I hate having to go in to this store! I bought some stuff online that ended needing to be returned. I tried to return by mail but after several(10) emails (per there instructions on how to return online order, was to send email with order # and I was supposed to quickly be sent a return label)I never received 1 single response. I with my 9 year old son in tow ended up taking the 25 wreaths(school craft that got changed last minute)back to the store. I stood at returns counter for 15 minutes, not a soul comes to help and trust me there were plenty of employees that made direct eye contact. I kept thinking oh they will call someone to come to the returns counter, they see me so obviously someone will come. Nope! Sent my 9 year old to find an employee, he quickly finds the same young man who has seen me standing there. 3X he looked me in the eye and kept pushing a cart around with nothing in it, my sons walks back to me with this person following. I think finally I can get this done,I am not mad just glad to be getting this checked off my list of to dos. I was quickly told I would need to get in the customer line (15 people deep and 2 cashiers) because he has other customers to help, I said I am confused because I thought online it said to go to the returns counter. He said our store is different and walked off to push his stupid empty cart. So I got in the checkout line and waited a little while longer, the cashier was very nice and she quickly did the return. Honestly I am annoyed mostly because the customer service really sucks and always has, its the reason aside from there overblown prices that I stay away. The young man was doing nothing and did not go to help any other customer.

Quality home decor and fabrics at affordable prices. You get art supplies and lot of stuff on sale. Fabric Colors that amazes your eyes.

I was making a baby shower diaper cake and doing a couple of other things and these people were so helpful and gave me lots of good ideas and I really appreciated it

Good store, as long as you know what you want. Might be tough to find help when you need it. Stood at the fabric counter with other customers for at least 10mins. One customer had asked an employee passing by for assistant prior to me standing in line with them. Help did not show up and customers left. I gave 4 stars to the store as I commonly do not require assistance.

Joanns always has what I need for crafting and sewing. It also has many, many choices for seasonal decorations and hobby interests.

All good until I heard the poor cashiers having to ask everyone for an email address.

The store was clean and fully stocked. The employees were very helpful.

This particular location always has good clearance and sales going on. There are a ton of fabric selections to choose from and they seem to rotate them out seasonally. This goes for the home decor and even the stickers as well. Right now its all summer stuff but they are already moving it to make room for the fall merchandise. They have wide well-lit aisles. On this visit, there was only one cashier but there was no line or wait. They have everything you could possibly want craft wise with plenty of seasonal home decor to choose from as well.

Nice fabric selection and holiday decorations, but only one cashier with a long line of customers waiting. Finally they will call for a 2nd cashier and everyone wonders why they waited so long to call. This even pre-dates Covid-19, but probably has gotten worse 2020-2021. I still shop here though.

I really like JoAnns, however, I dont like that they do not offer in-store classes for their on-line sewing machine purchases. Doesnt seem fair to me. Minus for me.

When sales hit. They hit hard. I love them so, so much.The selection of fabric is massive. Findings is also impressive. I almost spent Time over by trims and lace.I love it there. I wish I could keep better track of their sale times.Ug.Customer support is fantastic. The retail workers are lovely!!There is handicap parking, and doors.

Found the yarn I was looking for.

They had everything I was looking for and more. And the employees were awesome! I was a lost child in that place, luckily someone held my hand and helped me through the process! Fantastic

I love this store. It is beautifully stocked. However, their listed hours are never correct. A group of people were waiting outside at 6:30 and an employee said they close at 6, even though on Google, & on their door, it says open til 9. It’s just a waste of gas when there are other locations like hobby lobby that offer a limited version of the same things. If the employee’s attitude would have been warmer while explaining, it would have been forgivable.

It was not crowded at all when we were there - Which is one of the best ways to shop! It seemed like there wasnt enough signage for many of the individual aisles and Special Depts. to help you look for any specific colors, projects, arts/crafts, etc. thru-out the store!

This location isnt my favorite. The people cutting fabric are usually overwhelmed and the place is always somewhat disheveled. The security cameras everywhere are off-putting. They have lots of product, but never seem to have what Im looking for in stock. I usually drive out of my way to go to the Belton location.

Anything you could possibly want or need for crafting, sewing, or decorating needs they have. The products are high quality and reasonably priced.

Joann Fabrics has reduced or eliminated their inventory of fabrics suited to sewing clothes and home decor. This means that there is almost no way to buy these supplies locally since Joanns is essentially the only fabric store left in town. Im so disappointed!In addition, the service is AWFUL! The lines are long. Asking a question or getting help is nearly impossible. And, they get my online orders wrong nearly every time. Ugh!

Tried to shop here today, their employees left signage up that was incorrect, then treated me with zero respect. Refused to take responsibility and then told me they would adjust it but only if I waited in line behind 14 people after already waiting in line to make my purchase. Stores that take no responsibility is the reason why Amazon has gotten so big, take a lesson in customer service, take responsibility for your ears, and treat customers appropriately.

No one want to help my wife with the shirts she was looking for, we justbleft.

Holy Joann, this store is HUGE compared to the couple Ive been to on the missorui side. But almost all shelves were shocked adequately, minus the picked through Christmas clearance (but thats expected) and nothing seemed clutter or boxed up waiting to be unloaded, no complaints as far as that goes. Was very turned off though that my coupon wasnt scanning on my phone when checking out and while girl was slightly apologetic, instead of figuring it out or scanning a different coupon, she just shrugged and said sorry - which was off putting so I did put several items back since I didnt technically need them (but who can turn a coupon sale down? ) But despite her not being that helpful, the rest of the employees were AWESOME and very friendly.

