Been going by the store for years. This particular day we stopped in. What a lovely surprise. We were in the market for a new kitchen set for the Lake house. Knowledgeable sales lady, great products so we ordered. As with everything else since this pandemic, the supply chain is broken and disappointed that the wait time is what it is. This is no fault of the store and I was expecting that. Love all their rustic up country style pieces. Wish my house was bigger.

I went to purchase a mattress. Were downsizing so I had to get a smaller one. Money is always an issue with me. The sales lady helped me tremendously and she found me a mattress that just fits perfectly. To the owners of Green mountain furniture give Gretchen a raise and while you add it make it a big one. Shes fantastic and she knows what shes doing. She made my life a lot easier. Thank you.

Had a futon mattress delivered and they were awesome! They figured out my futon was broken and fixed it with an extra screw they had. Nicest delivery guys ever! Ill buy all of my furniture from them from now on.

Our recent experience buying several mattresses/foundations from this business was outstanding in every way. The sales team is expert but not pushy; they deliver on time. The product offerings are of great quality - with just enough to choose from but not so much to be overwhelming. The mattress covers they offer are the best Ive ever used. We will come to Green Mountain Furniture first in the future, and highly recommend this local company over their competitors.

Yes the store definitely has a large selection of beautiful furniture...that’s why we went there. We received both pieces of our order, bed and loveseat damaged. They scheduled repair and exchange of bed rail for a Saturday between 2-4, which was time our slot for original delivery . So another beautiful Saturday spending the afternoon waiting around. They needed to take love seat away for repair. They call with time slot of delivery...yup 3-5 another wasted day.I tried explaining to Tony we have had late deliveries twice requesting earlier slot. Totally rude and unsympathetic and told me he will not change time, even though I live 15 minutes away. Not impressed with customer service and working with customers.

My husband and I were in need of a queen mattress for vacation property. We spoke with Gretchen from Green Mountain furniture. She was tremendously helpful, professional and accommodating! We found a great selection to choose from in their showroom. The mattresses are affordable and comfortable. We were able to get NEXT DAY delivery. The delivery men were wonderful as well! Courteous, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this furniture store to those living in and around the Ossipee area!

Ordered two reclining swivel chairs for our living room. Came in early, exactly as ordered, with great on-time delivery service. (Fit perfectly in our Park Model) Have always enjoyed going through their huge facility on RT 16. So much to choose from. You can spend an afternoon just browsing. Sufficient sales people to help you with your search and selection. If you havent visited them yet, you should!

Incredible selection, the store is massive and everything is set up beautifully. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into how they display everything! If they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for in the store they’ll sit down with you and go through catalogs to order what you want. The sales staff do not work on commission so they are never pushy, a huge difference from other furniture stores.All the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve had several items delivered and each time the guys were quick and careful, even when they had to take the front door off to get a couch in (my bad for not measuring first!)You will not find the kind of furniture Green Mountain has at any of the big box furniture places. Every item is high quality and beautifully made. I highly recommend Green Mountain if you want nice looking furniture that will last forever.

While I havent bought anything yet, I am impressed with the selection of furniture. If you own a cabin or a colonial home youll want to check this place out. Personally I dont think the prices are that bad for the quality youre getting.

My wife and I went yesterday to buy new recliners and were really appalled by the salesman response. He told me that it would be 26 weeks to get a single chair in...he chose to not sell me the floor model, so I went to Allen wayside furniture and bought 2 identical chairs..... they had 4 in stock.... why have a floor model to display if u cant even get the product for 6 months... itll be a discontinued model before u get it.

Needed a lift chair immediately. After considering several furniture stores in my area with high delivery charges and most not willing to remove the old piece, I ended up choosing Green Mountain Furniture. I was in and out with a new chair in 15 minutes, with same day delivery for $10, and a modest charge for pickup of old piece. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Not happy with customer service. Purchased recliners in October, fabric is already wearing horribly in spots... Send pictures to GM they claim its from pets..my cat is declawed. The damage us fabric pulling even if I had a cat with claws this has nothing to do with that!! Never will bye anything there ever again.

We bought a Full size mattress Diamond Collection Rosewood Extra Firm 7/07/2020ct for $599.00 it was delivered 7/18/20.Now 10/8/20 less than 3 months of use The mattress is sagging and only one 185lb person using it .Shame on them for selling such a substandard product. VERY DISSAPOINTED !! STAY AWAY !!

Smaller furniture store. Easy to navigate and explore. Sales person lets you do that on your own and checks in for questions/help. Seems like nice quality. Some is Amish made. Can be customized too. Mattresses have a 100 day return policy if you buy a cover for it. Very nice store. Friendly helpful saleswoman.

