Tried Shaka donuts today and we had a delicious experience. My boys were amazed by all the colorful creative selection of donuts they had. We tried a few flavors with the wipe out and the OG being our favorites. It was super clean and the staff was kind and ready to answer any of my boys many questions. Thank you for great experience we cant wait to come back.

We came here for the first time and fell in love with the quality and taste of this donut. The taste was perfect. There wasnt any bloated or heavy feeling after eating them. They werent over sweet and the toppings had the perfect ratio to donut size making it a delicious, enjoyable donut. Its a must have for sure. Jenna treated us so nice and polite. She was very friendly and recommended by my needs. They should have more locations.

The base of these donuts is great. Very light and fluffy, however I hate to say it but they were lacking flavor in my opinion. I didn’t feel like much of the sweetness came through in the toppings. The presentation is great, staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean, but unfortunately these donuts just didn’t do it for me.

Wow! Were visiting from out of town and I wanted to check out a local donut place. These might be the best donuts Ive ever had. The dough is super light, and the flavor options are really interesting. My only regret is we didnt get more donuts to try. The aloha fritter is particularly delicious. If you like tropical flavors I highly recommend. Also, the house blend coffee is fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised that they had oat milk for it as well. Wish we lived closer!

Cool little spot near the intersection of Michigan and Orange serving Hawaiian/Polynesian inspired donuts and excellent coffee — in short, I am in loveeee.Service was chill - Brandon, our donutista, offered great suggestions, wore a mask, and made pleasant company for a sluggish morning.Parking is easily accessible heading East on Michigan or from the Advent building on Orange, which backs up to the shop.Prices are comparable to other hand-crafted donut spots and perfect for a quick breakfast run. They’re opening up an ice shop next door in the near future and I’m already excited!

HOW DID I NOT DISCOVER THIS GEM SOONER? I’m pretty upset that I didn’t find this place sooner, but better late than never 🤷🏽‍♂️.The place is so modern-themed, which is cool ✌🏽. The young lady that helped us was helpful, welcoming and kind. The donuts? CRAZY DELICIOUS, not to mention they’re made fresh-to-order! Warm, right-kind-of-sweet, cool flavor combos, and a texture sent from heaven. I’ve tried many chain and private owned donut shops around town, and honestly none compare to what I tried for the first time today, hands-down, in my book I’d vote and call this THE BEST DONUT IN ORLANDO! 🍩

I really wanted to like this place but I was very disappointed in the donuts I had ordered for Easter. It was my first time coming here, I ordered 2 boxes of their special peep Easter donuts, I paid $57.51 for 12 donuts. They were suppose to be ready at 8 am, they were not ready when I got there. I didnt leave there until 8:36am, no problem I understand things happen. The donuts were very doughy and were not sweet, they were suppose to be 4 with filling but there wasnt much filling at all. Nobody in my family really cared for any of them, we were really disappointed.

This place is always out of so many things. The past 4 times weve tried to go theyve been out of so much and one time they even closed early, this was about noon time because they ran out. This place is good if only they would learn how to properly stock and order food. Id give it 5 stars they would just improve that issue. Why even stay open until 6 pm if they run out of so much halfway through the day. So definitely called ahead if you dont want to be sad when you arrive.

Great donuts, my usual stop. I treated my family and office alike weekly to these treats for months. Until now. New ownership? Been in FIVE times in the last 2 weeks and order is wrong every time. Make sure you check your order before you leave and speak slowly. Talk any more educated than a 5th grader and the young woman at the counter will suddenly become a flopping fish and take a trip to space. She is the only one I’ve seen lately, God help her if she is the new owner, might be high as a kite when you go in and new dough recipe heeds undercooked, underwhelming donuts. Her ice shop employees must be related, dumbfounded and glazed over when taking your order. Incompetent help leads to taking home donuts with toppings that I specified my husband was allergic to

I had two donuts and a cold brew. Their donuts are made to order (they fry them after you order) so they come out fresh and warm! I got an original glaze and a samoa (caramel icing, coconut flakes, chocolate drizzle). The donuts have a fresh out of the oven, cake-like consistency, and they are flavorful and slightly crispy. I wish that they were a little fluffier. I think they dont rise as much as a regular donut because of the quick frying process. However, this makes them seem ever so slightly undercooked. Im sure theyre cooked enough, but this is just my preference.I had the cold brew with oat milk and 3 pumps of caramel and it was good.Just an FYI, they do not have WiFi. All things considered, I would say the place is worth checking out.