Great place if you are starting a new hobby .if you sign up you can get great coupons .

I love this Joann, the store is always organized very well (no fabric laying around in the wrong spot) the staff is super friendly (the cutting station employee was genuinely interested in my project and gave me great advice). Over all, would def recommend. The only thing is the bathrooms, theyre always just, absolutely disgusting. I know its a weird thing to have a reaction about a craft store like that but I usually sip my coffee while I peruse and stay a while when Im there, so visits to the bathroom are inevitable. 9/10 would recommend. Happy crafting!

The staff was really nice and helpful, I still felt out of place as a man in a womans store. Next time I will identify as a woman before entering the store and see how that works for me.

Extremely slow service on the register as well as the cutting table. Has a number system for fabric cutting but does not use it.

I love the one on Metcalf in Overland Park. It always has patterns in the drawers. Some of the other locations are sold out during sales. The staff is always helpful.

If you are looking for fresh patterns and different material than what you could see elsewhere, this is your place. It is just more pricey than other craft stores. Joanns is huge and specializes in the things you need instead of having a lot of decor. I do not like the quality of the store itself though. Someone should care a little more of the overall appearance.

Found exactly what I wanted! I ended up buying 3 skeins of yarn rather than 1. Very nice sales staff. Would definitely return to this location.

The staff was Very helpful. I do commercial embroidery and I went to see what they have for me! No real commercial thread, needles etc. But most everything else. A bit pricey. All in all a great place to go for projects. Many items for the hobbies person

There was still lots of fabric when we went a few days ago. This is a great place to go to if you need fabric for masks. The workers were very kind and helpful. There are tons of crafting supplies, and if youre into perler beads, they have a lot of different colors to choose from. They also have really nice pastel chalk.

I always find what I need at Joann’s or their website. Their phone number doesn’t seem to work for curbside pickup, though, and it took 4 or so days for the order to be fulfilled, which would be fine if the app had any communication of the time it would take.

Wish they would open their store hours to normal. Coupons and sales get super confusing. Takes longer to check out. Watch out they give you the price it should be. Even cashiers get confused 😕

You can find anything you need for crafts in here! Youre only limited my your own imagination! The skys the limit! Endless possibilities live here! Love it!

Always like this place, they have alot of variety. Ladies cutting fabric are nice.. the 2 ladies i had to run after on the floor to ask for help... not so nice

Good selection of fabric, but pull a ticket before you find your fabric as you will wait a while to get it cut.

Usually have no issues, but there return process really needs to be updated. Also whoever cut my fabric was unable to cut a straight line. Discovered this once I got home.

Update your hours on google if you are going change them! No other store in our county is operating like this or if they are they have updated their hours to be considerate of their customers.

What is the point of having coupons if they never work!!?!! I bought over $200 worth of fabric, on clearance mind you, and they would not honor my coupons!!! The lady was very nice about it, but it wouldnt scan. And she proceeded to check me out. All she could say is sorry, and wouldnt even try the other three that were valid, she just scanned but did not fix the price....its very frustrating when I have one price in mind, and then I cant even get what I want. I would not have gotten so much if I would have known it wasnt going to be further discounted. This has happened several times now. I dont think Im coming back.

It took a few extra days to get my order, but got all my items and they were very nice.

They dont wear a mask properly. The fabric cutter had her nose hanging out I said something to her and she said I have to be able to breathe. The woman at the register also had her nose poking out. She said Wearing a mask is a matter of opinion. The fact that it is currently the Law means nothing to her. She suggested I make orders online and use curbside pickup. I think they should both be reprimanded.

The yarn selection was lacking. They usually have good sales, too. Not this time. The cashier was very helpful when my app didnt work.

Needed to get some fabric for my daughters school project and they made it simple and easy. So many fabrics to choose from

Cashiers are nicer then the people who cut the fabric. Also, most people who work must be rude in order to get job here. I blame the store manager or management for having such rude staff. It also doesnt help that this store is so under staffed its not funny. 5 total employees to the entire store. Who does the restocking? Are they allowed over time?

I love to crochet and for the best variety on yarn this is the place to shop.

I come here because I have no other choice. Having to wait over an hour to get my fabric cut every time is not acceptable. I have been sitting here for 30 mins already and not a single number has been called. Please just let me cut my own fabric if this is how it is going to be.

The inventory is less and less each time I go in. Dont know what is going on. The rewards have been not been working in the app for over a year.

Large selection of fabric and sewing supplies but not enough staff on hand to check the day we were there. The line was over 20 people. I and several others set our carts to the side and left without making a purchase.

I love this place! They were having a huge gardening sale last time I went and I got a few plant stands for 70% off! Great selection of fabric! Found everything I needed for the costume Im making along with the garden stuff. The cashier, Chloe was super helpful and helped me save an additional 15% off the entire order by signing up for text messages. I will be back!

Went with intention of buying fabric for masks, clearly, as overheard in conversations, many others there for the same reason. Social distance signs everywhere. NOT A SINGLE CASHIER wearing a mask.
