I was able to pick out whatever I wanted to buy, in any amount, even if it was only one of something. We were given samples if we wanted go try one of the many options. All of it was good. It is beautifully displayed in old cases. They had a sign up about not leaning on the glass of one of the cases, as it was over 100 years old! Its a cute little shop and is filled with delicious treats, something for everyone.

Pulled up just as they opened, first time here, if it looks busy grab a number, we were just through the door, and all the folks behind us grabbed a number, so had just a little bit of a wait. There is a large selection in a small space so be aware of others,picked out mostly dark chocolate,they do it very well.

They have the worst customer service and ship their packages so badly that they arrive in just one solid clump of what should have been dozens of pieces of chocolate. We bought over $200 of chocolates to send as gifts to relatives in Arizona. The sales lady said that they could do this and took the money including additional shipping charges for adding freezer gel packs. Oaks the shipped the order ground (rather than overnight). The package arrived hot, gel packs thawed and candy melted. When given the opportunity to make things right. The owner said go to wal-mart. they sell candy there H e refused to either ship a replacement order correctly or refund the money. Do business with them at your own peril!

Being a fellow wisconsinite ! Im sure your grandmother had a box of these chocolates at one point. My grandmother would always upcycle in color crayon boxes. This was her favorite candy store. So debunked this myth making sure this place was real hahaQuaint real old world taste, atmosphere, prices. When she told me the prices I could believe it. So fair for the qauitly & quantity. I had to buy more color crayon boxes. Aka eating the candy for myself & not with my siblings. Now I understand why she had so many boxs.-turtles 100%-salted nut cream-toffeeSo many unique choices. No wonder why its been open since the 1890s. Good nostalgic fun for everyone.Taste of old world wisconsin at the finest.

This place was a bit of a false adverteaser...did not have a very large selection of candy 🍭 persay and kind of pricey under the belt..

Great place. Pretty small but they have a lot of great options like your kids favorite sweets, roasted nuts, and lots and lots of chocolate. The prices are pretty fair for the quality they provide. They only allow 5 people in the store at once right now but they are pretty accomodating.

People are freindly and polite.

Looking for red, white, blue, and pink mints. They didnt have blue or pink. The tradition is ruined! They always have had these colors for Thanksgiving time. Now they say they wont make them Easter. What good is that?

Oaks candy corner, in humble little oshkosh, is by far the best hand made chocolate in the world. I dont say this lightly. The best in the world!

It is truly a wonderful place full of wonderful chocolate confectionaries and assorted candies. Real old school old time chocolate making. The prices are of little bit more than what youd pay in the stores, but rest assured, the quality is well worth it. We go here for Easter, Christmas, different holidays where we like a little something extra. Stop in if you ever find yourself here in Oshkosh. You wont regret it.

If youre looking for a old school confectionery there is no better one around. Wide selection of sweets that run the board from the most decedent to the more reserved line the walls in old style glass cabinets, and you cant help being swept away by the smells and charm of this local business. Knowledgeable staff are willing to assist with any questions you may have. They also offer sugar free varieties for people on a dietary restriction.

Great candies, fast service

After my husband told me he delivers bricks of chocolate to this store, I had to try them. My hubby loves the Raspberry filled and I loved the old fashion hard candy. I gave a few boxes for Christmas and it was enjoyed.

There is no other candy store like Oaks. It has the old time vibe, excellent hand made candy and my favorite peanut covered meltaways. Get there fast for hand made candy canes you cannot get anywhere else!

Best chocolate in the state of Wisconsin. Weve bought candy for our kids St. Nikolaus stocking every year. This year was our 2nd year continuing the tradition for our grandchildren. And I love my annual Valentines gift box and my annual Christmas Angel food.

I occasionally receive their assorted chocolate boxes as gifts for Valentine’s or anniversaries and it’s absolutely delicious. Some of the best chocolate I’ve tasted and I love that it’s local and fresh.

We got Oaks candy in our Christmas stockings and our Easter Baskets every year. Im 50 now and since momma passed almost a year ago, its my turn to continue the tradition. Our holidays would Never be the same without Oaks.P.S. Of course we do stop by in between those dates to grab our favorites too. Lol.

Lots of yummy delious candy. I use to come here growing up and get there candy. Mint meltaways use to be my favorite but now idk. The mint meltaways dont have much mint flavor as they use to......change it back to the old way.
