Id recommend anyone to go here who needs their car to be fixed. They are honest, hard workers and fix your car the right way. They dont lie or try to bull**** you into fixing something that doesnt need fixing. Definitely recommend this place.

After being ripped off by other auto shops in town, even one with good reviews. A friend of mine recommended his friends family auto shop. After being ripped off with bad service from other shops, I said at this point, it couldnt hurt to give them a try. And Im sure glad I did. The other auto shop gave me wrong service for the issues with my car. This shop here, finally fixed the issue. And they was even wondering why other shop were telling me the wrong info after I showed them what service I got from the other shop, the one on Jackson St across the gun store. McGovern fixed it right the first time, and was actually cheaper then the first few shops. And since then I have always taken my car into McGovern. Never ever been told a lie here, good honest people

I had to take my old Taurus in for just a regular tune up, and the staff there was very attentive, they wanted me to be interactive with them and let me know everything that was going on. At Ill tell ya this, they were very affordable. They were honest, and they even let me go and buy the parts outright to save a little on overhead. Its not a well known place, but simply by reputation and word-of-mouth do they have good business.I can tell you, I will be taking our cars there for service, tune-ups, repairs, etc.from now on.

Always good honest service, with a helpful staff for a good price

Four years ago, my wife was driving our van when it developed a mechanical problem. Two men stopped to help push it out of the road. Both of the men worked for McGoverns Auto Repair and we took the van there to be fixed. Ever since that first time their employees stopped to help, weve been loyal customers. Its a good feeling knowing that you can trust your mechanic! I would recommend McGoverns to anyone needing car repairs at a fair price.

They are amazing they fixed two of my vehicles quickly correctly and at a good price.

I can never get through to schedule appointment. Pretty sure phone is put off the hook alot of the times. Its convenient to go there, but not if I cant get through. Guess I have to go elsewhere 💁

They did work on a couple of my cars back 10+ years ago when I lived in Oshkosh. They were really reliable and the owner is trustworthy. Id take my vehicles back there if I was still in the area.

I am new to Oshkosh and needed a trusted mechanic. I surveyed about 5-6 places and asked the same question and got different responses. McGoverns answered my questions well and even gave me a tour!McGoverns impressed me from the begining and have done a great job for my wife and I over the past 2 years.Regarding the Aug. 14, 2010 review, I cant trust a review that doesnt give detail and types that many exclimation points.
