Very sad to say they lost me as a customer today. I remodeled my home all the way to the studs And have purchased all my items through them, have spent thousands upon thousands here and they sold me the worst set of failing leaky French doors ever. When I asked for a credit passed the return date because of the damage done to my home, I’ve been hung up on, refused to be given numbers for higher ups, and literally no help. I’ll be doing all my business finishing up the last of my home through someone else. Do your self a favor and do not go through Home Depot, cause if you have a problem they definitely don’t care.

This is a fairly well equipped Home Depot. Stock has been up to par and a good selection of different brands for pretty much everything.

Customer pay by phone is great service cuts down on book keeping seasonal items are. There on time

Dont buy installation servives through Home Depot. We paid $13,000 in labor and materials to install new flooring. Stair caps that cost $60 each were hacked and butchered and had to be replaced. There were exposed edges and $500 in materials was ruined. There is also an one inch bulge in a portion of the flooring because they missed a staple and some old carpet padding, so we had to tear up about thirty square feet of flooring. I could have done it better myself if I had the time.

The place is well stocked and well lit but no employee asked me if they could help me the entire 45 minutes that I was in there looking for a new showerhead or preferably a filter for the one I have.

The staff are always very helpful at Home Depot. Sometimes there are issues with their self-service propane tank dispenser. Right away a sales associate came to my rescue and fulfilled my purchase. It was 108° outside that day!

Poor customer service in the wood department. I asked for help and they just told me what I was looking for was on the back wall somewhere. So thats nice. Also bought a lawnmower and the store associate had to open the box so we could see if it came with oil. When I was checking out another associate ran over Almost full sprint, and started going through my box. Didnt say hello can I check the box. she didnt say a word. Just opened my box, went through it and then walked away. So unprofessional. I absolutely despise The Home Depot.

Home Depot is always consistent, seems to be well-stocked even door during the pandemic. I still find it hard to find somebody for help, especially when you just want to run in for just one or two items. I wonder if other people have that same problem?

Most HD stores (with the exception of the Yuba City store) are better stocked than their competing Lowes stores. I generally shop for electrical supplies and I usually buy from electrical supply outlets; however, the Yuba-Sutter County area electrical suppliers are closed on weekends, so HD is an acceptable alternative, but, I find myself shopping the Chico, Oroville or Woodland stores to avoid the aggravation of going to the HD in Yuba City.

Great store. Has everything you need and want. Employees are Awesome. Prices are reasonable.

I really enjoy shopping at Home Depot in oroville. We usually bring our dog with us and everyone is always so nice. Today I had Kristen in the garden department and she was extremely unfriendly. No hello, no thank you, no goodbye just here ya go and hands me the receipt. It’s really too bad to have people like her ruin a great place.

Hit and miss if they have what you need due to theft and loss. Call ahead if you need a specific piece or item to reserve it if you canBuy online and pick up at store is another good option. For big items home delivery...

Horrible experience attempting to buy a refrigerator. First one delivery canceled. 2nd one came damaged 3rd one the day b4 delivery all of a sudden the order for the replacement wasnt placed. Said we had to call whirlpool. I know the delivery is not homdepot. But they choose the company to make the delivery and they are doing horrible. And saying we have to get ahold of whirlpool to order a replacement is not the way it should work. I ordered a item from home depot they should be seeing it through that it makes it to us. Learning our lesson more and more need to stay away from big box stores. Poor customer service home depot!!!

Returned a behr cabinet paint that was not mixing right, constantly separated. The counter person said he didnt see anything wrong, the other said he could see the issue. Wouldnt repair or refund my purchase. I got the manager and she got me a refund. Will not buy behr paint again, and sad about the return, as a general contractor one of the things I liked about home depot is there returns...so much for that...back to Benjamin Moore paints in chico...

This is not the first bad experience that Ive had with this Home Depot but this was by far the crowning glory of fail.We live an hour out of town, and we went in to buy paint, evaporative cooler, and stuff to patch the driveway among other things. For starters, we could not find an employee to help with the coolers, then we got the most apathetic, uninvested employee in the whole store to basically shrug us off. Ended up not buying a cooler here because we could not find what we needed and they didnt seem to care.The paint counter was better, they did a really good job matching paint and mixing it in the quantity needed.We then proceeded to spend the next hour on what can only be described as a scavenger hunt from hell. Tons of employees, all standing around talking, none of them sure where stuff was. Ask a question, get told an isle number. Item not there. Then another employee would direct us to another location for the same item on the other side of the store.Frustrated, hot, and exhausted, with a father in law ready to collapse in his shoes, and we proceeded to the check out with our paint and the few items that we had managed to find.WE asked to not use self check out, and yet, we ended up with a undertrained cashier using self check out to check us out. They over charged us and when I pointed it out got met with attitude. Also pointed out that self check out takes jobs away from real people, only to be met with a front end manager raising her voice at us about how shes busier when she works self check out...maybe because shes doing the work of three people?The customer is always right does not exist here. Proper courtesy does not exist here. My husband was so flustered and frustrated he swears we will not spend another dollar here, and after reading some reviews we havent had it as bad as some other customers. Do yourself a favor go to the Ace Hardware first and save yourself some time and frustration.

We were told by a sale associate they would ship an out of stock item assembled from store to home for free. Customer service refused that stating they charged 89$. My wife ordered it and it has been a few weeks with a delivery near the end of the month... note you can get free next day from the website on the same items and the item shows in stock at other retailers and home depot chico. The combination of poor service, shipping time and emoyee failures has me unwilling to return. I now drive to yuba city to ship at lowes where I have always recieved good and timely service.

Good store, organized, helpful staff. Low review b/c they are not enforcing the government mask mandate. I saw 3 customers cruising around without masks who passed multiple sales associates who did nothing. When I brought it to my checkers attention she apologetically said they have a sign up and cannot be the police. I spoke with the manager who said something similar. I said they aren’t expected to be the police but they (by law) have the responsibility to keep their employees safe! I hope no one working here is infected b/c of this inadequacy. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Im giving home depot a 1 star rating because when I check for an item it says its in stock. 3 different times I drove there and the item was not in stock. One of the items employees that work regularly in the flooring dept said that they had never seen that item in the store.I live pretty far from home depot and its very annoying to be told the item Im looking for is in stock when it isnt.Wasting an hour of my time for nothing.

Homedepot is great. The Oroville store hires as many people retired from the trades as they can. These employees are great at helping to select all that youll need for your project. Clean bathrooms. Jane in flooring goes above and beyond.
