I love the food here and grew up enjoying it. I live out of town now and try and stop in when I can. The last three times Ive tried to stop in at 10AM on a Friday theyre not open. Frustrating when their hours state that theyre open until noon.

Cash only! This irks me. Not consumer/customer friendly. Legally they can charge a higher price for cards if they list each item separately with a cash and card price line. Or offer a discount for cash. Cannot add a credit surcharge at POS. Very simple solution. Yes transaction fees are a greedy cash grab, but as a consumer I also enjoy the protections and not having to carry cash. Shop around and certainly can find a reasonable card processor that is small biz friendly. Rarely anyone under 50 who is not a exotic dancer carry’s cash. So this is vastly annoying and seems to be more prevalent in NY. Couple of things. This place isn’t as good as it used to be. The bagels were great, probably the best outside NYC. Not anymore. Very underwhelmed a good bagel should have a firm, not hard crust, and a soft not mushy inside. The crust was not firm, soft, and inside was mushy. Possibly boiled or cooked to low a heat. Not bad but not as good as they used to be. The prices are reasonable. Got 3 toasted with spread for under $10.

This is the BEST place to get bagels.. Through my freshman and sophomore year of high school I would walk and stop here nearly everyday for a fresh cinnamon sugar bagel with cream cheese and sometimes butter. all the rude comments are just Karens, when theyre out of something its because the SOLD OUT get there early if you want something specific.. theyre a small business and these are made fresh every morning.. Also extremely affordable, cheaper than a bagel from dunkin and also better!! Great choices for bagels and cream cheese. everything is delicious! Just be aware they are cash only which is very normal for small businesses. Keep up the amazing work!!!

The Oswego Bagel and Sandwich Shop has nice fresh homemade bagels and reasonably strong coffee.

Best bagels in Oswego. Only downside is that they sell out early.

I wish they were open on some of the other days. Never sure if they are going to be open when I want to go there, or if they will have enough choices in. The mid morning.

The freshest and best bagels around. I go in once a week and I usually get a sausage and cheese on a onion bagel and then a variety of assorted to take home. They also have a variety of flavors of cream cheese. The owner is always there working and his staff is always courteous and fast. Hands down a must if you are in or around oswego. You will not be disappointed.

The bagel sandwiches here are amazing. Definitely one of the best lunch spots around, highly recommend the roast beef with and everything bagel. Employees are nice and service is fast

We just moved here for Georgia, my boyfriend went in and the guy was very rude saying they don’t accept card. No reason to be rude, you lose our business with just one shot! Learn to be respectful and NICELY tell someone “I’m so sorry, we only accept cash.” Don’t be disrespectful, you never know who is not from the area.NO ONE CARRIES CASH ANYMORE! Most business don’t accept cash

I love this place. Its consistent. They make the specialty cream cheeses with fresh fruit and veggies. They make their bagels from scratch everyday. They have freshly ground coffee. Its a great establishment and Oswego is lucky that this gem exists.

Our bagel shop in town is one of our best hidden gems. It is 110% locally owned. They do such a great job, that they sell out almost every single day. On the weekends you need to get there really early, preferably before 7:00 am, or you may find all of the good stuff completely gone.One last note. Be sure to try the Crazy Bagel!

This place is truly amazing. Food is great! But it’s not just the food, the staff is friendly and compassionate and FAST! A+++++ in a world where everything is so commercialized this is truly refreshing!

This is the worst bagel shop I have ever been to. Every single time I have gone into the bagel shop they are out of multiple menu items and/or are not serving menu items even when I arrive first thing in the morning. The bagels are sub par at best. Most people report this is the best bagel place in town, that is because it’s the only bagel place in town. If you decide to risk it, make sure you bring cash because like most places in this town it hasn’t yet reached the 21st century.

Staple here in the small city of Oswego . Recommend to any and everyone .

Not bad prices, bagels are decent, the white male employee in his 30s prepares food with the same gloves he uses to handle money and use the register. Thats disgusting and a health code violation.

Best place in town for bagels, a look so has good coffee and reasonable prices. Their cinnamon sugar bagels are great with choosey children. Theres also a decent amount of seating for eating there. It is cash only.

I have never visited Oswego with out making a stop here. I recommend an everything bagel with banana pepper cream cheese.
