Walked in looking to purchase a lower reciever for my first AR-15 build. I was greeted by everyone in the store and got helped right away. Jeff assisted in making sure I had the right receiver and got all the paper work done, while Ken gave me great information on tools and legality on building a rifle. Great group of guys all around.

All the staff were amazing, friendly, & extremely helpful. Eddie went out of his way to share some of his wisdom & point me in the right direction to be able to build my first AR-15. No other gun shop has helped me out like the staff here, especially me being a young woman. Will 1000% return & recommend to everyone. Thank you Eddie!!

This is one of the best gun stores in the Oviedo area. If your looking for a quality firearm, accessory, or simply ammo this is the place to go. The staff is honest, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. In addition they have items in-stock in the store that you simply cannot find at any other local store without a special order.

Excellent store with outstanding customer service. I always come here whether Im looking for something new to have fun with at the range, to do an FFL transfer, or to just ask questions. The staff is always very friendly, and happy to help out. Most recently when I visited, I worked with Eddie who helped me figure out all the legal hoops of NFA territory for the first time, and he was awesome. Super helpful with explaining how the process works, and helping me make sure I filled out all my forms and paperwork correctly. 10/10, would recommend this store to anyone!

Went to this establishment one of the workers was very rude and disrespectful . The person that helped me asked me to ignore the young employee. He himself was helpful and a gentleman. Don’t see myself going back there .

Found this place almost 2 years ago on a whim and it is still the only place I shop. I still remember my first trip in and how awesome Eddy was even though I made it clear I wasnt purchasing anything that day. Since then, I have purchased multiple firearms and accessories from them and is my go to for anything firearm related. Always fair prices and great help with making decisions. They have also been incredibly fair with their ammo pricing during the pandemic unlike almost ever other retailer. Top notch establishment and staff!

I called multiple stores, 10+, for a particular item and each employee who answered didnt give me the time of day and were eager to tell me they didnt have what I was trying to buy.Rob OBrien, Sales Manager, answered my call at The Armories in Oviedo and also didnt have the exact item in stock but took the time to question what my needs were and advised me on multiple solutions at the Oviedo store.Rob made the sale happen and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. I was surprised at how knowledgeable the staff was, usually When I’ve been to other stores and start bringing up new guns or accessories the staff seems lost. As I watched them interact with other customers it became apparent they were up to date with current firearms, accessories and ammo. The store had plenty of product at very good prices. I will be stopping by this week to buy a carbine gun case and maybe a lower or 2.

The Armories of Oviedo is the best gun store I have experienced in many years. I have been to many across the Southeast, and I am impressed with the knowledgeable staff and great prices. Most important is the fact that they actually have inventory that many of the larger stores do not. There are gun sellers with nice cases but empty. Armories in Oviedo had exactly what I was looking for at great prices.

I absolutely love this place! Customer service is always top-notch, and their selection is great. Was able to buy a break action shotgun for a very reasonable price, and now my son and I are having an absolute blast. Pun intended.

It appears you have no genuine intention to do anything here, except try to make it look to viewers like you are trying to do something when in reality, based on your response, you arent.Original Post: Extremely disappointed and honestly surprised at how recent issue with purchase was handled. Purchased firearm they had to transfer from Kissimmee location. When it arrived 3 days later, I discovered the price tag on the gun itself was $110 less than what I paid. I assumed they would either credit back the difference or at the very least offer to provide a credit towards my next purchase. After waiting a week for an email or call back, when I called to follow up I was told they werent sure why the other location was charging a different price, pricing changes frequently and there was nothing they could, or rather were willing, to do. I am a repeat customer and these are the kind of situations that make me not want to go out of my way to support the local guy. I can usually find things cheaper online and have options of where to spend my money. Very short-sighted handling of things, repeat customer or not.

I went in for my first pistol and spoke to Max. He was awesome, suggested some good pistols, I told him my price range and found the best possible suit for me. I came back to pick it up after my background check and spoke with another guy, unfortunately I forget his name but he recommended the appropriate bullets and holsters I would need since I will be an armed security guard. Every time I go there I am greeted and made sure someone was helping me . I will not buy from anyone else ! Not to mention that you get free cleaning and maintenance for your fire arm !Edit: came back 9 months later to buy my cc weapon and as usual was greet upon entering found the fire arm I wanted and was advised on which one I was looking at that performed the best. I will always take these guys advice. Took it to the range and it’s awesome, will be in soon for my cleaning !! I don’t care how far away I am I will always come to The Armories and as we speak my brother in law is starting to look as he just moved to FL and I told him first stop is the Armories !!

