Great POOL HALL! I cant recommend this place enough! Super low prices per hour, great customers, even better staff!!!I came in on a Monday afternoon, lots of players, but plenty of room. The equipment is top notch, very friendly atmosphere, I cant think of anything negative!I also ran into Mark Wilson while there, got an autograph, very nice guy, wish I had time to purchase a lesson while I was there, Ill definitely be back!!!!

In town for a family gathering. Pops wanted to bowl at this place he frequents. Upon arrival, the older man at the register, stopped assisting two customers JUST to BARK procedures and rules at us. He was quite RUDE! I feel he didnt want us there. It was about 15 of us. Guess he doesnt like Green $$$! 🙄 We left after his barking.

My daughter and I went into Cue and Cushion just looking to get some ideas of which pool table we wanted and to see the sizes in person. The customer service Chris gave us was the best I’ve seen in years....exceptional!! He answered all questions and was very patient with my back and forth decisions. We ended up purchasing a table that same day. When I got home, I ended up calling back because I had changed my mind about the size once again. He was with a customer but called me right back. He explained the measurements to me for the 100th time and was still very patient. Our table will be here Tuesday and I will continue to do business with this location. Great collection of cues with decent price range! I bought a Nick Varner sig line cues and played for couple hours in their gigantic pool hall. 9ft tables, 3.90$/hr per person and my new cue (that seems like a great investment so far), what more does anyone want??

It has been 9 years since we got my wife’s dad’s A.E. Schmidt pool table as a house-warming gift. The basement has been mostly finished and we were able to finally play. Cue and Cushion is about 30 min away from us but sooo worth the drive. Chris was at the counter when we entered. Immediately greeted and we started asking questions. Looking for many misc items like new cues, ball set, brush, cue holder, etc. Never once did I feel he was trying to rush us with our decisions. He answered our questions and let us decide unless we specifically asked for his expertise on a subject. My wife is 5’2” so I thought a 48” cue would work for her. There was an older lady near the shorter cues, Shirley. We asked for a 48” cue and she asked us to try it out before purchasing. After a min of her insisting, we finally agreed and she could not have been more correct! If it wasn’t for her insisting, we would have gotten the wrong size cue for my wife and she wouldn’t have been happy. My wife preferred the 52” cue instead of the 48”. Thank you Shirley for insisting we try it. A nice family owned pool hall and supply store. Good rates and prices. Because of Chris and Shirley’s treating everyone like family mentality, they have another customer for life. Thank you.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. As i was hesitant on the exact set of darts i wanted to purchase, they were very patient with me asking to see this set, then that set, then this set and and that set again...lol The only complaint i would have and its not just cushion and Cues, its any dart shop around the st. louis area, I was unable to throw the darts to see how they felt. What they did though is after I purchased a set, they told me if i try them out and realize they a re not a good fit for me, that i could bring them back the next day and look at other sets. In my opinion they are a billard store first, then a dart shop. With that being said, they are the best dart shop in town. I recommend you visit them over a any others in town.

As a woman who also enjoys playing pool, I have to say that I have never felt safer at a pool hall than at Cue & Cushion. Ive been a regular patron for over 20 years playing for fun on a weekend, or more seriously in their Monday night league. Many times I am alone, and frequently can be the only woman in the place for hours. I have never once felt uncomfortable, unsafe or threatened. The same cant be said for other pool halls and bars in the area. The owners do a fabulous job keeping the good customers happy and asking the troublemakers and bad customers to kindly not return. The only people that dont like this are the actual troublemakers. But it says a lot for a company to value their good customers so much that they arent willing to indulge the bad elements for the sake of a few bucks. Cue and Cushion is run by a family with integrity. In this day and age, that is almost nonexistent.C&C is smoke free and doesnt serve alcohol, so a lot of the drama that comes with the bar scene doesnt happen there, which is another big plus. If youre looking to play serious pool, or seriously just want to chill out with friends and hit the balls around in a safe and fun environment, this is the place for you.

Pretty cool place off Woodson and Page. We went to buy some steel tip dart supplies. We got what we needed, but the place is really for pool players. They have a billiards area where you can pay to play.It seemed pretty cheap and they had a good amount of people in there playing.The staff was very nice and helpful.

I have been playing pool for a little over 25 years and have gotten to know Cue and Cushion Billiards and its owners very well. When I got out of the Navy in 1996 I asked people I knew where the best place to play pool was in St Louis and they all said Cue and Cushion. I got to be known as a pretty good short stop in the pool world and made a lot of good acquaintances. Ive played in every bar, pool room, casino, VFW, and Moose Lodge that has a pool table and the Cue and cushion team ranked very HIGH in professionalism, honesty, equipment, and most of all, customer service!! Any one that is interested in learning to play pool or just wants to play pool, Cue and Cushion is a GREAT establishment. A lot of great players frequent there and like to help people play the game of pool!!

Maintained by a family that cares enough to value the pool playing public, the staff at Cue and Cushion is friendly and welcoming. St. Louis pool is largely dominated by Bar Boxes. Cue and Cushion does have one bar box and some eight foot tables, but the large majority of the tables are nine foot Gold Crown and Diamond tables. They also have a snooker table and a three cushion billiard table.Ive been a customer at Cue and Cushion for a few years now and have always been treated in a positive way and know known by name to the staff. Cue and Cushion is a non smoking and alcohol free pool room for which I am very appreciative. They also host a Monday night, in house 9-Ball League which I thoroughly enjoy participating in. I recommend Cue and Cushion to anyone who enjoys pool.

I had my pool table rails recovered by Cue and Cushion and I was very pleased. Not only did Cue and Cushion do a great job recovering the railings but I felt the price was extremely reasonable and the time it took to recover was extremely fast. I have been doing business with the cue and cushion family for 30 years. From buying a pool table/pool stick/multiple tip replacements/dart board/having my rails redone and bedcloth replaced to playing a few games in a friendly atmosphere where your treated like family. There is couple things you can always count on at this family run business / great customer service / unbelievable pricing and honest people that stand behind everything they sell long after the sale. I have recommended this place to all my friends and family and will continue to do so forever.

This place is really a hole in the wall in my opinion. Very cheap by the hr per person play it cost 7 dollars for 2 of us to shoot some pool for an hr. It was roomy plenty of tables. Small snack and soda selection no bar

Walked in to trade a pink stealth pool cue for the same one valued at the same price in the show case it was black with red tribal going down the side. the younger guy I was dealing with said it was brand new. knowing a former friend owned this black stealth cue, i knew tgis kid was lying. I told him this fact and it should have been an even trade. I should not of had to give them 2 cases and two pool cues. Becareful with the young guy that works there he is a shady guy, will make you give him everything you got.

For the pro player the price is adequate, for me Ill stick to the pay per game. I do like the atmosphere.
