I mistakenly posted a bad review for this store. And I apologize for that. It was intended for the Holly Hill store. And I will not apologize for the way I was treated there! And I will make sure I put it in the correct place now.

Story time... there isnt a better quality employee that any manager could ask for than Karl. Courteous and professional. However, you cant have a great employee let down by an antiquated computer system and expect to succeed. Love this place and will return to deal with Karl anytime. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD UPDATE YOUR COMPUTERS...

Everybody there is knowledgeable friendly efficient stores fully stocked. If they dont have it to order it and usually have it within a few hours for you its one of my favorite stores 😁

Helpful friendly staff. They come out from behind counter to help find items. Ive done full front disk replacements; calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines. Oil changes on Chevrolet Suburban and Silverado in 15 minutes -- I prefer higher rated, higher mileage oil filters. They even had oil sender switch & special thin wall socket -- that change difficulty level 5, but fixed oil leak and saved $$$

My usual go to. Karl went from the grumpy old man to my go to guy. Very helpful and not grumpy once you get to know him. Never had a issue with this location in ormond.

I drove to Ormond beach from Dallas alone. I am clueless on how to care for a car. My oil light came on and the closet Audi dealership is over 80 miles away.The store was very busy but Karl who worked that day could tell I needed help. He said he would be out as soon as he could.He got my hood opened, added a quart of oil and off I went! So happy to know there are still kind people out here who will help when needed!Thank you so much Karl!!

ACTUALLY I WAS EMBARRASSED FOR THIS YOUNG WOMANS KNOWLEDGE DEFICIT. DENYING A CUSTOMER ACCESS TO A RESTROOM TO URINATE BECAUSE OF CORVID19 WHILE THEY ARE WAITING FOR A BATTERY REPLACEMENT IS BEYOND IGNORANT ! WE WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER BATTERY REPLACED IN THIS POORLY RUN BUSINESS WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I ordered online front brake rotors online and went their to find them ready for pick up and in great condition. The staff was extremely helpful and even offered to carry my purchase to my vehicle which I thought was going above and beyond the call of duty considering i am a 6 ft. tall male and in very good shape who is more than capable of carrying the weight of 2 rotors. If I was someone who is not too familiar with auto parts or needed any questions answered this would be the place to go to.Good Job!

I remember when Advanced Auto Parts store was a place that you could go and ask a question only a mechanic could answer and these guys could not only answer it, but go to the back and hand you the part.The last time I went in, I wanted new wiper blades for my Jeep Wrangler and the guy tried twice to get the right ones and finally had to ask the manager on duty to find them.I sent my mother there prior to this experience because she got a new car (new to her) and over the phone she said the car wasn’t starting every time. Once I was able to meet up with her and check it out it was just that the NFC chip in the key fob was buried too deep in her purse to indicate the keys were actually in the car. The Advanced guy said she probably needed a new ignition. The dash said... “Key Not Detected”.In all honestly I can say that before my personal visit I hadn’t been in for maybe a couple of years. There could have been some extenuating circumstances surrounding this visit so I’ll give them 2 stars and another shot the next time I need parts.

Incredibly rude staff. The gentleman who helped us, Charlie, was very aggressive and unenthusiastic. We came in to address a problem with our car battery since it gave out in the heat. When he tested the battery, he didnt show us the readings and simply said needs to be replaced. My father is 64 years old and is short sighted. He placed our phone number at checkout put I noticed that the name and area code was incorrect. I pointed that they were incorrect. He was adamant that in saying that my name was Keith Payne. I wanted to work with the gentleman in correctly the nature of the problem, but my father got frustrated with his aggressive tone and decided to leave. I would not continue my business here in the future because of their unwillingness to problem solve with their customers.

Excellent Store, been using them for years. Still, I shop around online - even if theres a slightly lower price elsewhere, it doesnt stay that way. With online purch, theres Always a discount. And typically free shipping, to home or store.Also, above & beyond service: on recent order, I had pickup at wrong store, farther away & my fault. Dillon (store #9465) had it corrected & delivered to the right store within 45 mins. And called back to let me know! ( I had told them no rush, especially since it was my fault. But they took care of business like I was their best customer!) And its been like this, at least for me, for over 25+ years.Highly Recommend.

Best auto parts place around,I have been going to this location above all other auto parts retailers in the Volusia area and Im certain this has the best employees. They are the least lazy and most knowledgeable! The rest of the places around seem to have people who just really dont care and mostly dont know, except the Oreillys has some alright dudes but also the most expensive prices.If you order online they are leaps and bounds cheaper than literally any other auto parts store around.

Employee was on a personal call while I was waiting to check out. He was also talking to me while on the phone, oblivious to the fact that I have an arm load of oil and am standing in front of a cash register.Manager had to ring me up because dude wouldnt get off the phone.
