Friendly and informative service. Requested/ordered a cheeseboard for a picnic date. Asked that the cheeses be good choices for pairing with Chardonnay. Above and beyond! So happy with everything.
I live about 1 hour away from this place and I happily make the drive when Im in the mood for the best grilled cheese I have ever had! This place is a hidden gem and needs more attention. I have been here about 8 times in my life and the food is always consistent. Its 10$ for a grilled cheese....I know it sounds pricey....but this isnt Kraft cheese its quality and worth it every time! I highly recommend you try it.Edit: so I tried the Mac and cheese...its not bad....a little dryer than I like it... But the grilled cheese is still amazing.
My husband and I were at East End Market yesterday, where all the shops where doing a bustling business. We happily waited in line at La Femme Du Fromage for a glass to enjoy as we walked around. While waiting we read the wine menu that was on the counter, and picked the ones we wanted. The cashier was very bubbly and pleasant, and everything was great until she rang up our wines. The bill was significantly higher than the prices listed. When we questioned this, the cashier called over another staff member who I suppose had more authority, who said their wine menu was out of date. When I asked if they were going to honor the prices that they had posted, the other staff member, rather rudely, said No. Ummmmm, no? We were told the price of the wine is whatever rings up, not what’s on the menu....I am not saying we won’t ever go back, but I can safely say it won’t be anytime soon.
So I went during their evening rush right before they close (I know I know but I was working!) looking for some quality cheeses for a gift basket I was making. Despite definitely having a lot going on the person at the counter helped me out so much! They were friendly, attentive, and gave me great suggestions. I was overwhelmed going in but they made the whole interaction quick and easy! I forgot to get their name but they had a shaved head and wore glasses! Thanks a bunch
Cute wine and cheese shop inside the East end market with a wide variety of cheeses to sample! We ended up buying some truffle Gouda and prairie breeze, both were delicious!However, I also ordered a cheese board with prosciutto which cost me over $20 and came with hardly any cheese. A bit over priced for what we got. The cheese board also took a really long time to get. Seating is also very limited inside.Overall it was a good experience with the variety of cheeses available, just expensive and very small portions.
Polite service, but I purchased a Buffalo Camembert that, upon opening, was moist and slimy on the exterior with brown spots on the rind. I live only minutes away in Baldwin Park and took this directly from the shop to my home. I did not leave an opportunity for major temperature or humidity fluctuations - this was just a poor quality product left in the case for too long. I hope this is just a “one off” that happened to a newer guest. Very disappointed in this instance.
Where to start? Tonda is amazing. We asked her to create a charcuterie board for our wedding and it morphed into so much more. She quickly turned from The Cheese Woman to wedding coordinator and caterer extraordinaire. No surprise, our charcuterie table was a beautiful success, but to our delighted surprise her and her staff transformed our entire humble wedding into the most perfect garden dinner party. She created the soup, salad and paired Gideons cookies with cheeses and wine for dessert. Tondas expertise and experience with events was a lifesaver and we are beyond grateful to her and thrilled with our experience!
I was hoping to surprise some friends on their honeymoon with a nice surprise to their doorstep. My first delivery fell through with another company and I was giving up hope to get anything delivered before their last day. But, Tonda at La Femme du Fromage responded to my inquiry first thing that morning and made accommodations to hand-deliver an incredible charcuterie board to my friends front door at their resort. She even hand-wrote a card to include with the package with the most elegant hand writing I have ever seen!The pairing recommendations were top notch and my friends enjoyed the surprise. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. Thank you to Tonda and the rest of the team for the accommodations and taking the best care of my friends. I cant wait to visit in person!

If you dont like cheese, Im not sure we can be friends. I mean... CHEESE!Located inside the East End Market, this cheese shop has it all. They source a wide variety of cheeses. You can do a cheese plate there or take a variety home. Youd seriously impress friends with a cheese plate that offered up this level of goodness.Prices vary and you can talk to the staff about what type may suit you best. They even do pairings so ask about what their up to that month!Overall: A+CHEESE. Really thats all I should have to say!!

These folks are very busy, so plan ahead. That said, the cheese board was good.
The best grilled cheese sandwiches in Orlando!! We ate it too quickly to get a picture, but we also enjoyed the fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with house made pesto and a charcuterie board including fennel and truffle flavors and pickled fruits. There is something here for kids and adults, my kids love the grilled cheese and I love the salads and Cheeseboards. If I didnt have to drive home I wouldve enjoyed a glass of wine too as their selection here is excellent! Thank you Tonda and team!!
Very good, they select your cheese plate if you get the board or box, but they take all your worries and dislikes into consideration. They really know how to pair cheses with meats and fruits tgat compliment beautifully.
Have stayed in Kissimmee for 2 years and just found this place. The place is brilliant wonderful staff such a pleasure to shop there will be back very soon and often

