Ive usually had a very pleasant experience here. Till this year when I went to get my motorcycle worked on. Even though theyve always been the one to work on my 1995 Suzuki Intruder, that I bought at the one in Ellsworth. I was informed that they wont work on motorcycles that are older than 2005s I believe

Customer service is fast. In and out for an inspection sticker unscheduled in under 20 minutes. The parts department is very knowledgeable and knows what you need even if you dont. Great place.

New to the area and brought my bike in for a clutch repair. Told the service technician that the oil, clutch plates, discs, and springs were completely new. Was told no problem and they would take a look. Picked up the bike 4 hours later and was told the repair was extremely simple and quick, the plunger on the lever was misaligned. Clutch worked great. Shocked that the bill was over 200 dollars. I got the bike home and notice engine oil everywhere. Drain plugs were not tight, nor was the skid plate removed for an oil change that wasnt even required. Very shoddy work and there was zero explanation of the work performed and the subsequent charges. I havent been to a motorcycle dealership in almost a decade. Experiences like these confirm why. I will not be back.

Very pleasant sales and service experience. Dan in the service department went above and beyond to fix an electrical issue and improve brake feel on my motorbike. He seemed genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of both problems and communicating the underlying causes. I havent had a major service with Friend & Friend, but they have happily accommodated minor services and are quick about getting the bike back on the road. The service rates arent cheap, but Ive been happy with the quality of the work.

My mother (now in her 60s) called for a battery and the service department told her she would need to buy a pit pass for them to put it in. The quote started at $900+ and after she questioned them they lowered the quote to $500+. Shes owned a bike for at least the last 40 years and has always gone to Friend & Friend for everything. I told her never go back! There are companies that appreciate commitment and obviously Friend & Friend is not one of them.

Had a good experience with the sales staff they gave me a good deal and helped streamline the process as I traveled almost two hours to buy a machine from them. So far so good will buy from them again if the opportunity presents itself.

Terrible customer service, dropped atv tires off at 3pm on Friday was told they would be done at 930 am Saturday. I showed up at 1030 and tires were still sitting outside ( no work had been done on them ) was told I was next in line ( should have been first ) waited untill 1100 asked how much longer and they said the person doing the changing was still doing tires for a dirt bike, I looked into shop and person on tire machine was standing talking to a customer and not doing anything, needless to say I pulled my tires and left . Stay far away from this place they have no customer service !!!!!

Please upgrade computers to match the help! Slow computers were no help to the service provided. Fast, on time, courteous bike service dept.

Brought my scooter that I originally bought off their lot for a tune up and br road ready for the season. $688 later I drive it home and its groggy and consumes alot of fuel. So I call them back and they told me to bring it back. I break down on my way. They pick me up less than one mile away. I leave it and receive a call back at end of day.Nothing wrong with it I personally test drove it it runs great. I show back up and they try to present me with another damn bill for labor. I was flabbergasted. Ken, the service manager, knew it was bogus, and told me not to worry about it, that he would take care of it. Well needless to say I still have the same leak that I brought it in for and it doesnt run great all the time. Unfortunately there isnt anyone else in tiwn who does quality work either so im forced to bring it to Augusta now.

Great experience with a particular salesman, Connor. I bought my first ever toy just couple weeks ago. After selecting the 2016 Polaris sportsman 570, Connor made sure I was taken care of throughout the whole process. The Parts department and Travis are perfect, they are knowledgeable and professional. The one small issue I have had is with the service department when I called and asked for advise on a light system, I was essentially told that there is nothing I can do about it (he really just didnt know what he was talking about) rather than using his resources, he just stumbled his way through the conversation. This lack of knowledge from the service advisor is not a huge deal, I would just like a little more effort to answer my small question. Overall I am happy with the overall experience with Friend and Friend

These guys rock! Got stranded out on the highway with a nail in the tire of my wifes bike on the way to Nova Scotia. It was late in the afternoon, Harley dealer had already told us they were closing, and they wouldnt be open again till Tuesday (this was Saturday).The team at Friend and Friend stayed late and waited for us to get there. Not just one, person, but three! They took the bike in changed the tire, and the price was great! I had ridden through the rain to get there and was soaked, the even greeted me with a dry shirt!This dealership is accurately named! They were very friendly, very helpful and they know customer service!!!Thank you guys for helping save our trip!!!

Extremely pushy sales people to the bbn point that they became really creepy stalkers. Persisted long after i told them i have bought a Polaris elsewhere for over $1000 less. Almost had to take out a protection order. Prices are way higher than Coveside in Newport. Bad bad company to deal with. Leave me alone guys!

Service Department is a joke. They lie through their teeth. Completely inept. They intentionally tried to double charge us for rear wheel bearings, lied about having them in stock, lied about having them over-nighted, damaged a completely good part brought to them and then tried to say it was already damaged and charged hundreds for those replacement parts as well. They never, not once, called to give an update on the progress including on Friday when they said they had to order new parts but now it was too late in the day to order, when a simple phone call that morning when they had that information would have solved that problem. A simple 1 hour and $100 rear wheel bearing job turned into $700+ and a week+ of waiting, and when the Service Writer was informed of this he got hostile and aggressive, lucky he didnt catch one. I wouldnt let these jokes work on my lawn mower let alone my bike. Youre better off taking your Yamaha to the Honda dealer! Sad!

If I could leave less then 1 star I would. I work in service and the way they treat a customer after spending 28k on a machine is so disrespectful and makes you feel like you dont matter a week after purchase. My machine will never be back. And that will be my last purchase through them.

I recently bought a bike and had problems with it stalling out mid drive. They came out and picked it up one day when I was stranded and the technician told me that he thought the connection to the starter was bad. A couple of days later it did the same thing after being worked on for 3 days. Come to find out that I was told my bike had no problems but the technician felt bad cuz it was stuck in 6th gear and didnt want to have to tell me. The technician lied to me and kept my bike for days to pretend to look at it. When I spoke with them again the second time it died they told me about the technician lying and not liking confrontation. As I got more angry the kid on the phone told me it was my own fault for getting it stuck in 6th gear on the highway. One problem with that...my bike has 4 gears and Ive never taken it on the highway. I had 3 different people say thats what I did to it. Not only that but the technician drove it on the trailer so how was it stuck in an imaginary 6th gear? Its been a joke since I bought it and every time I talk to someone they give me a different diagnosis. But in the end they always make it my fault. Never going again.
