We have had great experiences buying shoes and accessories for ballet. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and does not push anything but works hard to find what fits and looks the best. Emily has been great to work with!

The employees here at DWC are very helpful and friendly. This is important when you need to get proper sizing and fit for dance shoes. It seems that most of the employees are dancers, so they speak from experience.The store carries a decent variety of items in sizes for kids and adults. The location right off of 408 makes coming here very convenient as well.

My 1st experience was great. I called 1st and the young lady I spoke to gave good advice. When I arrived I was given the same advice from anothe young lady. Everyone was nice and personable.

Had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service. I only knew I needed ballet shoes, and sales Associate Jill greeted me on my way in, she was very patient,and knew what questions to ask and listened. She knew what to offer, never felt up sold. Called yesterday morning to place a last minute order for my daughter and they had it ready, and delivered it curbside, in right at an hour!This morning, the president of the company emailed us thanking us for our business during these times. We’ve never had this happen before! So appreciative of their hard work and will continue to shop there from now on. So glad we didn’t buy from amazon and chose to shop locally instead!

We arrived and were not greeted by the two employees at the desk. I waited beside the counter for over 7 minutes without being acknowledged. When I was finally spoken to, it was to be directed to another area to wait. The four staff were not welcoming and never once smiled or thanked us for coming in. I was greatly disappointed as their inventory was highly recommended. The employee seemed reluctant to speak with or assist us. We spent 45 minutes here and only had a few questions answered and left empty-handed. I waited patiently and after about 7 minutes, could have been more, I was asked if I was ready to checkout by a tall woman with long hair in a high ponytail. My hands were empty. I replied with the items for which I was searching. I was directed to the tights wall as well as to go wait near benches in another part of the store.The others with me entered the other side of store to browse and, though eye contact was made between the staff member and the customer, the employee did not speak to her or offer assistance.After looking over the tights wall, those with me approached the desk and inquired about the bathroom and were accurately directed by the dark haired associate. We did not locate our needs on this wall, though it may have been present.After standing in the shoe area, I was rather quickly asked if I needed help by the same staff member that made eye contact but did not engage the customer with me. She was younger, I do not recall other details.The tall pony tailed employee approached with the items requested of the younger staff. The younger staff never reappeared. The pony tailed staff seemed reluctant to engage with us. She mentioned details of the shoes we needed, but was not able to produce a similar/different color product for us to view and try in store. We were having to ask for more closely related items, these were not offered, so the customer service seemed quite poor. It was as though she did not wish to engage with us and was being quick, short and dismissive.We entered with hopes of purchasing all of our needs: leotards, tights pairs, several split sole slipper pairs, accessories. By the time we finally did obtain this help, our minds were made up not to purchase anything from this store. My party kindly completed the interaction. However due to the lack of acknowledgement upon entry, as we browsed, at the tights wall, and the difficult encounter with the shoes we left empty handed.We were the only people of color in the store and it definitely feels as though this was the difference in how we were treated. The store was highly recommended by a dance school owned by a person of color and we were very hopeful going into the experience. We were sorely disappointed and, though we appreciate you reaching out, cannot in good faith return or recommended anyone else to this location.Thank you for reaching out. I hope you can make the appropriate changes to avoid this reoccurrence.Alexia

I was skeptical about this Dance shop but when I went inside it was amazing! They have plenty of staff waiting to greet you and take you right where you needed to go rather than wonder around the store aimlessly. It was a pretty big store with a lovely selection of dance attire. Staff was extremely helpful and polite also.

Another great fitting! We must have tried on every point shoe in the building! We found just the right ones. Savanna took her time with my daughter and made her feel welcome and important. Their customer service is on key!! I live 70 miles away and was looking for some specific style leotards. I called and told them what I was looking for to determine whether I should take the long drive. They were nice enough to take pictures of some of their leotards and emailed them to me. Great service. Made the most of an opportunity of being in the vicinity when travelling front the UK to buy a type of dance shoe for my daughter, not ordinarily sold back home. The staff member who attended to us was very pleasant and really took into consideration my daughters thoughts on the fit of the shoe, adjusting where necessary. We plan to come back on our next visit in a few years time

This store has just about everything. The only thing I couldnt find was R.A.D certified Ballet charachter skirt. Other then that the store is very clean and organized and the workers are very helpful.

I’m not sure if the lady who was there during my visit owned the store but she was very attentive and let me know about all sales and frequently asked if she could help me. The only thing I wish is that they carried more popular brands. I’m not sure if they can’t because it seems so heavily tied with Capezio? But I would’ve loved to see leotards by Grishko inside. However super nice store!Edit: I have been coming here for about 8 months now and they finally carry a lot more Grishko/Nikolay products! So I gave a 5/5 stars instead of 4/5 because truly I am so happy.

