I am so glad I found Kryger Glass. I had cheaped out and had my front windshield replaced by a super inexpensive place last year. Right after having it installed I started having water leaks that were somehow coming in after rains and soaking my floorboard below carpet. Long story short, I had taken it back to the installer several times and they repeatedly added more sealant but emphatically said that the leak was not due to their windshield installation.After a year of continual water leaks, I finally decided to take it in and have it checked out by someone reputable and established. Brought it to Kryger and the whole experience was a breeze. They carefully removed the windshield and quickly discovered the area where the previous glass installer had not sealed down the new windshield. They installed a new one, which was very reasonably priced, and were quick and very friendly with the whole process. Needless to say, this one was properly sealed and there are no more leaks.Thank you, Kryger! Ill be sending everyone I know your way, if they need auto glass work.

You have been warned! Took my car in for a windshield replacement. Got it back with the hood paint chipped from tools, gouges in the dash, severely bent plastic and wires hanging out from the mirror that they forgot to install the trim back for. I had to make a second trip back to have them install the trim, replace the plastic clips that were broken and they didnt care to replace and touch up paint my hood. There was nothing to do for the dash. The manager apologized and said they were training new people who needed to be less careless with the replacement. No refund, they are low priced for a reason. If you dont want your car damaged, take it somewhere else.

My windshield cracked and required a full replacement. Kryger was the most affordable quote I received and was able to get me in for a same-day appointment. The work did not take too long and the staff was friendly and professional. I was nervous about the potential disconnection of the sensors/computers in my car, but I had no issues and everything worked correctly without the need for recalibration after the replacement. Overall, I would recommend Kryger for windshield replacement.

I called Krygers at 10 am this morning about my cracked windshield on my pickup, by 1 pm I was driving away with my newly installed windshield. The customer service was great, the installation was done in a very professional manner. The price of the windshield was very fair, less than I expected.I would recommend Kryger Glass to anyone.

I use these guys for all my windshields. I do a lot of highway driving so get new a new windshield about every other winter. The guys are fast and courteous and replace the glass with the screen I want, not the cheap option THEY want. I used to use a bigger company and had to fight and fight with them to get them to install Pilkington glass. Theyd always want to install some cheap chinese glass. My Land Rovers dont like Chinese glass and the windshield wiper sensors and headlight sensors never work properly with a Chinese windsheild. My BMW is a bit finicky too. Kryger will always install Pilkington for me and does a fantastic job. Ive never had a leak or a problem with them at all. Theyve come to my office to do the work as well as to my home. I had them do three windshields in one day for me once. All Pilkington without any complaint from them and all billed to my insurance. Forget the national companies. Use these guys and keep your money in KC.

I had a branch fall on my windshield and cracked it pretty good (spiderweb crack) on the passenger side. I called my insurance and they scheduled me with Safelite, which didnt have the part, never called me back or anything. I googled windshield repair and Kryger Glass was the second result. After looking at their website, and checking with my insurance, I scheduled and appointment, got in, and got out CHEAPER and FASTER than Safelite. Highly recommend these guys!

Scheduled an appointment by calling for a windshield replacement. Josh at the front desk was great! Extremely sweet and courteous staff. Daniel who did the work was great too. He gave me a heads up about an issue he could run into but he was able to handle it well. Their prices are great. Way cheaper than Safelite! They also have a cozy waiting room which is convenient. They got my windsheild replaced really fast. Dropped it off before work and picked it up during lunch. Safelite quoted me a little under $500 and these guys got it done for $270. Very professional and friendly as well. Will return if I need future glass work.

Shady business. I called to get an estimate on a windshield replacement, then went in to get it done and asked them to verify the price before they started, which they did and it was the same price as the estimate. When I went to pay the price was higher than quoted, they said the estimate “ didn’t include everything “. Don’t get taken like I did.

I had to get rid of a old mirror, because they cant be recycled. They accepted it and didnt charge me a dime. We had a windshield replaced here a couple years ago, and they did a fine job.

I was able to book an appointment same day and had my back drivers side window replaced after a break in. They have a cozy waiting room with coffee & water. Not only was the staff quick but incredibly nice and vacuumed the broken glass from my car. Highly recommended!

