I wanted to convey in writing my thanks and appreciation for the exemplary service provided by service advisor Marco Dominique. I brought my car in for service and after its assessment, Marco very professionally went through the issues with the car. Marco was careful to let me know that the short block replacement would need several days to complete due to shipping and complexity of service. I had resigned myself to 3 days without my car while the O-Train was out of service.After a long bus journey the next day I was really missing my car. Turns out that while I was lamenting my situation, Marco was able to find a short block in town and got it sent to Barrhaven. With Marcos initiative (and, of course, the behind the scenes technicians) the car was ready two days ahead of schedule. When I took the keys and started my vehicle, it was with a great sense of relief to not hear the noises it was making when I dropped it off. The interior wipe-down also made it smell new. As I drove into the night I resolved to share my experience as the effort to get things fixed was above and beyond expectation. Thanks to Marco and the rest of the team.
Myers Barrhaven Hyundai is without a doubt the best car dealership that Ive dealt with. Everyone from the sales representative to the service manager makes you feel like a member of a large extended family. Examples include a bumper to bumper walk through of the car when we went to pick it up and follow-up phone calls a few days later to see how we are enjoying it. Overall a fantastic experience.
I bought a 2017 Elantra from them a few years ago and have be going to them for regular maintenance over that time. Their service centre continues to disappoint. I have had numerous quality issues with the work they completed. Which required me to return multiple times to correct the issues. To make it even worse they never meet the schedule that they provide to you at the beginning of the appointment. They are always hours late for their work.If you are looking to this location for maintenance, save your self the time and frustration and look elsewhere.

I took my older Santa Fe to Myers Barrhaven for service because it was the Hyundai dealership closest to me, and tow trucks charge per km. Im really glad that I did - Gabby in their service department was really great; She was happy to listen to everything I had to say about the issue, was friendly and reassuring, and communicated the issues, cost and timeline clearly to me. She also arranged for a loaner to be ready as soon as I arrived.It is a dealership, so parts and labour dont come cheap, but I knew that going in. Ill definitely be back if I need dealer service!

Awful experience with the service department. Absolutely no tact or ability to read the situation. Charged me an ridiculous amount of money for someone to run a “diagnostic” on my car that was basically them looking at the back up camera and saying it was cracked. Then offered to fix it for a price that was laughable. I’ll get it fixed but it won’t be with Myers.
Griff Cain helped me through the process of buying my first car, and I couldnt be happier. He took the time to learn my wants and needs and was respectful of my tight budget. He went out of his way to set aside a car for me that he knew would be perfect despite it not being yet listed online, and it was! I have now had it for just over a week and Griff has checked in and continues to support me as we work through those new car quirks. Thanks again for making this experience so positive. I had a very good sales experience at Myers Barrhaven Hyundai. Everyone was quite friendly and respectful of my time. They were prepared for our meetings. I never felt rushed during a meeting and all staff made an effort to answer my questions. A special shout out to JR, who was a good salesman, attentive and quick to respond to queries. When I came for a test drive, he wiped everything down well and pointed out some key features but did not oversell. He was also quite respectful of what I was looking for and didnt try to sell something I didnt need or want. Overall, a great experience and would recommend this dealership to others.
I would give negative stars if possible…Don’t trust them at all. They took advantage of my little knowledge and provided me with a service that my car doesn’t need. I figured out after hearing the receptionist advertising a filter change to a male customer (Same thing she told me) but did not persistently insist, hound and advertise a full car cleaning like she did with me (repetitively following and bugging me after I said no), seemingly making the encounter not only a little sexist but making me feel taken advantage of. Furthermore… after finishing the work and giving me the car, the receptionist said ”we filled windshield washer fluid for you” …Spoiler alert… Of course they didn’t because I filled it myself in their parking lot right before I left it for service. When I told her she said maybe they put little, I said no it was totally full. She completely ignored me and at that moment I knew they were falsifying claims about what my car needs. After leaving the dealership my car started to make noises so I called and they said bring it and we will fix it maybe something is still loose. Took it back and for sure it’s another problem and “not their fault” coincidentally and “bad luck”. Do you think I can trust them after the windshield fluid story and the service they pushed on me? This is not the first time this happened, I brought my car from Calgary and left it with them for an out of province check, picked it up missing the cable to plug it in during the winter. After searching it was cut off. All about trust and being honest with your customers which you lack.
Got our first car today from this dealership. And it was an amazing experience!! Getting a car is a major purchase and can feel daunting especially if you are new to this. However, our wonderful sales rep, Dan Anis, made the process so much easier with his professionalism, patience, and care. So if you are considering getting a Hyundai, I strongly recommend choosing this dealership. If you are considering getting something other than a Hyundai, maybe also give this place a try and see if they can change your mind lol!

