They have all the office stuff you need, we shop at the stores cause even if you buy from Amazon you get ripped off. You can see, feel, and touch what your buying here. And you wont get ripped off. Because of the 3rd party sellers on these websites they are getting away with robbery. Be 🐝 safe

Terrible experience. Terrible location. This is the first time Ive ever had an issue with Staples. We just needed to make color copies on photo paper. This could ONLY be done by providing a flash drive to the less -than-helpful employee behind the counter. We had to make another trip home to copy the file and return to Staples. With all the technology in the world today and you cant look up our code and print the file?? Seriously, I wont be back.

This is a nice resource to have locally. They have a tremendous supply of office resources in stock and local to Oviedo. I have stopped by several times, and they provide good customer service. On one occasion, I was looking for a multifunction printer, and they did not have it in stock. Rather than steering me to something in stock, the tech sales supervisor steered me to their online website. Of course, its the pandemic, and it appeared to be out of stock. Nonetheless, the product shipped the very next day. You cant beat honesty.

Go somewhere else for printing. You call them, they tell you your order is ready, then you spend time and money getting to the store, once you do then they suddenly forget you called and even tell you that YOU hung up on them and they never said the order was ready. I guess I just totally fabricated this 6 minute call that I have logged on my phone right outta thin air. Also I 100% believe all 5 star reviews are from employees or the manager.

They will claim they have whatever you ask for. You spend time and money coming to the store and when you get there, they magically forget about the phone call. I won’t spend another penny in this place until they reimburse me for the time and money they stole from me.

The General Manager and her employees are the epitome of abhorrent customer service representatives. Completely DISRESPECTFUL in regard to the service of the consumer! APATHETIC at BEST! The representative running the print counter is equally as apathetic, not helpful or interested in helping the customers but rather concerned with the closing time. Mind you if either had offered help in regard to the situation I could have very easily printed my documents and been on my way before closing time. If I could give a negative star rating I would. And did I mention the GM touching me and trying to cancel my order after I had already paid because I wasn’t wearing a mask. The DOOR CLEARLY STATES A MASK IS REQUESTED, NOT REQUIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I personally feel corporate should and will be notified of her lack of ability to control her actions when confronted. And she should be strongly reprimanded! Do yourselves a favor and travel to a better managed more consumer-friendly store across town.

Poor customer service today. I was shocked. Waited inline for a return. After waiting 10 min, we had to call a manager. Waited another 10 min. General Manager Erin didnt even want to help what so ever. Kept saying online purchase has to be returned online. When it clearly says on my purchase order If you ordered your item online or by catalog, you can bring your item to any Staples retail store along with your receipt or package slip. I purchased an item online. The mechanism didnt work. Erin made it clear their store didnt get the purchase and she wasnt taking the return. Many computers in the store, phones, and not even an attempt to help me with an online return or call the corporate number. Nothing. Shes right she didnt get the sale and no more sales from me. Been in Oviedo and like to keep everything here for the economy, but no more. Bad thing for the store is also I have a corporate account. She lost personal business and my corporate office needs as well.

Just have an awful experience at the Staples when their print system clearly wasnt working. When I addressed the issue with the person in charge of the copy center they told me my only option was to use their paid computer in order to pull up the document and then try it again. So Im getting charged extra because something on there side doesnt work ? Top notch ya got there Staples.

COVID Karen works here. Forgot my mask, so I asked for one. She said no, but I could buy one and I agreed. She said that I had to pay for the mask before shopping, like I was going to steal it. I explained we have an account and I was only here for one item and I would pay for the mask at check out together. She took the item away and said no, her manager would not allow that. I left and went to Office Depot without issue. This is terrible customer service.

I had the absolute worst experience with Karen the store manager that I’ve ever had at Staples, this morning. Started by her frustrated demeanor when stomping from the back room because an employee needed help with my question about honoring an advertisement sale posted at the store.The ad CLEARLY stated they will price match 110% “any competitors price”. It had no conditions, no ‘see details’, no exceptions at all. Well guess what... Karen came out completely resistant to honoring it. Even to the point where I said it was false advertisement if they weren’t going to honor it... and her response... “OK”. She didn’t care. She didn’t want to help. She didn’t even want to know the competitors price was to see if it was close. She didn’t try at all. She made rules up as she went along because it was about her winning the argument, not putting the customer first. Not to mention it took 2 hours for the whole ordeal and I was the first person in the store in the morning. Super slow.You know I walked out thinking to myself... if this was amazon... this would have never happened. Customers have choices and don’t need to deal with managers like this. Toys R Us, Sears, and other major retailers are filing for bankruptcy at a staggering rate... and customer experience like this, I guarantee, will drive you faster to the bottom.Today, Staples loses. I went to their competitor OfficeMax right up the street and happily gave them my business. I may be a drop in the bucket to Staples and that’s how they treated me, but just a few more of those will turn a community thanks to review sites like this.For me, I won’t ever be back again. Went in to get some ink for my business and was publicly addressed about not wearing a mask and I couldnt shop there without one. I asked if they recognize exemptions and he said no, we do not recognize any exemptions. I told the boss and she contacted a manager in store which told her I was vulgar went spoken to about the mask. I only said 1 do you recognize exemptions, and 2 ok I wont shop here. I guess thats vulger. Never will do business with Staples again. There loss for not reading the ordinance and lack of training their associates correctly. Ill add that I went down the street to Office Depot and they welcomed me without any issues. They have a loyal client now.

