I have to tell you. I’ve used other electrical companies in the past and NOTHING compares to Fanning. This company is hands down the best at what they do. Best price, best quality, best marksmanship, it’s unreal.1000% recommend these guys.

I have been using Fanning Electric Co for a few years. They have always showed up on time, did excellent work and charged fair prices. For my latest (and largest) house project, their dedication to the job was beyond words. A problem (non electrical) was found and I needed to solve it immediately. I spoke to Mark Fanning and he told me that Fanning Electric would fix this problem (even though they did not cause the problem). The next day, Fanning Electric was at my house and the issue was resolved. In Mark’s words, “we want you to be happy”. Happy; however, does not describe how I feel about this company. I am not sure there is such a word or phrase, but I am elated to be a customer of Fanning Electric and would recommend them for any job, small or large.

Fanning electric not only got my ~160amp tankless electric water heater up and running. They also upgraded the entire main panel for my house and isolated a voltage issue coming from the street! ConEdison, then investigated and validated issues that Fanning raised - ordering replacements to wiring and transformers on my block. Fanning addressed ongoing electric issues for over 4 families on my street all at once!This is THE Electric Co. for Westchester county - without a doubt. But hey, they were already 5 stars before I got here, so this isnt shocking news :)

I had a jumble of electric issues. Came to see what needed done, came up with a plan to take care of major items first, then a future plan for my wish list. Very professional and nice crew that came. And amazing what they got done in time they did it. Very understanding of a difficult situation.

We have worked with Fanning Electric on numerous occasions over the past 10 years while renovating two homes and have found the team to be extremely responsive and professional. For our first home, we worked primarily with Mark/Brian and for the second, last summer, we worked primarily with Kyle. Kyle brought a great deal of knowledge of new smart technologies and also provided the electrical work on our landscape lighting and solar installation. We will definitely continue to use Fanning for our electrical needs going forward.

First let me start by saying that when I called Fanning Electric this morning an actual human being answered the phone, not a voice mail message system (associated with other electricians with promises to call back, which they never did!).When I explained my problem, the woman who answered suggested I try something before an appointment was made. Unfortunately, her suggestion did not work, so I called back Fanning Electric and the same lovely woman explained their fees and said someone would be by after noon. At 2:00 Kyle arrived and after checking various areas (the problem was with a circuit breaker/short, which affected all my lighting in one section of the house) found the problem. The issue was quickly resolved and Kyle checked all outlets to make sure all were in good working order. Kyle answered all of our questions and his explanations were clear and concise. We are extremely pleased with the prompt and courteous service we received and would highly recommend Fanning Electric. It was a pleasure working with them!

Its Labor Day weekend, all companies have shut down for the holiday and the electricity goes out in our bathrooms. Company is arriving tomorrow. So what to do? Based on a previous excellent experience with Fanning Electric, we called them. Being the Saturday of the holiday weekend, we didnt hold out much hope for a quick response. We called Fanning and they delivered once again. Kyle Fanning was here in 15 minutes and solved the issue in less than 10 minutes. We couldnt be happier and more delighted with this company. If you have any kind of electrical problem, they are the go to company. Not only do the respond quickly but they do so in a friendly manner. I cant say enough good things about them.This is the review I posted on Yelp in 2011 and it still rings true today:At a time when I needed fast reliable service, the folks at Fanning Electric really came through. As one of the thousands affected by the recent snow storm, I thought trying to get an electrician to my house to do work in the wake of the damage caused by the storm, would be impossible. I had a list of electricians in the area to call and I am thankful that Fanning Electric was at the top of the list. I was prepared to spend the morning on the phone...leaving messages and following up. As it turns out, it took 1 call. I got a live contact! Woo Hoo!! They took my information and promised to call me right back and they did. They had me hooked right there. But then, they went even further. They had someone at my house within 30 minutes to assess what had to be done. He then told me an electrician would be back to do the work between 12:2pm. And he came at 1:30pm! All was done by 3pm. Everyone I talked to at Fanning Electric was kind, courteous, professional, respectful and just plain nice. I cant begin to tell you how over the top the level of service is. I am a customer for life. If and when I ever need electrical work done again, I will only call Fanning Electric. They are the best!!!!
