ruin the experience. Even set up a cake and cupcakes for my daughters 3rd birthday party and the staff was very informative and easy to work with.

Parking in strip mall and close to shops and eateries.

Hands down the best cupcake I ever had. Someone brought me 6 of these cupcakes and I couldnt believe how delicious they were! I probably wouldnt have tried them on my own, so glad someone brought them to me!! I couldnt even pick a favorite, they were absolutely amazing and they were just as beautiful as they were good! I LOVE this place!! I have had downtown cupcakes that didnt rank up to this place...Highly recommend!! Definitely try this place, you will not be disappointed

The cupcakes are the best Ive ever had, anywhere! Only 4 stars because I feel its very overpriced. That being said, you know its exceptionally good when I can say its overpriced but STILL keep coming back! You get what you pay for though. They are consistent with flavor, freshness and variety. My favorites are the birthday cake cupcake, the Boston creme, and if you love carrot cake, the carrot cake cupcake is superb!!!

Wish I could give zero star. Just came by to pick up my birthday cupcakes and guess what! They are closed for the weather. They didnt bother to give me a call and let me know, though. Whats the point of asking for my phone number when they were taking my order? Unbelievable!!Go shop at Marianos instead. They have cheaper, bigger and most importantly tastier cupcakes.

Ok so I dont normally eat cupcakes but when I do, I want a good one! I stopped in today and was met by a warm and friendly greeting in a very clean store. I purchased a peanut butter cupcake and it is BY FAR the absolute best cupcake I have ever eaten in my 30 plus years of life! I WILL be back for more for special occasions and just to have a treat for myself from time to time! Thank you Small Cakes for a super delicious small cake!!!

I purchased unicorn cupcakes for my daughters 8th birthday. Not only were they beautiful but they were the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. They were moist, fluffy and full of flavor. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends, family and any one looking for beautifully decorated tasty cakes and cupcakes!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating to kids. The full size cupcakaes are on the larger side and the mini are on the smaller side. Limited seating in the shop if you are looking to eat at the shop, they do have utensils if you want. Good take out boxes for the cupcakes. The cupcakes were moist and kids loved them.

This place is terrific! Everyone in my family knows I have a giant sweet tooth so I can be a little harsh when judging my sweets. This place was like heaven for me. When my wife and I arrived on Saturday during their opening weekend, we were greeted cheerfully even though the line stretched to the door. The decor was classy, clean and inviting. When it was our turn to select our flavors, the person helping us took the time to explain each unique flavor and what sets it apart from other cupcakes.If you like soft, moist and fluffy cupcakes that are topped with a silky smooth and light frosting, then this is the place for you. I have never had a cupcake as good as I have had here. My personal favorite was the Wedding Cake cupcake followed by the Red Velvet cupcake.After my wife and I sat and ate some of our cupcakes at the tables, I decided to try the ice cream. Now, I was not expecting anything special in regards to the ice cream, but I will tell you ice cream is one of my favorite food groups. The ice cream here is literally to die for. The person working behind the counter let us sample multiple flavors and this made the decision extremely difficult, I wanted every flavor I tasted. I eventually decided to get two scoops, one of the vanilla bean, then I had them place a scoop of Salted Caramel on top of the vanilla. All I can say is you have to try this combination for yourself. The ice cream is so creamy, its almost as if you are eating a cupcake in ice cream form.Do not forget to ask for your rewards card which will give you a free cupcake after a certain amount of visits. Also there is a special called a Smashcake they can create for you which is basically a cupcake sliced in half, layered with ice cream and served in a cup. I did not get to try this, but it is now on the list of things I want to do this weekend.Do yourself and your family a favor and stop by this location for a treat. These cupcakes were so good that I could envision them being used in place of a cake for weddings, baby showers, birthdays and other celebrations. Your guests will love you for it. Do not take my word for it, stop in yourself and see. Enjoy!

The smash cups were cute, but it didnt taste as good as it looked. Online it showed the cups with caramel and chocolate drizzle, but when I got there the cashier told me they dont put toppings on the cups...a little disappointing.

Delicious. I got the caramel crunch and it was well worth the $3.75. The frosting was chewy like it was made with real caramel and the cupcake was moist and dense.

I ordered an eight inch cake with Star Wars decor. Not only did it taste amazing, the decor was awesome. My son was so excited! Worth every penny!

Great place. Prices were a little too high, especially for being in Orland Park. Itd be great if it ran some specials. But the cupcakes were moist! My son had the birthday cake! It was great. Husband has the hot fudge sundae, if you like chocolate, youll love it. I had the Mimosa...OMG! And the puppies had the pupcakes.

These cupcakes are yummy with the different flavors and they are pretty big for the price you pay per cupcake. Only problem I had was that they only make a certain number of cupcakes per day so your not guaranteed to get the flavor you want unless you come early..and I personally think that the frosting is to heavy for the cake bc as soon as you open the wrapper the cake just crumbles. Defiantly need to eat it with a fork at that point...

The place was alright, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Ive seen videos of this place on facebook and i just had to try it out. I took my 2 boys there for a weekend treat in hopes of getting to try their famous smash cup. But unfortunately I was disappointed. We showed up 2 hours before closing and there wasnt much of a cupcake selection left. I had asked one of the staff if they had more cupcakes available and i was told that a bakery makes them and drops them off so whatever they had out is what they had left. Sucks. My first impression of this place was a bummer.

I had the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. The chocolate was so moist and had a rich chocolate flavor. Irresistible!

Best place to go for anything! Always fresh- you’ll never find another place like this!