I’ve come here twice today. Both times I have waited in very long lines and received poor customer service. It seems like Staples doesn’t really go the extra mile to help it’s customers. I tried to print something multiple times, it didn’t work and the employee told me to go somewhere else.

Staples stores are becoming harder and harder to find as of late; I wasnt looking for one while running my errands today but when I saw this store from the road, I had to go in! There are a few different types of Stylus pens that Ive seen on Amazon and in my opinion, when it comes to writing on smaller screens, Stylus pens are just one of those things that I have to see in person before I buy them.So, I have been looking around at every type of chain store that would carry items like these... and up until today I havent had any luck. But interestingly enough, I finally found the exact same two pens that Ive been hunting for. Even though the packaging was designed to be opened and closed again for the sole purpose of being sampled in-store... but the gentleman that had brought me over to where the pens were located wouldnt allow me to open the packaging. That was fine; I felt that even just seeing and holding them in their packaging was satisfactory enough. They were only about three dollars cheaper on Amazon, and I would really have rather been able to buy them right then and there for the sake of instant gratification, but I quickly snapped back into reality and remembered that waiting two whole days for them to arrive in the mail wasnt going to drive me crazy.The store itself was completely empty except for the salesman/cashier and myself - and I think I saw another employee come out onto the floor for a minute and then disappeared again. The store did look pretty clean, nothing that I noticed was disheveled or seemingly out of place.Still... a Staples is a Staples and being such a rarity now, theyre worth looking into.

Needed to get prints. Two machines were down. Waited for 15 minutes to get help. Finally someone asked me what I needed. Then they proceeded to cut off the machines to get them to work. I had to wait while it rebooted. So the person after me received help while I waited. The reboot only took 3 minutes but I had to wait another 10 minutes while she helped those who came after me. Then she returned to help me, and nothing was resolved. I waited almost 30 minutes to get 2 copies. The nice older couple that was using the only working machine finished. That’s the only reason I was able to get the two copies. Poor customer service.

Had the worst experience with Erin the general store manager today, she was extremely hostile, followed my sister and I down the store aisles aggressively yelling at us that the store was closing in two minutes and that we needed to leave NOW! As we approached the front of the store to leave, two other customers happen to walk inside Staples at 6:01 PM to be exact. These two customers weren’t greeted with the same disgusting manner. I would advise all guest with a visible ethnic background to utilize other surrounding stores within Oviedo.

Not sure about all the bad reviews, Ive been going to this Staples location for the better part of 10 years. Always welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable staff, never pushing purchases on you or pushing you out and Ive came in 5 minutes prior to closing time a couple of times. There is an unknown sorcery that Staples has been cursed with and I always have to purchase something when inside and I have zero self control. The store is always in order, except the chair aisle but that is understandable as you cant depend on people to pick up after themselves BUT that also helped me find a very reliable and sturdy desk chair that I still have some 5 years ago. Not the best prices but come on, a $25 stapler that never fails, looks good and is completely unique?! All that packed in an office supply store is a recipe for success. Love the clearance stuff and there is always a good selection of items.

Crystal,who is an assistant manager in Oviedo, invited me to the store to collect a rebate which was due to me. Erroneously, it was not paid out by a Staples Inc. rebate dept. I am a relatively reasonable person. I can understand the division between large companies such as Staples Corp and Retail. That said, I have never had quite such a negative customer service experience from a member of management as I did this morning, in quite some time. Lets be clear, the rebate amount is in the neighborhood of $20.00. I drove from Geneva FL, a good 30 minutes when I was INVITED to come and collect the rebate. There is a human element involved here. I was not greeted by the manager nicely whatsoever. She was moody, short, unapologetic, and was plain wrong. She suggested that I take a phone number to call, which I had tried to do numerous times before making the drive into town. Her excuse, you need to take this up with Staples, does NOT work once you have told me, YOUR CUSTOMER, over the phone to drive in for their rebate. Take it up with Staples?..... Isnt that what Im doing? I am STANDING in Staples. Absolutely & ENTIRELY inexcusable!!!!!

Seems like all the good the reviews here might be by employees or paid. Manager would not honor the price match policy even when product UPC matches. walks away. I told her the policy online clearly states will price match anything locally or online if provided proof. which I did. when asked its against policy as stated online she said you are buying in store not online when I asked for the instore policy, she said You can check that online contradict much?

