Great store with helpful employees. We bought a blue tool storage chest that is absolutely top notch quality. We used a no exclusion coupon. The blue was special order but arrived quicker than their own estimate! No damage and they even helped load it in our SUV. It was packaged so so well. It went together quickly and they even included drawer padded mats to protect your tools. Wonderful experience!

Harbor Freight has a lot DIY tools and equipment to use around the home and some job sites. I am glad that they have changed some of the products that did not work for very long. Unfortunately, I sent hard earned money on some items that failed in less than two years and with no one in the industry who will repair them. While solid objects, have worked well. Some things like moving parts machines, simply took my money. My home is rife with items from Harbor Freight. Their battery maintainers seem to work great! There at home jacks are great. Having used a couple of them opt for the aluminum, because its lighter and easier to use. Please check carefully for the item you need. If it is a molded steel product, it probably will work for years.

Went for a 21mm deep socket. Website showed they were in stock and wanted to purchase a 1/2 breaker bar on sale for $14.99 but you only get the sale price if you join their club for $45. Never again harbor freight.

Good store to get all kinds of tools. Only thing is if youre buying a large item that is not in stock make sure you get confirmation on the date it will be delivered. Alot of back ordered items.

This place can come in handy when in need of minor tools and supplies. The quality of the product is ok but could be better.

The tools here are higher quality than they were years ago while still being super cheap. Plus you can buy a big knife with a compass in the handle like Rambo had in First Blood.

They do their best to keep their inventory stocked. Popular coupon items do dissappear quickly. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Had to sift through a bin of a part to get the correct fitting, but it was there. I have been there after work for the day, so they may be busier when I visited.

Ive been to a few in the Chicagoland area and by far the best one with great staff, management, and how clean and organized this store is. Its hard to keep it clean due to others but the store has what you need for DIY projects at home or tools for work. Inexpensive and cheap but has warranty on them. Good place to be honest. And the lines varies by time but I went through the checkout pretty quick.

This location is horrible, they are always out of stock yet they leave inventory tags like they have it in stock until you get to the register. Then employees get an attitude when you ask for help. Dont waste your time here.

Some good deals on low quality tools, very useful for one-off items or things you know will seldom use, but you still need to spend 5 minutes comparison shopping whatever youre going there for, youd be surprised on some things something quality name brand is just a few more bucks, and even in some cases, lower cost.Mediocre staff, not very helpful or knowledgeable, but not bad in any way either. Doesnt really seem like they seek out people that have a good knowledge of tools, more like they just look for stock boys and clerks. That may also come from them always seeming to be understaffed and busy, so its really just my impression. Youd have better luck them knowing the price of something off the top of their heads than if they have tamper-proof torx in stock without having to spend 5 minutes explaining what it is to them first.Probably the nicest thing is whatever tool you find online, even some pretty obscure ones, they generally have in stock, Ive never had to special order anything.Gone are the days of a real tool store with the owner working behind the counter who was like an encyclopedia of any tool that exists, but at least we have Google now.

Love this store. Good deals on most things. They should put up the members only and the non member price so it isnt confusing on what the price actually is. Other than that it is a clean store and lots of deals.

Typical Harbor Freight store. Good selection of okay quality tools at a good price. Some products better quality than others. Not a fan of them dropping coupons for their paid discount club.

I remember when I would go to Sears for Craftsman tools, and laugh at the harbor freight catalog. Now Craftsman is pretty much gone. Bring sold off for there name. An I find myself going to Harbor freight since I can usually find what I need there, and at a fair price.

Nice size store and staff is friendly and helpful parking is plentiful. I really like shopping Harbor Freight Tools i save allot and the tools work great never had a problem returning a tool for exchange or refund if defective or any reasonable reason. I bought numerous tools and found nothing wrong or defective with annual of them what a time saver when they do it right for you in quality

Good assortment of tools & equipment for the home or work at usually much cheaper prices than other big box hardware stores. However, like other stores, COVID-19 has affected them & stock of a good number of items has been depleted due to supply & demand issues. They are one of a very few stores that carried nitrile gloves in XXL sizes for my husbands big hands & the shelves were totally empty.

They need to teach their cashiers to know how talk and answer the Customer needs with more respect not being rude

Harbor Freight is a small mechanized tool paradise for a tool minded person. Like Tool Time or being lost on a Craftman planet. If you build it they will come, yep all the tools you need. But call first, they may be on sale. Like Menards, Lowes or Home Depot. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Staff was helpful. Shelves were full. Harbor Freight is a no- frills low priced tool store. You can get ( if you dont know) $129 welders and all kind of tools at very reasonable prices. When I asked for help yesterday before the store closing I expected that I would be treated ( deserved it!)like an idiot but instead two people helped me and even offered other solutions. Front cashier was pleasant and efficient. The service, store condition, and help was outstanding. The stores are usually in low rent buildings . The store gave $$$$ much appreciated service.

Be careful when you buy items in a box, especially the ones they have locked in the cage in front of the store. Look at it prior to purchasing. My husband purchased a $200 OBD code reader. When we got home and opened the box, the inside packaging was ripped open and appeared to have been used and stuffed back in the box. I immediately called the store but got the security guard, she said the store was closed. We returned it the following day. The guy with the tats on his arms was the same cashier when we purchased and returned it, appeared to have an attitude problem. He didnt say anything to us literally. But his body language said it all, including him throwing the reader on the next counter. Honestly, I really dont care about the way he acted, because if he was trying to be intimidating he failed miserably. What I do care about is purchasing a product that is suppose to be new and not made aware that it was a return. If we had known this, we would have asked for one that was new. I stopped my husband from asking for another one because I didnt like what I was sensing with that cashier and also the lack of transparency that we were not informed it was a return item when we were purchasing it.
