Front office personnel is real helpful getting the information and setting up appointments and getting your questions answered. The office is kept clean and neat and a relaxing place to wait for your appointment. When it’s your time hearing Specialist ( ED Pitre) greats you and takes you to exam room. He talks with you to find out what you’re looking to do and he goes to work with testing and fine tuning ear instruments for you. Ed is very professional and lots of knowledge. The great service Ed does is give you a call the next day to see how you’re doing with the new hearing aids. The personnel in this office makes it a great place to do business with. 😊

I had a great experience at the Hopkins hearing Institute. Ed is a very warm and personable person and really knows how to make a person feel comfortable and obviously knows what he is doing. The staff was excellent they were always prompt and courteous never had an issue. The hearing aids that were provided to me are great it’s amazing if you let things go this long and then you put those on and you see what you’ve been missing. I would highly recommend visiting this office.

Excellent experience! Ed provided a very thorough hearing exam (for free!) and determined that I had only very minor hearing loss in one ear, no hearing aids necessary at this point. He did not try to sell me anything, just an honest exam/diagnosis at no cost. This speaks very highly of this business. I will be back in the future for checkups.

Let me start out by saying that I was truly impressed with the level of professionalism and courtesy that I received on my first visit. I have gone to several other hearing centers in my area and was thoroughly discussed with the lack of competence and expertise they demonstrated. Their hearing test was less than stellar and it seemed that all that they wanted to do was sell me their product and kept pushing me to make a decision without any comparisons to other products. My experience with Ed Pitre was completely the opposite. Based on my hearing loss Ed recommended three different manufactures and we discussed in detail the pluses and minuses of each. I was then ability to try each one and make the decision as to which one suited me best based on my hearing needs and my finances without the sales pressure that I experienced from the other hearing centers. I live a considerable distance from Hopkins Hearing Institute’s Ormond Beach location but it was definitely worth the trip. Gary T.

Getting hearing aids is no fun, but sorry to say they are a necessary evil. Ive had hearing aids for over 10 years but rarely wore them . Ed and Stephanie made getting new ones a great experience . They are friendly and knowledgeable . I highly recommend Hopkins Hearing Inst. because now I have hearings aids I actually wear.