I wouldnt say Im a wide reaching donut connoisseur by any means, but Ive tried my fair share, especially here in Orlando. Ive always been a diehard Donut King fan, and Voodoo Donut is special, too. Both of them, along with Valhalla, Salty Donut, and all other local donuts spots have to move over, though - these are the best donuts in Orlando. Theyre maybe a touch short on toppings on some of their donuts given the thick fluffiness of the base donut, but who cares? The texture of that base donut is unlike anything Ive ever had. Spectacular. I got a salted caramel, sour cream, a pineapple fritter, and a few others I cant remember the names of. All phenomenal.I generally think of donuts as a relatively cheap breakfast option, good to pick up as a relatively affordable treat for the family. The price is REALLY high (no discounts whatsoever on volume [i.e. lower per donut price for one dozen], which is a bit off-putting; all donuts are priced individually at an average of probably $2.50-3.00 per donut), so this wont be a frequent stop for me. But when you create something this delicious, who can blame them for their high prices? These are art in donut form, and Im definitely looking forward to my next eventual visit.

These donuts are made fresh to order which is great. They come in unique toppings and flavors for a reasonable price especially since they’re handmade every time. They’re warm, crispy and and the first bite is delicious. The reasons why I left out two stars were the following: There is a long wait time and they suggest to order ahead to pick up because they make them by hand in the moment. We didn’t know about this until we drove there and saw the sign on the front door. Also, the texture reminds me of carnival donuts but supersized. It’s not your typical doughy donut, I think that’s why I could only handle eating one - it’s overly sweet and too oily since they are deep fried. I got 3 donuts for myself out of the half of dozen and could barely get through the first one which was the OG donut. I would probably come here one more time, and to only get one donut.

Sometimes you go somewhere on a whim and have a life changing experience. Today is about Shaka Donuts.Atmosphere: The inside is a very attractive millennial bakery scene: white walls, light wood table tops, black hardware. The coziness comes from the warm welcome you receive by walking into the store and interacting with the people behind the counter. They will walk you through every donut and give their own suggestions!Taste: A sweet donut is a sweet donut but this shop’s specialty is in their savory options. On the weekends they serve the Errthang which is an everything bagel with cream cheese but on an unglazed donut. This is a game changer, the taste of the everything seasoning mixed with the pure fluffiness of the donut is an otherworldly experience. The second time I went I got the jalepeño business which are savory jalepeño donut holes that you dip in a chipotle aioli and they are SO addicting. This place is so good I hesitate to tell anyone about it because I kind of want to be greedy.Price: varies by donut, most of them are in the 2-3 dollar range. These are specialty donuts and they truly are special. Also I ate all my donut so like I didn’t have anything to show for it

The long awaited Shaka Donuts is finally open!! We were first in line this morning to check out these tasty lil donuts and were not disappointed! The menu boasts 14 different topping combinations, 3 breakfast sandwiches, and tons of coffee/espresso drinks. At the center of it all are delicious little freshly made cake donuts that are light/fluffy but have a nice crisp to them.We ordered 4 donuts - Samoa, PUA, Wipe Out, & Mayor Buddy Dyers Nutty Buddy. All were very enjoyable, with Wipe Out (fruity pebbles - yum!) & Mayor Buddy Dyers Nutty Buddy being the standouts. My only suggestion for the PUA donut would be more bacon (seriously can never have enough!). Cant wait to come back and try more donuts!

I visited this store today and it looks super nice and appealing until you walk in, the small dark screens towards the opposite end of where you are suppose to start your order makes it hard to know what they sell, and because we didn’t know what to order we had to ask, the problem was that we asked Amy, who was probably tired and had no patience for first timers, she basically kicked us out without saying get out. I left without trying the doughnuts, I feel bad for the owner who put a lot of money in this place and it’s basically racing to zero if he keeps this kind of employees.

What a great new spot!! We have been waiting for months for this place to open and been super excited for it! Finally saw them open their doors and were able to head in less than a week after their open. The parking lot is smaller, so it was a little challenging to get a spot as this place has had a popular opening (which is good news!). There was a line to order, which was fine as we needed to look over the menu of options. They have both handheld menus and a board that shows the options as well.We decided to get four different donuts to try out - Beach Bum, The OG, Big Island, and B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Our personal fave was the beach bum, which was super tasty as a sugar and cinnamon coated classic donut. I went to Shaka Donuts on Saturday, January 1, 2020, which also happened to be their first day in business. I was greeted with a crowd outside the door, and friendly staff who, despite being super busy, stopped to say hello. I knew it was their soft opening because they made an announcement on their social media and I admire that they had shortened hours in order to review their processes and fix any kinks along the way. This shows that they really want a good experience for the customers and don’t mind learning and growing along the way. The donuts were really good. They are more cake-like and not too sweet or greasy, which are great with a good cup of coffee. The flavors are tropical and light, nothing too overwhelming. As a customer visiting on day one of their business, I gotta say I’m really looking forward to visiting this place more. Seems like a fun place to go to for a treat with the kids or to enjoy a cup of coffee and donut before work or after school. We will definitely be back! I also want to add that these donuts are really tasty even the next day after being reheated. To me, that is key to a good donut!
