Though I love Ulta, I am forced to write a negative review. A few months ago, I brought my foster daughter in for a cut. She was trying to grow out an under cut, so I suggested a pixie. She came home with a buzz cut, like a boy would wear. The problem was that the stylist cut the back way too short, even at the crown, and the bangs, so nothing looked good. Now in May, I decided I needed a pixie myself, so I gave them another shot. Thinking I would be smart this time, I brought in pix on my phone of the cut I wanted, and pointed out to the stylist (different one) how much I liked the profile - longer in back, much like an inverted bob. While the front was nice, she absolutely butchered the back, including up to the crown! My hair in back was completely shredded - I left in a hurry, very upset, and not wanting to yell at my stylist I just went up front and paid. Came home and cried for an hour. The next morning, I called and spoke with the manager (thanks to my new Karen hair), and demanded a complete refund - not a re-style, as there was nothing left to cut. She was so kind and apologized, and assured me a refund would be fine. I had to go back with my receipt, and they did refund me, short the tip I left. I wish I could rely on Ulta for a decent cut, but for the money $$$, Ill be going elsewhere. I am so disappointed because I love shopping there, and it should have been a nice treat.

I moved here 3 years ago and needed to find a stylist. My hair was all one length and I just kept putting off getting it cut.I talked to the ladies at Ulta and felt very comfortable so I made an appointment and got Natalie. She was fabulous! I showed her a picture that I liked since I had long hair I wanted about shoulder length. She did a great job and she has now become my new stylist.

Really clean and friendly store. So much that its hard to know what to buy but also like the variety. Reasonable prices depending on what you need.

I love Ulta but this location is not great. The last 3 or 4 times I visited the employees never seemed to want to help with anything. I had a girl roll her eyes when I asked if they still did the free birthday gift during your birthday month. Makes me want to buy my makeup elsewhere.

I went into Ulta looking for a product for my eyebrows and mascara- the woman who helped me was incredibly kind and helpful! Spent a lot of time explaining different options for my eyebrows and how to use them. I absolutely love my new eyebrow brush and mascara and was very happy with my experience. Alexandra, the cashier, was also very sweet!! Will definitely be returning.

Always love going to Ulta. Best to go without any littles, its filled with so many sparkly expensive delights. I used online pickup for a special offer on Benefit mascara, it was easy and right next to the door. Staff was super helpful and I was able to get a fantastic deal. Parking lot is oddly shaped but plenty of spaces.

Two stars only because the manager Kristy handled my situation professionally. Miriam was unprofessional and a liar. Miriam also told me that today is her last day of working there because she found a new job, thats no wonder she didnt care so much and made not once but TWICE mistakes! Miriam was basically comparing apples and oranges to me. She told me she had been doing her occupation for over 15-20 years but I think its time for her to retire or go back to school. Goodluck to her and I pray she gets help and does better. I would give this store a third chance but somethings just telling me that its not worth it, even though manager Kristy offered a me complimentary service. Yes a third time can be a charm after they made a mistake twice but I dont believe its worth it. I decided to deny the complimentary service because its not about doing things for free. Its about trust!

Although the store was neat & clean...I was completely lost in there! Yes they had signs but I spent more time trying to find one thing I was looking for. You couldnt touch anything so if your new to the store its kinda difficult to know about colors or even prices without looking closer at it. A girl did ask if I needed help but honestly didnt think it was gonna be that big of a deal. Just felt uncomfortable. I will stick to online shopping on here. Gotta try tho.

Continued to follow my partner (a person of color) around the store and ask if they found everything okay, meanwhile Im white and only got asked (maybe) twice. Employees dont seem to be aware of their own sales. Compared to the other Ulta Beauty stores Ive been in, this is by far one of the worst.

Its a hit or miss at this ulta. Some day i am greeted nicely some days nothing from the employees. Ive been here 4 times since it opened and only got helpes once. The appleton location is better.

Im so excited there store reopened. I went in today to buy a $5 dollar mascara and won $100. It was great. Very clean, organized and the workers were very nice and helpful.

Always a pleasure..... I do ALWAYS go over my budget but thats because I lack self control. The staff is extremely helpful. This time a guy with rainbow lipstick and a pretty girl with a perfect cat eye helped me and they were wonderful.

Ulta in general its a great store, but I DO NOT CARE how the staff gave dirty looks to my brother in law! The store can prosper but only with the right staff to create a good environment thus a great and comfortable experience. We were doing nothing more than checking out the products and what they had to offer but we were greeted with snobiness and dirty looks. Im sorry but Ill definitely look at other Ulta stores but not this one anytime soon.