It has taken me a few months before I actually did an review. I wanted to be fair with a clear mind. This company took me through so much and I will never order from here again. It was my first time ordering from this company. I normally order from Dance Wear Solution but they had an overlay I really loved. I place my order like a week and a half before we actually needed them. I paid 65 to do a 3 days shipping thinking it would be here in plenty of time. They sent me an email after day 3 saying some not ALL but some of my items are being shipped. I called the company the next day in which they told me that some of my items were not available. I immediately questions why the site did not advise me of this at the time of the order because I would have not order them at all. As if my story is not long enough and could be longer but to shorten this. I did not receive my remaining items until a month later. This was very inconvenient to my minister. I paid for 3 day shipping for nothing. I feel that it would be professional for the site to say what items are and are not available at the time of purchase. The company did not want to do anything for me or try to rush my items until I called over and over again. I finally got the remaining items that were not the right size. The overlays were very pretty. Although the ran small. They had ribbon on the side shoulder hanging down but those strings could have looked better. They looked like something from arts and crafts. I will continue to order from Dance Wear Solution because as soon as I select my items it tells me if they are available and if they are not when they will arrive.

The service has been great both times we went in. We were able to get a last minute appointment for my daughters shoe fitting and the service was perfect. The selection of all you might need dance oriented is fabulous and they always have what we need.

If you have the time and a ballerina that needs pointe shoes, this store helps you choose one with the right support. The prices may appear high, but this is premium quality dance wear and well-worth the price. Definitely recommended!

I buy all of my daughter’s dance gear here. They have a decent and varied selection of dance shoes and attire. They have nice fitting rooms and a clean bathroom. The women that work there are always attentive and helpful.

So helpful to me who knows nothing about dance stuff when my daughter was getting into dance. They took their time in fitting my daughter with shoes. They were really great with her and the girls there are dancers and not just sales people. So they are knowledgeable about what is needed for people like me.

Okay let me tell you the reality of this place. First, their prices are not a little high, they are more like extremely overpriced! However, I still decided to order with them using their online source to give the business to a local company. But, when the order arrived I quickly realized I was short one pants for one of my male dancers. Therefore, I did the only thing I could think of doing and contacted the provider (Dancewear Corner). They told me that all they could do for me is issue a refund of the $20.00 I paid for the pants online and want to charge me $40.00 for a replacement pants. So, this would mean that the end up gaining an additional $20.00 in the exchange. This is extremely ridiculous! They didnt even try to meet me half way on their crazy prices seeing that they were the ones that fowled up on my order. This is just pour LUDICROUS!

We stopped in for shoes and we were promptly acknowledged and helped. We also picked up a couple of leotards while we were there. The dressing room was a bit small and there was no bench, which made trying on (for a child) a bit tricky, but it was clean. The woman in charge (manager/owner?) was super kind and granted us a 10% discount on our total purchase. Id gladly return for future dance wear needs, even though its 45+ min from where I live.

I have been going to Dancewear Corner for years. Since they have moved to Orlando, I felt they really improved on product and service. Every time I shop there, they assist me until I have all I need. I am a studio owner and I send my parents there as well. They genuinely care and are very passionate about their service to their customers. Great place for dance wear!

This is an amazing store... very well managed. I didnt have to search for sizes, everything was in proper order. The store is clean...the staff was very helpful, happy & very courteous.

Wow! These ladies were so amazing, helpful, and enjoy helping anyone who comes in. Truly the best experience in a retail store in quite some time. If you have any dancing needs this is the place to go. The ladies that helped me and my girls were invested in making sure they got the best bang for their buck and even made suggestions for additional purchases that make sense. For example, they brought up about having a back pair of tights. I wouldve overlooked something so simple. For two girls one in ballet and one in jazz I spent right at $200 and thats fully geared up with a few backups for wearable gear. Oh and to top it off they have a rewards club too!

I orginally went to the store 2 weeks before my daughters summer intensive training was scheduled to begin to pick up ballet and jazz shoes. My 10yr old has very long and narrow feet so the girl who assisted had to special order the shoes for me. Transaction went smooth and customer service on point as always. Saturday, (2 days before training begins) I swing by again to pick up my order only to realize that the shoes are still the wrong fit. I was freaking out to say the least since I had ran out of time for being the procrastinator that I am. However, a girl by the name of Katana came to my rescue. She went to the back of the store and used her experience and knowledge of the different brands, styles, and fits to find the perfect shoe for my little dancer. I was so impressed by her quick thinking and knowledge of the products they carry at the store. Katana saved the day! Thanks a million.

I went today to the store at 3:30pm, but I was totally ignored by the manager a lady that looks to be in charge, I was waiting to be attended and the manager called another of the employees to help a lady that came after I did. I told the manager excuse me about 4 times and she didnt even acknowledged finally she looks into the distance and I told her I thought I was next and she look into the distance again, and she replied ok. Didnt even look at me. but she did nothing to address the issue. I left the store without saying a word. If you dont want to cater to minorities, please put a sign outside and we wont go into your store again. Me personally wont visit that store ever again.

I ordered two pairs of shoes online, and the following day was told they were out of stock, and would ship within 4-9 business days. My bank account had already been charged, and I was stuck. It has now been 8 days since I ordered, and it appears that my order will ship sometime in 3-4 more days. Their customer service rep apologizes, but reminds me this is their policy, which is stated under their FAQs. I wont purchase from them again unless I have weeks until I need the items, and even then I think Ill just go to Amazon or another retailer. As it turns out, my daughter wont have her dance shoes in time for class. In this day and age, this is not good customer service.
