I was buying a boat motor used the customer was coming from Jacksonville to meetme from Orlando. I was able to contact this repair shop at the last minute and have them do a motor test in the dunk tank for me. They were very accommodating and informative. The motor needed a water pump in the oil change. They fixed it in a timely manner . I will definitely recommend using them for repairs on your side-by-side ‘s, your boats and storage for your RV your boat.

Took my boat in for a 100 hour service, when I got it back I was told they had replaced the spark plugs in addition to the other service items that were done. When I got the boat back it would not run right. I ended up taking it to another mechanic and he said the plugs were not replaced. He put new plugs in it and the boat runs great. I went back to Ormond Outpost and they insisted the plugs had been changed and then said they didnt want to work on the boat anymore. In closing I will say I had been using them for my repair work and never had any problems, but I saw the plugs they insisted were new and they were obviously not. I am done with them for good as a result.

Very fun place lots of activities. They always have something going on here. I just started coming to The Outpost and Im loving it the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable a one stop shop for outdoor activities usually every Friday theres a food truck come try it out for yourself!

Spent a season or two servicing our boat here. Decided to sell the boat and the outpost did a good job making that happen. Gail was a bonus in getting the deal done. I would recommend them for all the above.

Seems secure place to store a boat but is a bit high priced with different pricing for different customers.

Very nice place, its a little bit small selection is probably considered narrow, but the staff is eager to help and to assist and it seems like they could probably get whatever it is you might want or need. They are trying to be a one-stop-shop for camping motor vehicle recreational vehicle service repair parts comma as well as gun and archery supplies and fishing. They look pretty nice selection for the size of the place.they also have an alcohol license so they have a wide selection of craft beers as well as the regular domestic.I will be going back.

Had a reunion with a group of brothers from the navy and went on the quad riding tour and this company did not disappoint us at all! They made a day out of our trip into a forever memory. The guides were very knowledgeable of the trails and made sure we had a great time, while ensuring we were safe in doing so. 5 Stars!!!

Hello fellow boaters, just had my boat worked on at the Outpost, in Ormond Beach, tried staying local but big mistake, should have looked at the reviews before taking boat there, yes I do have an (Evinrude) motor, it ran when I took the boat there and Service was terrible, after $800.00 dollars brought boat back to house, they were to check wiring but as you can see how this goes, smoking in drive way,almost on fire thank God wasnt on the water, took boat back, replaced wiring harness, they completed that, they called stated: all done, picked boat up took to ramp, boat has no power, back firing, now doesnt even RUN,and never water tested or ran it in front of me, spoke with manager SCOTT wasnt to worried about customer complaints, I guess so since I already paid 1 person salary for 2 weeks what I was charged for service. Anyways I can keep on going, please please fellow boaters go elsewhere, for better service, trained mechanics, and professionalism

Awesome and fast service!! Justin and Julie took great care of me. Brought in my Honda outboard with a fuel issue and they got everything fixed quickly. Thank you guys great job!!!

Had a gooseneck hitch installed here and couldn’t be happier! Julie and Justin were very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. Had no idea about how much they offer. Happy to have found them.

Put my boat and to have an ignition switch fixed it took twice as long as they said and when they did call they broke the starter housing changing the starter gear which was unapproved by me and told me it was going to cost another $300 to fix their mistake so they gave me my boat back charged me $300 to do a simple ignition switch fixed with about six wires and and with my boat broken or another $300 to get my boat back in the same shape I give it to them would never have anything worked on it this place ever again by far the worst mechanic Ive dealt with theres better mechanics out there look elsewhere

Horrible the place charged my card for the full amount even though over half the amount was paid in cash, and then realized it but failed to tell me while I was waiting for my purchase and instead of trying fix things he said well you can come get your money back!!!! I will never shop there.

Beware of what you buy here. Bought a refurbished trailer ($1000) here. Under the new paint was all rust. First time on the road a tire shredded, other one ready to go, and a step fell off some where along the road. Owner (Scott)would do nothing, said well it’s not COMPLETLY refurbished. No warranty, no service. We had to leave our boat on the interstate and go find and install 2 new tires. Other owner (Justin)never did do what he promised to be there and have everything ready. He was out on the golf course and nothing was done. They are disorganized taking 1 1/2 to find paperwork & keys. Very poor business practices.

Dont take an Evinrude here. After 8 days they told me they fixed it and charged me $200 (minimum). I took my boat out the next day and it had the same problem as soon as I turned it on. I called them to let them know it still had the same problem and they said they dont work on Evinrudes and to take it to another mechanic. Didnt offer to refund my money or anything. The store is cool though...

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any business. I planned to buy a boat from a relative in town who kept it in dry stack storage and didn’t have a trailer. I called around and right away got up with Justin at Ormond Outpost. He indicated that he had a couple of trailers that would fit the boat but that one in particular would work great - an alumninum trailer that he was going to completely refurbish. I told him that I was planning to drive 10 hours down from Birmingham, AL to pick up the boat and I needed to be sure that it would be ready for pickup and that there wouldn’t be any issues when I got there. My relative went by and put a deposit down on the trailer and talked to him and was, again, assured that refurbishments were well underway and that it would be “like a brand new trailer” by the time I made it down there. I was asked to go ahead and send over a copy of my drivers license so that they could have all the paperwork done when I got there given my short timeframe in town, which I did immediately. I’m sure you see where this is going. We got to the store on Saturday morning and asked the lady working the front desk if we could talk to Justin and told her that we were there to pick up a trailer he’d been working on and the paperwork should already be complete. She responded that he was unavailable and that she would get the paperwork started. Zero exaggeration - we waited 45 minutes for her to fill out the one page document that I needed to sign to purchase it. We were already a little irritated at this point and running late to pick up the boat and questioned why this was not already done and what the holdup could possibly have been, but were given no response. We were finally told where the trailer was on the premises so we walked out to look at it. I couldn’t believe it. The thing was unfunctional. The bunks and support beams were held together by mounds of duck tape, the front wheel was missing rendering it impossible to crank the front end up high enough to get a hitch under, and the tongue was badly rusted. The only thing that had been done to it was to replace the wheels - which they did with a set that would likely blow under the load of a lawn-mower (rated for far less weight than the boat we were there to pick up). I genuinely cannot fathom what they thought was going to happen...did they really think we were going to pay them and drive away with it in that condition? I wouldn’t have made it 20 miles. After several inquiries we finally got Justin to come out of the hole he was hiding in. He made no legitimate efforts to remedy the situation. Just said “Oh. Yeah looks like we dropped the ball here,” at which point it was obvious that we had no choice but to leave and try to figure something else out. In the end, we were forced to drive up to B&G trailers (who were very professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable by the way) and purchase a new trailer. Please let our awful experience with these morons save you the headache of having anything to do with them.

I recently purchased a used boat here the ad said just serviced the salesman lied to me numerous times to me saying there was a blown fuse on the trolling motor, the compression was 150 lbs on all cylinders on the motor, I got the boat home started going through it changed lower unit oil it was black and milky,had not been changed, checked the engine compression highest was 120lbs on 1 cylinder checked the trolling motor no fuse electric motor was dead not impressed would not reccomend this place at all !