Very disappointed and will never return made the hour plus trip with friends for the 2 for 1 recliner sale found what we wanted and asked if they were in stock because I didnt want to wait 5 to 8 weeks for an order the salesman said both were in stock and I could take them home, just needed to do the paperwork at his desk, we went downstairs to another desk and computer and then was told that one of the chairs was not in stock at which time he tried to sell me another color, we left and went to another furniture store close to home and found both of the chairs exactly the sameAnd paid full price when it was all done the only difference in price was the sales tax which I had to pay, so much for the 2 for 1 sale

Very large store with wonderful furniture! A tad pricey but Im guessing its quality furniture. Looking for a couch that will fit my short legs! Still checking around before I narrow it down but I liked this couch. Not sure who was sitting on it but someone else must like it too.

Nice huge place..good country and rustic furniture.

Ok... this place is awesome. The customer service is great and the furniture is beautiful. They worked very closely with us and let us take our time to decide on what we wanted. We found that a few pieces of furniture were too big on our place and they took it back so we could replace them for smaller ones. I couldnt believe how hard they worked to carry and assemble the heavy furniture up the stairs and into all the rooms. I thank them for the great service. Like I said, they take good care of their customers. I recommend them. Just wish the prices were more accommodating.

Big selection, expensive

I have purchased a number of items from Green Mountain dating back to the early 90s. They have a very good selection of both high end and affordable items. My wife and I recently bought a new kitchen table and chairs from them and we are very pleased. The delivery guys were very pleasant and professional.

My wife and I recently purchased 2 sofas and a dinning room set from Green Mountain furniture. This is a really well run business. Not only is the selection excellent, the quality of the brands that they represent is also excellent. Now to the biggest reason I am writing this review the honesty and integrity they displayed was over the top. When we sat down with Margret she tallied our selections and told us the price. We agreed we wanted to order and moved forward with the transaction. After all was said and done and I paid my bill I got a call from Margret saying there was an error in my favor for a couple of hundred dollars. In all honesty I would never have looked at that receipt again in my life; In my mind the transaction was complete. A couple of days later Margret called me again and said another error was made. (I thought oh well time to give back the money from the last phone call)....Not the case, Margret realized that the shipping charge was based off of our old address and we were getting an additional $35.00 credit. All I can say is I will always put Green Mountain Furniture and Margret at the top of our list when looking for furniture.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GREEN MOUNTAIN FURNITURE. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Their advertising is a scam; do not believe the 100 Night Comfort Guarantee on mattresses.My 65 yo mother-in-law went in to purchase a mattress for herself - she was very clear it was for herself - and was sold a youth mattress without being told thats what she was getting. After many sleepless nights and increased back pain, she tried to return or exchange the mattress using the 100 Night Guarantee and was told that this specific mattress was not covered. She was never informed of this when she purchased the mattress though it absolutely should have been disclosed at the time. They tried to further take advantage of her by trying to sell her an even more expensive mattress, and when that failed, they told her there was nothing they could do to help. My MIL does not have a lot of money, and now shes out hundreds of dollars after being scammed and taken advantage of by the people at Green Mountain Furniture. We are honestly considering reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.We are disheartened that we cannot support a local business and must encourage others not to as well. Unfortunately, if youre in the market for a new mattress or other furniture, particularly if youre a member of a vulnerable population, it would be a better idea to shop online or find a different local business.

Awesome place to find good quality furniture. No particle board or made in China items. Great NH items, lake and mountain, woodsy themed items for a cabin, camp or your house. Staff is very helpful but not pushy.

A super great place to buy your furniture for your lakefront or mountaintop home

UPDATE: June 25, 2020Not long after the May update, we got a voicemail from a local furniture repair company saying they would arrive one day this week. Weve tried to reschedule (even called the company and waited 1.5 hours for the next available person) but havent been successful. Weve replaced the first chair - its absolutely unusable - and paid much less for a better chair. This place is a rip-off. Buyer beware!UPDATE: May, 2020In December, 2018 I wrote a glowing review about this store (very nice people, clean, nice variety of items). We purchased 2 recliners; they were buy-one-get-one and totalled a bit over $1,000. They were the most expensive we found, but we felt confident because they had the best warranty - 10 years!After just over a year of typical use, one started breaking down. Its now completely unusable. We followed the warranty and submitted a claim. The only thing weve gotten is a confirmation that it was received. Given COVID-19, we understand things are moving more slowly, but its been over a month without a word.If they were the cheapest chairs we found, I would consider it a lesson learned, but they were the most expensive. If it was just the one chair, I would chalk it up to bad luck, but the second is starting to show the exact signs of doing the same. As much as I believe in the importance of shopping local and purchasing Made in the US, I would expect better for the price.

Terrible customer service. The sales person had an attitude from the start. Asked him if there were any discpunts on a specific mattress and he told mr about their purchasing program and can save different percentages on future purchases. I told him I never purchased anything before but would like 10% off. He said he couldnt do it. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager wasnt rude but told he couldnt do it. So they let me walk out the door. Instead of saving me $50 and getting my business plus possible future business they let me walk out the door.
