I purchased a Glock 9mm on October 1st. My contracted stated that I couldnt pick the gun up before October 11th but it had to be picked up by October 31st. I went in to pick up my gun and was told my background check came back delayed. I was than told that if on October 31st if my background check came back either delayed or denied they would refund my money. I went in on the 31st and my status was still delayed but they refused to refund me all of my money. At best oro pawn is misleading and at worst they are down right crooks. I will never step foot in that place again!

I understand and aware that we are in quote on quote “ammo shortage and gun shortage”, but I have been seeing the shortage fading out recently, so charging over retail price for a gun or over retail price for any item for that matter is just getting ridiculous. Purchased a Walther p22 ca and paid close to $160 over retail price. Even the Low end brand hi point 9 mm I bought was sold to me nearly $120 over retail. Is it price gouging? Is it greed? Not sure why they are ridiculous overpriced but it doesn’t make me feel like it’s been fair and mutual purchase made and very unsure of continued business with them. They now have the same p22 model in store for less than $100 more than they had charged me just months prior!

I always get a good and decent deals at this place. For a loan or sale. Good staff and good stuff to buy! Recommend

I dont pawn my stuff because u always loose $ some how.but I bought my wife an awesome diamond ring for a great price here!! it needed sizing so I decided to call every jewler in Oroville to get it done.every one wanted to send it out and take a week or more.i called oro pawn back and the jewler there did it in 4 hours and it was less then 100$ THANKS ORO JEWELERY AND PAWN MY WIFE LOVES IT

My husband and I have gone here several times and bought tools, a stereo receiver and a few other things and have never had a problem with any of it. The staff is really nice the store is clean and the manager Amanda goes above and beyond for her customers. Plus they have great deals.. We will continue to shop here when we come to town.

As far as Customer Service; the staff that I dealt with, was friendly and polite. As far as the store as a whole; they really shouldnt call themselves a pawn shop. It should be more of a Gold & Silver exchange, their bottom line is to make fast cash and they dont want to deal with the small stuff nor do they want to have to wait for something to sell. They dont deal with any sort of collectable items. Example: A U.S Ment coin that is worth say $100, (as far as the U.S Ment is concered), but this store will only give you the value that the silver per ounce is at, as melted down silver. Which is pennys. There is only a bottom line to them and they wont give you a cent more. They have so many rules on what they are willing to buy/pawn that they shouldnt do it. On everything that they buy from you, they take 75% of the value. My advise; If youre needing a couple bucks, make sure that what you bring in, is of great value. If youre looking to buy something from then, know that they have; bikes, tools, TV s and jewelry..and be sure to bring a few hundred at the least with you. I hope this helps out someone.

Was wondering what they would offer for a 14.8g 10k ring after some testing they said it was closer to 6k maybe 8k? I know Jostens got so big by stamping thier gold a higher karet..... anyways offer was 100 or about 40% of scrap value what a joke hope people will go elsewhere and not get so ripped off.