Always love the way my hair looks when Amanda is done! She has great ideas, offer opinions but does as we wish. I’m 43, couple greys and hair drying out as I age. She has given suggestions to try to keep my hair as healthy as possible! Always love the colors she suggests for me and my 12 year old! My daughter has wanted her hair “painted like mommy” since she was 6, so a little here a little there, to rainbow hair...always age appropriate, fun and adorable on her! Vibrant colors don’t damage her hair and last a few weeks. No matter where we go we always get compliments on the color, so Amanda thank you for what you do and making us feel good about ourselves! Love our “girls day” when we get to see you

Ulta is Oshkosh, WI is beyond awesome. They strive to satisfy all their customers. Kate is amazing, almost magical! My hair hasnt felt or looked this great in a very long time! Britton, who works the Benefit Brow Bar will leave you and your brows happy happy happy. Shes a brow artist! Valerie is a helpful with her knowledge about all types of skin. I felt so rejuvenated after my little 10 minute facial with her. Please check out these ladies! You wont be disappointed. I wont go anywhere else for my hair, face, or eyebrows. This place is the place to go!!!

Phenomenal experience with getting my hair done here! I went from a light blonde to a bright, vibrant red! My Stylist, Amanda, took my hair from years of extreme damage to healthy looking again! She also took the time to educate me on how to keep my hair healthier! I highly recommend Ulta Oshkosh for your hair and beauty needs! I was treated like a queen and ended up looking like one too! If you are looking for a amazing stylist that listens to your needs, ask for Amanda! :)

Closed doors earlier than 6pm, literally would’ve been in and out in 2 minutes but couldn’t even walk in due to them closing the doors early when it said closes at 6pm.

I like the store with all that it has to offer but never feel very welcome there. A lot of the workers make you feel as if its a big bother to help you with finding things or making choices. I thought thats why they were there. They could be a lot friendlier and more eager, so for that reason its not my favorite place to shop. They like to wonder around and visit with each other and act bored. Wish they would carry este lauder

Decent service despite long lines

So glad to have this store open again after nearly a year. Driving to Appleton has been very inconvenient.

I came to this store because I came from out of state to visit family. The layout is pretty much the same. The employees stopped by to check if I needed help. But it was unfortunate that they dont carry Tatcha since thats the brand I needed. The aisles need to be a little wider at this store. I dont have all the time in the world to wait for someone to stare at a foundation section and not move(even though I asked multiple times kindly) so I can make a quick grab and go behind them. Staff was great. Just needs wider aisles.

Erica dyed and cut my hair today. She did a phenomenal job and was very wonderful to talk to throughout the process. She is now my forever stylist. After my hair appointment, another Associate helped me pick out a foundation and exfoliant for sensitive skin. I have very dry skin with rosascia, and the manager was able to direct the Associate to the products that would work best on my skin. The Associate then took the time to test the products on my skin to match the color. I absolutely love Ulta.

I didnt know where to begin. I needed to pick up a few things, but it was my first time in this store. I usually just get Clinique at Macys. I was greeted, but didnt know where to go, I wasnt directed anywhere. A Clinique rep assisted me in the section, but they were out of stock on my shade of color :/ so I left

I went to get my nails done and they no longer do nails. I went once before and had an appointment to get my nails done and the employee cancelled my appointment and was doing someone elses hair at the time I arrived. Choose another place!

This place treated my friend and I like garbage. We are in middle school and we wanted to see the variety of makeup and the price range. Instead, when we walked in the door one of the ladies came up to us and bent down (even though we were about the same height) and talked to us like we were in 2nd grade. They watched us from the front desk the entire time my friend and I were there. None of them came up to us, they just watched us. Then when we were tired of being watched, we decided to leave to go to the Appleton mall to go to Sephora instead because we know Sephora treats everyone %100 better than this. As we walked out of Ulta, one lady followed us out and said Bye Girls! As everyone from the counter watched us leave. There were about 3 people at the counter at the time. I have never been more uncomfortable and self conscious than I did at Ulta. I will never do business with Ulta Beauty again. Sephora has much better service than this trash.

I go to Ulta for my facials and I love Valerie, she does an amazing job.

I stopped today to get a Tarte Sex Kitten eyeshadow pallet. Online it said this location had it in stock, but it wasnt. It was difficult to find help, and once I did they didnt seem to know much. The Tarte products arent located in one area, instead you have to look at 5 different locations, maybe theres a sixth display that holds what I was looking for. Disappointed. Hopefully, the Wausau location has a more organized store and staff.