The mac and cheese grilled cheese served here is without exaggeration, the best grilled cheese Ive had in my life. Perfect balance of all ingredients and the shaved parmesan on top was a great touch. I cant wait to come back and try their other options, everything looked delicious!
The environment and staff are friendly! But waiting 30+ mins for one grilled cheese is not the move. Realistically; it shouldn’t take long to toast bread and melt some cheese. It was delicious though:)

True artisans in their craft, as cheesy as it may be.Full Review: Cheese is undoubtedly the most beautiful and complex delicacy in the food world, and Le Femme Du Fromage makes sure their staff is knowledgeable on the cheesiest of topics... which is very helpful for customers who arent quite yet connoisseurs themselves.My only complaint is one that broke my hungry heart. For those of you who are mad woke, truffles are quite possibly the greatest delicacies in existence. The experience of such divinity by way of the taste bud pushes me to believe that there is, in fact, a higher power. Nothing motivates me more to empty my bank account than to indulge in a dish whose prime elevating ingredient is the truffle.One of the side dishes that they offered here on the day I went was a truffle mac & cheese, a pretty new standard side dish that seems to be popping up at more and more food venues. I mean every time I turn around, another restaurant seems to be offering this exquisite pasta side, a sign that I was born during the correct era on the timeline spectrum. For being artisans in the cheese buiz, I expected their truffle mac & cheese to be above and beyond. However, to say the least, I was greatly disappointed. This was just very bland in taste, lacking that impactful punch that you would expect a truffled mac & cheese to deliver.In my head, I try to justify the reason for it being so lackluster. Perhaps they rotate the type of truffle cheese used, though I am not sure. Next time I go, I will be certain to ask if this is a possibility, because there is no greater sin than for a cheese business to produce a truffled cheese dish on that level disappointment.On a lighter note, the varieties of cheese they have and rotate through are impeccable. One of the featured cheeses on the cheese board was a feta from Australia that apparently takes 16 weeks to get delivered. If that’s not dedication, then I don’t know what is. Another thing I tried was the Bacon Jam! breakfast sandwich, which was quite heavenly. It consisted of a fried egg, cheese, and the tomato jam topped with fresh arugula on the crispiest, most buttery croissant you’ve ever had. If that doesn’t cure your hangover, then the remedy you seek exists only in your imagination.
I have been patronizing La Femme Du Fromage since they opened. It is always an exceptional experience for cheese lovers and also those who want to expand their palate and enjoy an international cheese tour. I make it a point to bring friends from out of town to enjoy this location because its local and unique in a town filled with chain restaurants. On this visit, I had a friend with me who was gluten free. The staff tuned into our dietary needs and understood the need to eliminate the crackers from the cheeseboard. Instead of simply eliminating an item - they sliced in some fresh vegetables - what a great way to enhance a guest experience. As we planned the cheese and charcuterie board, the staff discussed flavor profile and texture preferences to create a beautiful and balanced cheese tour. Upon delivery of the beautiful board to the table they took the time to discuss each component of the board and why they chose them. Such great service from beginning to end! Do yourself a favor and stop in and let this knowledgeable staff take you on a tour- you might find a new favorite cheese - i always finds something new each time (and usually end up bringing it home)! Great selection of cheeses. I do love their grilled cheese too. I was disappointed with their customer service today.Wasn’t open on time this morning so we waited until 11am, an hour later and was turned away because she had to many pre-orders to rush and fulfill. All we wanted was a piece of cheese. We weren’t trying to order a meal. The cheese is great but the service could use improvement.
Got the olive tapenade. There was a seed in it and I chipped my tooth. I’ve had some other experiences that weren’t the best. That was definitely the last straw.
Thursday afternoon. We ordered one sandwich and one flat bread. After 20 minutes waiting, I asked her about our order, and her reaction was like she forgot about us. After 25 minutes my sandwich was ready. A tiny sandwich. My wife’s flat bread took another extra 10 minutes. So I eat alone, my wife watching. Terrible service!! Not even an apology from this lady.
I agree the grilled cheese is delicious but no matter when I have visited whether they are busy or not it takes too long to get served. Tonight LaFemme was too busy coaching her employee to serve me and no one else was there. La femme explained that she needed to do this before she left. I asked her if she cared about having customers and she said yes so I said then you should consider serving your customers first. This is not the first time La femme has been curt and rude. This is the last time I will try to be a customer of this establishment. It is just too difficult.

I walked into east end market knowing I was getting cookies and avocado toast. But as I stood waiting for cookies, I look right and saw this array of cheeses. I look around and see they have a lunch menu that includes my favorite food: macaroni and cheese. So I decide why not? AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID. This was a little early birthday present to myself and I will be back. Probably tonight for a grilled cheese!
First visit today but won’t be our last. Really great, we arrived for an early lunch and ordered a grilled cheese, italian sandwich and a pesto salad. Amazing freshness, filling and light at the same time. Bread was both crunchy and chewy without being hard and the flavor of the italian sandwich was delicate and well balanced. Pesto salad was extremely fresh and tasty and the grilled cheese was really good also, hard to choose a favorite. We split everything and will be back again to make the same order over and over.
Came looking for something they didnt have. Left delighted that wed visited anyway. Good selection of cheeses & drinks. Fast, friendly, helpful staff. Best grilled cheese sandwich anywhere. Co-located with a half-dozen other arts & eats boutiques. This is one of Orlandos hidden treasures.