I got a chip in my windshield today driving from Lawrence to Kansas City that was starting to form two cracks coming out of it. After my meeting in KC I called a few places to see if I could get it fixed before driving back to Lawrence. I didnt want to risk the cracks growing so big it could not be repaired. Kryger Glass had the best price but I wasnt sure if I could make it there before they closed at 5. I told them I was going to try and arrived at 5:07. My car got broken into yesterday with I winter storm coming. They had me bring in my car and said they try to work it in but my appointment wasnt until tomorrow. I waited in the lobby while I was waiting for my rental car . I was there for over four hours they were so nice and friendly they kept checking on me to make sure that I was okay . They even offered multiple times to take me someplace . They gotgmy car done and I didnt even need the rental car . Long as its really hard to find a nice friendly business. This is definitely one of them .

Had a crack in the front windshield. I called Kryger and they said, come on over, we can take you now. Everyone was really friendly and they pulled my car in right away as it started to pour down rain. They filled the crack and left my car in their garage to pull out myself so that I didnt have to get soaking wet. Hopefully this repair will hold. If it doesnt for some reason, they will deduct the amount I paid from a new windshield. Nice to know.

While it was easy to schedule and the wait was not bad, the overall service was terrible! Went in for windshield chip repair and the only information I received was Here is the waiver for windshields. Read and sign. The waiver stated (paraphrased) while the chip may not totally disappear, it should reduce the appearance by 80-90%. I had to ask what they fixed because there was a 0% reduction in chip appearance! All they said was that I could use the price I paid for repair to replace the whole windshield. Really, I would not be so unhappy if someone had taken the time to explain all of this instead of read and sign.

Kryger was recommended by Olathe Toyota for windshield replacement. I would definitely take your business elsewhere! I had to go back 3 times because it wasnt done correctly. The front desk staff was also very rude & gave a poor time estimate. It took a total of 14 hours on three separate trips to get it done correctly. Will Never go there again! Also recommended Toyota not recommend them in the future!

Awesome place!!, i called a couple places to shop around on who would be best to replace our front windshield and was going to go with safelite but i found this place online and was kinda effy at first since there wasnt many good reviews, but after noticing most of the reviews were a year or almost a year old i decided what the heck, why not give them a try. So i called and they were more expensive then safelite but i mentioned that to them and they lowered it to beat safelites price! and the guy who had answered the call was super friendly and polite, they came out way sooner then safelite was going to and got it replaced the next morning with no issues, guys who came out to replace it was super nice as well. Overall if we ever need any glass work again we will be going back. I hope the previous bad reviews stay in the past for this place, not sure if its under new management or what but it was a great experience for us.

If youre a do-it-yourselfer, like me, then you probably have too little money and a little too much know how. Lol. It never fails that every remodel job I tackle around my house costs more than expected and has issues beyond my ability. This week my husband and I installed mirrors in a basement room with the intention of converting the space into a workout area. We installed 3 ft x 5 ft mirrors along two walls, just above the outlets. We opted for smaller 1 ft x 1 ft mirrors to fill the space between the larger mirrors and the baseboards below them. All went great until I needed to cut the small mirrors to fill in leftover spaces. It looked sooo easy on Youtube, but real life proved me wrong. So, I called around to several glass shops/small hardware stores and the cost per each cut was more than the cost of all my supplies together. Whats more, none of them were free to do my small job for at least a month. I did find that a local hobby store would cut my mirrors for a $1/cut and lived to regret that choice. 5 wasted mirrors later I was left frustrated, out of mirrors and with a handful of jagged, miscut, unuseable mirrors. I remembered having done business with Kryger Glass years ago and gave them a call. They asked excellent questions to ensure precise cuts, were willing to cut the mirrors for me that day and did it all for a very reasonable cost. When I picked up the mirrors an hour later all the cuts were precise, perfect (not jagged, crooked and chipped) and fit my spaces like hand in glove. After all my frustration from hours of failed mirror cutting on my part and failed mirror cutting by others, it was so refreshing to find someone who still takes pride in their work! My hats off to Kryger!

When I arrived for my appointment, I was told the technician had an issue with a job and would not be back to fix my car. No phone call or communication prior to my arrival; just a lame excuse, sometimes theres nothing we can do. No respect for customers time.
