I go here periodically to purchase food from this stores restaurant. This store offers a large and tasty variety of non-spicy Caribbean Spanish cuisine that may vary slightly from day to day. The prices are good and the restaurant boasts a large clientele. As you enter the store, the restaurant section is off to the left, housed in a serving line behind glass that allows you to view the offerings of the day.When you approach the serving line, you tell the servers what you want to order. A knowledge of Spanish is helpful, but not required. 😉 I have found the servers to be very friendly. I find it best to look at the days offerings before I enter the line, so that I will be prepared to place my order. It is best to arrive early in order to get out on time, if you dont want to have to wait in a long line. 😊 But, since the food is tasty and the prices are so good, no one seems to mind the wait. 🤭 Payment for your meal is made at one of the stores cashiers. They accept debit and credit cards, as well, as cash.The seating area is not fancy, but offers diners a moderate amount of seats.

Chicken was very hard and cold with no taste and pasta was very salty and undercooked

Great place for take out, Latin food. The price is unbeatable. Its informal, dont expect tablecloths. But if you dont feel like cooking, or simply refuse to learn how (like me) this is the best!

I love the hot food! The ladies cook very well and are nice. The supermarket itself could use an update and some prices are ridiculous. But convenient for finding spanish products. Be careful when purchasing the meats and veggies (sometimes old and/or rotten) as for the staff they are usually very helpful.

The cooked food is delicious and inexpensive! Primarily hispanic so not much communication on my end as I am not a Spanish speaker. From what I could gather everyone was friendly. I saw some good deals on produce and meat as well.

Hands down the best Dominican food in the city. Located inisde a Latin grocery store, this neighborhood located cafeteria style place has some of the best cooking aunts, grandmothers and mothers in the area. If your mom cant help you, this place is here to fill in.

Definitely dont recommend this place for the cooked food. The grocery store portion is ok. Groceries are cheap and staff is friendly.