Best grilled cheese sandwiches in town. I usually get Le Grand Fromage, and its excellent. There is also a very good selection of hard to find cheeses. Service is very good. Staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There are a few seats in the shop, but the seating outside in the garden area is really nice.
THE place to go for great cheese! Diedra was awesome and after asking just a few questions nailed down what we would enjoy. She was spot on and its evident she truly enjoys helping people who love cheese! A labor of love that translates into superior customer service!!

Cute little place in East End Market. They get packed fast. It took them 20 minutes to make a cheese board and croissant sandwich or me. I ordered a cheese board expecting to pick some cheese I would like. You dont get to pick the cheeses. I got one of the cheese I wanted at least, but got stuck with a cheese I didnt much care for. The board had a nice assortment of nuts, fruits and crackers. The croissant was weak. The jam was dry and made the bread too dry. It was meant to be a bacon jam, but it was more like bacon and barely enough jam to moisten the bread.The food took way too long and wasnt good enough to come back.

I adore this place. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the staff are friendly and treat you like family, and the food...some of the BEST cheeses Ive ever tasted. They pair them perfectly with wine or specialty beers. Simply amazing!

The food was absolutely fantastic. The owner recommended wine pairings that were perfect for each course. We attended the Valentines dinner and were blown away by the quality and taste of the entire meal. Well be visiting again soon.
Amazing! I came to get cheese to pair with french baguettes. The young lady that assisted me was super helpful, knowledgable, and nice! I loved that she called me sweetie a million times. Definitely come here and pick up some awesome, high quality cheeses.
I had the cheese and meat board. I have definitely had better. The portion size was small, the cheese board came with grapes, about three strawberries and 10 Crackers and about a tablespoon of honey. The meat portion had three small meat selections and I mean small with a dab of mustard, no olives no pickles nothing. I paid $30.00. Not at all impressed.

The Bacon Jam sandwich made with an Old Hearthe croissant, arugula, a cheese blend of their own, and a delicious farm raised fried egg, and the bacon jam made from lineage coffee. Will destroy your life.Also, dude if youre reading this and you dont make the double cheddar spicy Mac and cheese with truffle oil and broccoli. A part of the menu, I might actually die. Youve ruined my life Fromage, and I love you for it.

Great cheese shop! Hand-picked selection from around the world. The menu items (sandwiches, quiches, mac & cheese, etc...) are delicious and the cheese/charcuterie boards are out of this world. I usually let the cheesemongers choose my board, and they never disappoint. Dont leave without trying the Meredith Dairy Feta, though. Out of this world.This shop has a great wine selection, as well. Small but mighty; also hand-selected.There are a few seats in the shop, but you could take a seat outside in the garden center and enjoy nice weather.
Incredible spot! The grilled cheese is to die for with the some tomato soup from a neighbor shop. Also, the feta cheese here is unbelievable, delicious to just eat on its own.
Amazing. Ive been here many times and had Tonda cater our rehearsal dinner, which ended up being much better than our wedding food. Cant wait to go back this weekend.

I used La Femme to create a cheese board for an event I was hosting. I am not local and heard about their great selection from a friend that had visited their shop. They had an easy inquiry section on their website and got back to me within 24 hours of submitting it. Tonda was a great help in explaining what would be appropriate for the event as well as giving me a range of options (type of cheese and portions needed for my group) based on my budget. After talking with her I decided to let the expert make the selections. Picking up the board at the shop was easy and it was ready when I arrived. I was blown away when I picked up the board, it was both beautifully designed and she selected a variety that fit everyones tastes. Many guests were already familiar with the shop and were so impressed that I had used them. It really elevated the overall food at the event and I will definitely use them in the future and cant wait till Im back in town to try out other goodies from their shop! Thank you Tonda and team!

The staff is always very friendly and highly knowledgeable of various cheeses, which you can buy to take home or eat there. They also carry a nice selection of mimosa/cava cocktails, wines and craft beers. Seriously...what more do you need? Its the perfect way to start your Sunday Funday, or Anyday Funday.My favorite sandwich is their signature one: Le Grande Frommage. Its a grilled cheese sandwich that blows away a local grilled cheese shop I really like(d?). It uses 4 cheeses between garlic bread, basil and prosciutto, and is served with 3 apple slices on the side. Lets just say the 2 other people in my party were a little jealous of the faces I was making as I stepped into cheese heaven.Go check this place out! I might see you there. Ill be the one scarfing down a Grande Frommage with an Elderflower Cava cocktail. ;-)