I feel the logistics of your supply chain management needs improvement. I needed an internal hard drive for my laptop and the shelf was empty. This can lead to a real negative consequence for your overall brand equity. Online purchases cannot resolve immediate situations. I feel this is one of the flaws with Just- in-time inventory accountability.

I will NEVER shop at this store again! I have never met ruder people in my entire life! I was looking for ink for my computer and a file organizer which an employee was already helping me with. The poor customer service started with him. I asked him for help and he told me that I had to leave the store. The stores closing time wasn’t for another 20mins so I did convince him to show me. During that time he was talking down to me and had an attitude. After not being able to find what I needed, I continued to walk out of the store. I was walking my normal pace and the manager said “the store is closed, you better get out of here” I have never been talked to like that from anyone in my entire life. I understand I was there close to closing but I still made it out of the store 5 mins before it closed.

Went to have pictures printed in the photo department. Uploaded the pictures like in the past. The woman said they would be done the next day I acknowledged that it was ok as it was not a urgent. For some reason she repeated this 3 more times. Then when we told her the size we wanted (5x7) this time the woman said she would charge extra to pick the size. You have to pick a size when they come over. Is this becoming extra fees for everything now. What bad customer service. Wow!!!

I have to agree with the majority of folks here about the lack of customer service at this Staples location. I went in to recycle some old cell phones (the Staples website states that all of their stores accept electronics for recycling), but was told by Karen that they no longer do this. I stated that the company website says otherwise and she stammered that they stopped a few months back. Well, her explanation was kind of sketchy, so I called another Staples location in the area and was told that electronics are accepted for recycling at all Staple locations. So, basically Karen lied to my face as she apparently did not want to waste her time on me. Good job Karen! Like most all people, I dont like being lied to, and I definitely wont be back to your store. In fact, Ill be sure to tell others to avoid it as well.

I placed an online in store pick up order and received the order confirmation almost immediately. After around 15 mins, i received another email stating that my order was ready for pick up. I went to the store the next day morning and the store associate told me they never received any of my order. While i handed them my order number, they suddenly changed their words and said that the item i ordered was out of stock. I left back to the car and got an email from them which said We are unable to continue holding your items in store. What a ridiculous behavior it is! The even weird thing is my friend had his online in store order with the same item which was placed after my order, but she got picked up!I rarely shop at this store. The same situation happened before to me about 1 and half year ago. I have to give 1 star because there is no 0 star option available which is deserved according to the store experience

Dont buy their warranty plans! Purchased an HP Officejet Pro X476dw 7/5/2013. The all in one HP has completely stopped working. Made initial contact 2/19/15 with Staples Warranty division was first advised that in 4 hours I would get a call back. 2/20/15 called warranty division back to follow up and oh wouldnt you know it- its actually 4 days NOT 4 hours to get a call back. I use the all in one in a very busy office environment and we are suffering greatly without it but that does not seem to concern Staples. Visited the local Oviedo store on 2/23 to see if the manager could help me. He took copy of warranty & said he would call be end of day or possibly first thing the next day. Waited patiently thinking surly a store manager would help get this resolved, especially since our office does so much business with their store. Lunch time next day called the store, he was off for the day! Called the our account manager on 2/23- still no help. Doesnt sound like they are really in the warranty business- what a scam!

I bought a tablet there that had to be exchanged because of dead pixels. Staples has been good to me in the past when it comes to this (I had the same exact problem when I bought a monitor from them). This time, they they replaced it, they also convinced me to buy the insurance by telling me complete lies (I read the terms later). Also, the last time I exchanged one they told me they were making an exception (I hadnt noticed the pixel until 16 days later) and told me I would have to deal with the insurance/warranty people after that. This was also a lie, as their exchanges are processed as returns and new purchases. It seems the staff will say anything to get you to keep buying their things--dont trust a word of what they say. As much as I hate Walmart, even THEY have a better return/exchange procedure than Staples does (not saying you should buy from Walmart, I am a proponent of online purchasing :D).

I bought a router a little over two years ago and found out I didnt need it. When I tried to return it after 31 days after I purchased it they wouldnt let me. When I spoke to the manager about it and told him that it hadnt been used, he saw that the box had not even been opened. He told me that he was sorry but it had been over 30 days. When I asked him what difference one day made and said that the router was just as new as it was the day before, he just smugly shrugged his shoulders and said that it was their policy. I could believe it! Then told him that he had just lost a customer and he just smiled and said, Oh well.I have never stepped foot back in that store again.

The worst Staples local store i have ever been to. Terrible customer service, Nobody never even says hello to you anytime you walk into the store. The cashier never asks if you have a reward account with Staples. Never able to find any penny stuff or 10c stuff as listed in the Ad, doubt if they never offer it. The cashier seems like never see a Staples coupon, will always call manager if you try to use a coupon. Doubt if the cashier has been trained for any Staples coupon section. The manager is even ridiculous that hell try to find any weird reasons to prevent you using it and give you the gray face-looking and impatient altitude.Will never go to this store anymore