My Wife and I had a great experience leasing our first vehicle here. Walking in we had a few options in mind. Shane was very patient and thorough. Answered all of our questions without beating around the bush. He went above and beyond to set us up with our preferred option (2022 Elantra Preferred Model) with payments within our budget!Shane was more than just a Sales Rep, he was the hero we needed when it mattered most. When my wife was out for a test drive, I was left behind watching our 18 month old son. Out of nowhere an Eagle had swooped into the parking lot, and grappled our son with its vicious talons. Shane did not hesitate to step in! Before the Eagle was able to take off with our precious boy, Shane let out this Fierce Cry which triggered something inside the Eagle. The Eagle immediately released its vicious grip on my son and went on its way.After My Wife got back, and we checked on the welfare of our son (who was a little shaken up, but no serious injuries) we finalized our agreement. We were then passed off to Sam for the signing of our agreement. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail, fine print and all.All jokes aside, 11 out of 10 Customer Service for this location! We really love the 2022 Elantra! We will be back again!

When I was a Toyota owner and the dealership where I had purchased several vehicles started failing me, I switched to Myers Toyota in Barrhaven and never looked back. Fast forward a few years and the same thing occurred with my Hyundai. The dealership where I purchased it - without a word of a lie - has yet to respond to TWO requests for service (one online and one phone call) on a warranty issue. Were going on almost two weeks now! Last Friday my son called me from a road trip he was taking to Calgary with my 2018 Tucson. He was saying the car was running rough, hesitating, engine light soon came on...I contacted Hyundai Barrhaven to ask for assistance and advice. My call was answered by Melissa in the Service Dept. and I am very thankful she did! She asked what was happening and I explained that my son was between Swift Current, SK and Medicine Hat, AB. with vehicle issues. Melissa gave me a few different options as to what he should do. We decided he would try to make it to the dealership in Medicine Hat. Going above and beyond Melissa contacted the dealership in AB and they were ready and waiting when he arrived.When my son arrived at Murray Medicine Hat Hyundai, they were also gushing about Melissa and how helpful the had been by providing all the necessary info they would require. He was in and out and made it to Calgary in time to have dinner with his friends, safe and sound. And as a Mom I was relieved!Melissa is truly a keeper for Hyundai Canada or wherever she lands. After my Hyundai Elantra began leaking on the drivers side door today at 95km before the 100,000km warranty ended. I called my dealership on Hunt Club Hyundai at which I was told the only appointment was next week, and my only option was to not drive it or drive it and not have warranty. When I asked if they could do a work order for the part today, they told me no and it was my problem, I will not be returning to this dealership as they obviously have no regard for customer service.Since warranty is valid at any Hyundai dealership I called Myers Hyundai Barrhaven at which they were amazing and managed to fit me in so that my vehicle didnt run out of warranty. Turns out the weather stripping is done on both the drivers side and passenger side door. I would love to say thank you to Gabby for going out of her way to not only help with the issue but go above and beyond to solve the problem, absolutely outstanding customer service and will be returning to this dealership.
Employees seem poorly trained to deal with customers and really dont seem to care. Bought a new vehicle less than 2 years ago and I have used the service department 3 times including today. Lots of lip service to customer satisfaction but in reality my experience has been far less than satisfactory. Whats the point of booking an appointment for a simple oil change, when you are told it will still take 1-2 hours to get it done. That would have meant that my car should have been ready at about noon. When 2:00 pm rolls around without any word, I call them, ask for the service department get transferred to voice mail and no one returns my call. This happens two more times. When I finally get through to a live person, Im told my car has been ready but no had bothered to call to let me know. In addition, I am told that the so-called courtesy shuttle will be unavailable for a least the next 2 hours...leaving me stranded. Absolutely unacceptable, no accountably, no empathy and no apologies.

The service I received at this Hyundai was just horrible! I cannot believe how I have been treated this far! I have so many things I could complain about. The service department is only looking for money, so as a young female I would not deal with them alone because they will do anything to get you to pay up for things that aren’t even wrong with your car! Not to mention they held my car over night and wouldn’t let me pick it up in the morning. The weekend manager asked my step dad If he woke up on the wrong side of the bed and rolled his eyes at us more then once, telling us he didn’t have access to my keys in the service department, after a bit of conversation he walked right in and grabbed them off the front desk in service. It took him 30 seconds to retrieve my keys. My recall was supposed to be scheduled in early November and I called back at the beginning of January and turns out when I went into the dealership to schedule, they never even marked me down for an appointment. I would never recommend going here. Ever. My car was damaged more on the recall parts because they told me to expect a call that never came and I waited so long, and now they’re trying to get me to pay for all the excess damage that came to parts connected to the recall part. Brutal service. Wish I could give zero stars, because in my opinion they don’t even deserve one. **Edited, Mike turned my whole experience around, he took care off all my issues and gave me a wicked deal to help solve the issues at hand, thank you for all your hard work mike.

