I would like to shout out to Casey one of your volunteers for helping me shop yesterday what a gentleman
Easy quick in and out pantry offering weekly and monthly visits. Everyone welcome once a week and staff gives you cart of food. Make a monthly appointment and you can shop and select your food. Must be a RITENOUR School District Resident.. Wonderful Staff.
The people are very pleasant and polite. The place was very organized and clean.
Great food pantry. Bring mail and id.
Really love this.
Great staff, hug facility, and helping lots of families.
I was very impressed with the monthly Mobile Market at the Ritenour Co-Care location. I had not been before. There was good variety and the people helping were wonderful and upbeat. Everyone was very helpful. Thanks for all the help. It truly is appreciated. I dont know how I would manage without your help. Again thank you.
Dropping off donation. Great thing to have in this community.
This is not a grocery store. It is a life saver for helping me take care of myself and my mother. The volunteers there are friendly and eager to help. I cant say enough about this place except they need donations from big businesses.
My first experience at a food pantry little embarrassed but the ladies there put me so much at ease they were just amazing a great selection of items and a great saving for someone who lives on Social Security. God bless them allIve started using Ritenour co-op again and I have to tell you its as great as it was before my favorite thing in this weeks food was the homegrown tomatoes I dont care how many different kinds of tomatoes they have at the store they do not taste like homegrown thank you whoever grew those tomatoes and donated them to the food bank I cant stop eating them they are absolutely amazing thank you very very much.
This is a Food Pantry for those in financial need. They are at full capacity. I dont know if they have a wait list. The volunteers are very nice and helpful. You are allowed 1 visit per month, this has definitely been a blessing for my family.
Been going there for years. Brother was turned away because he didnt bring utility bills in his name. People can live in residence without having a bill in their name. Bills are in other residents name and he had mail and ID showing his address. Wasnt aware he even had to have so went back home to get and igonart guy working there refused it. Took it all month before and no one asked for it. Including the Electric bill in which was in brothers name and sisters. Guy told him to leave and not come back and was very rude and disrespectful. My brother got mad naturally after being talked upon like that. Who wouldnt. Have some compassion for people.
My opinion - best food pantry in the St Louis area. Must live in the Ritenour school district - proof of residency is verified. With some planning & freezer room Ive been able to make food stretch from pantry for 3-12 days.
I went there with my son Ive been out of work for 6 months now all we had in the fridge was some butter and old cream cheese we were both so so so hungry about to eat spoon dulls of butter .we got there at 1145 and we went in and asked for help she said you have to be on the list. I dont know if she saw the look on my face or she saw my son and she said I can get you a few emergency bags I said Ill take whatever you can help with.I left there with a huge shopping cart full of good and like real food bread and eggs and milk. And so much more and then I found out that they had closed an hour eralyer. So not only did they help us an hour after they were closed but gave us way more food then we could have wished for. Thank you Jesus for these people and this place!!!!!!
They are friendly and helpful
When times that you help with food to provide for you family. You will receive more food than you need. The have great voluntary staff. That sure you help with your needs
This place has helped my family out for years. The staff is very friendly and caring. Theres usually a wait list to get into the food pantry. You can visit 1 per month. You have to be in the ritenour school district to qualify.

Best food pantry in St Louis and Ive been to all of them its the only one I go to now. Really really nice people, lots of good food however you have to live in the Ritenour school district ( Overland, St Ann, Breckenridge Hills, Pagedale, Woodson Terrace, St John, ). I got a free turkey there with all the trimmings yesterday. Wonderful people.
Friendly staff. Always keep the place clean and in top shape. Staff is always ready and willing to help everyone. Very well organized.
They do amazing things here and the food selection is great for the people who depend of this place. Consider volunteering here!
Staff were friendly and helpful, without being patronizing. They seemed to care. If something wasnt on the shelves, they checked to see if it was in stock.
Very hard-working and careing people, great food and importantly clean food, as a volunteer at this location I highly recommend applying here if your in need of food or just dont have the money this week. The people here have hearts of gold and use hawk eyes to get out bad food.
Great staff. Always making sure those in need get the most out of their visit
Always been helpful to me an my family. They do need donations since st ann is closing on of the donation stores.

Nicest people ever!! So thankful for what they do for those in need .
Although this place gives away a whole lot of food and it is outdated or almost outdated, Im thankful, especially when going through tough times right now. I mean, who can complain about free food?

Food
I have never done this before. The people working there were the kindest, most thoughtful people Ive been around in a very long time. So much to choose from, so many products to supplement so many meals. I have donated food in the past, but falling on hard times myself, its good to know there is help, without feeling Im being judged. Thanks to each and every one of you!!!