My experience with them has been okay so far. Until today - when I brought my car for manufacturer recommended servicing.I was charged for car sanitation. I was told that thats been the practice for a couple of weeks now. Fine, but why my car was returned without even singe sign of wiping it inside but 0.6 L of sanitation liquid was used as per invoice?Complimentary wash? - Forget about it.Tires were magically rotated with my custom lock being left home.Very smart step for making extra money in the fall when people do tire changes and dont often look into their invoices.We are all in this together they said. And charged for the sanitation.Was considering to get another vehicle from them. Not anymore.

I never comes to this place and not recommend anyone to go thereAfter that incident Nikky apologized for that act and cleared the situation. She were not meant to be rude but that happened. Thats things happens and I accept her apologies. We closed the deal together after that and she provided me good services. I am hoping to get good services in the future as well. Shane was attentive and took the time to answer all my questions and helped me solidify the deal. Sam was helpful on the finance side and delivery was within 3 days of purchase. My friend and I came here first while checking out the dealers in the area as I was looking for a new car. I had been considering a Hyundai Elantra but hadnt decided yet. Upon entering we were greeted right away by Tony, the sales representative that helped me with every step of purchasing a new vehicle. He asked me what I had in mind, asked the right questions and wasnt pushy. He was able to find me exactly what I was looking for, even down to the colour I preferred, and offered me a great deal. At pickup he took the time to walk me through every feature of the vehicle, helped me set everything up, and ensured I was comfortable with it, even though I had been running late and was probably taking time away from him! They even threw in a set of high-end mats and a scratch removal pen. Highly recommend coming here if youre looking for a new car, and if possible ask for Tony!

I recently went to Myers Barrhaven to purchase a new vehicle. I was overwhelmed with the great service and pressure free sales process offered by Dylan and the rest of the team we dealt with. They were polite and courteous and I really felt like a valued customer walking in and out of the dealership. 5/5 stars and I would 100% recommend their products and services to any car buyer.

This place is a rip off; went in to get an oil change and decided to go for a service package and I clearly told the lady at the counter that I would like to get consulted if they needed to realign the wheels. She said yes and no one contacted me. When I came back, I was given a bill for $274 and informed they had aligned the wheels because I had pre authorized it. I felt devastated and cheated; I had clearly informed that person to check with me. These guys are complete cheats and they are after your money. Avoid this place like hell!

New Experience - Five Stars again! My daughter needed to add a lock/unlock fob to her 2014 Accent. Dealership D claimed the car had a communications fault then charged her $80, having delivered nothing of value. Gabbie at Barrhaven checked with a tech while I was making the appointment to make sure theres nothing peculiar about fobs and that vehicle. I took it in today (Saturday) and she called 45 minutes later to say all fobs are now working perfectly! Goodbye D dealership! Thank you Gabbie and your team!I would give this service department ten stars if it was available. I purchased a used 2015 Santa Fe Luxury in November of 2020. Three times the car was dead in the morning - very random. Then it died in a grocery store lot for apparently no reason. I was convinced it was the remote starter. Nicola Braithwaite, the Service Manager knows her stuff. Instead of throwing parts at the problem she and her tech worked until they found the problem - a fault in the drivers door handle - theres a switch in there that wasnt closing. They must have spent a lot of time chasing it but none of that turned up on the bill. Very impressed! I highly recommend this dealership. I will be back for my 6th Hyundai!
My girlfriend has been talking about getting an SUV for about a year. I called around to a couple dealerships and even went into others before calling Barrhaven Hyundai. Shane picked up my phone call and I’m glad he did. He was responsive and keen to help me find something for her. Shane was attentive to all the requests, concerns, and questions. She bought the Sante Fe on a Saturday and picked it up on Tuesday, so a good turnaround time too. On the pick up day, Shane walked her through the many features in the SUV. He ensured she was comfortable with the SUV and that her phone was connected properly. He showed her around the dealership too, so that she would know where to go when she comes in for services.
Once again I had phenomenal service at Myers Hyundai. The current Covid protocols that they are implementing throughout the Dealership put me at ease.
After my previous some what frustrating sales experience purchasing a 2019 Sante Fe two years ago which lacked the needed communication and comfort to provide a happy enjoyable sales experience, Yadiel and Boris showed that customer service and fair treatment are extremely important and as a result I am a very happy customer they did an outstanding job! I would like to note as well that the service manager Nicola Braithwaite has always been amazing in providing the best possible service and making sure customers are her number one priority! She is the main reason I have stayed at this dealership. Thank you to Mustapha the GM who always took the time out his busy day to follow up and make sure everything was in order. Yadi has given us the best customer service we can possibly ask for. He has really taken care of us and given us the smoothest possible experience for buying a car. I was welcomed and taken care immediately. I just had an accident and was a bit nervous with all the insurance process, being my first accident. Tony Galleta, reassure me that he would do everything possible for me to be in a vehicle of my own and specially a vehicle that I would love to drive. We had a discussion prior to my visit, by phone to discuss the type of vehicle I was looking for, so when I arrived at Myers in Barrhaven a vehicle was waiting for my test drive.