Excellent service! I was greeted the moment I walked through the door by Kenny. He spent a ton of time discussing various pistols I was interested in and even gave me a few history lessons on the 1911, the 10mm round, and more. Extremely personable, knows his stuff, and even shared his own experience on gun ownership. I’m new to the state and unable to purchase right away but that did NOT detour him from assisting me. Will be returning to purchase my pistol as soon as I become a permanent resident.

As a first time gun owner, I was looking for something for home defense. This was my first trip ever to a gun store. Tim took the time to make me feel comfortable answering my novice questions while providing me some instruction along the way. Giving me a few choices to consider, I went home to research and came back the next morning to make a purchase. I was later told by a firearm instructor that I made a Fantastic Choice!A few weeks later, I had been searching online for a specific model for a concealed carry choice and could not find it anywhere. Once again I called The Armories in Oviedo (not knowing it was more than an hour before they opened) and Kenny answered and said they had it !!!I was there when they opened and was met by Kenny who brought the gun out to show me. I was thrilled! My search was over. This was #2 purchase from them.On both occasions after the background check and wait periods, I went back for pickup. Every single trip to this store I was met by someone who was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. This is my #1 go to firearm store and I highly recommend them. And I love my hat!

Im new to gun ownership in FL (Im a transplant). I started searching at a prominent local store where I was clearly a sale in their eyes, not a long term customer relationship. Eventually I found The Armories in Ovideo FL. Ive now purchased 1 hand gun and transferred a long gun through their shop PLUS purchased many accessories and much ammo. These guys are attentive, competent, not egotistical (nice change from the other place I went to). They care to give me info and balance the high traffic in the store with my need for information before I buy. Customer service in a high demand time such as this is difficult but I feel like theyve found their mojo in that respect. Ive taken to following them on Instagram to stay in the know on Ammo shipments and also get a good laugh now and then, too. Really like Kenny there - good kid, humble but hes clearly a true pro and knows his stuff. I have my eye on a few more guns and a new scope this year and Ill buy from The Armories because my comfort level is there.

I think the staff here is a great! They are professional, welcoming, attentive, great humour and of course good knowledge of their products. I wouldnt expect less. Being female I wasnt intimidated at all As a matter of fact, I am a rookie as far as purchasing firearms. I was directed by one of the staff memebers. He totally understood when I said rookie. He proceeded to show me about 7 different firearms and the last one was the right one. He watched for tha grin you get when you found the right thing you were looking for. What I thought was special that I didnt expect was the treatment and encouragement to own a fire arm and I am not talking about a push for a sale. The positive feed back gave me strength to over come the anxiety of a purchase. I did purchase the sig sauer 9mm p320 which was the last one I was shown at the time it was perfect for me. I visited the Armories in mid-March to purchase a 9MM. Everything went smoothly, and I was told that I would be able to pick up my gun within 3 business days when the background check cleared. As of yesterday, my background check was still in a ‘decision pending’ status. I understand that the Armories has no control over that.I asked for a refund of my purchase, since I’ve had neither the gun nor my money for close to 2 months. I was informed that I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. That was the first time I had been informed of that policy—no mention of it was made when I paid for the gun. I asked for an exception for the fee, considering the circumstances and the current state of things. I talked to Store Manager Rob O’Brien, who advised he would check with the owners and call me back. I called back a week later after not hearing from him, and one of the employees told me that the owners had informed Rob that there would be no exception to the policy.I have plans to buy several more guns in the near future, and hoped to find a good partner in The Armories. Unfortunately, I found a business that is unethical and does not work in the best interest of their customers. The Armories has held my money for almost 2 months, and will take 20% for their “inconvenience.” They can have that $90, but will have thousands in lost revenue as a result of their decision. I will not be doing business with them in the future.

I love this place, I bought my first gun about a week ago from here and just recently was able to shoot it in my dads backyard. They helped me choose a good multipurpose pistol for self defense, conceal carry and gun range use. They gave me recommendations on where to go and what to do next so I can get my conceal permit.As I am a college student 21 years of age they helped me choose an affordable pistol that is reliable and fits my needs. They have a large selection of pistols and are very kind when you’re looking for a firearm, the staff is helpful, professional and not pushy to make a sale. They are quite knowledgeable about which firearms are good to use and reliable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase their first firearm!!

Great experience! Went into the store to check in a trigger job for an M&P, it was my first time going. The store was very busy. One of the clerks went into the back to grab another employee to come out and help me. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Not pushy and very helpful. I will be doing business with them in the future for sure. Better to support your local gun shops instead of the online giants.

I accidentally went to Lord of war firearms by mistake and wish I had never walked through the front door. ANY QUESTIONS??I quickly found my way to the armories in Oviedo and Robert OBrien took me under his wing, was happy to address all my questions which led to my purchasing the Springfield XDS 9MM and he even worked with me on pricing which led me to purchase all my ammo in-house as well.This is the place to go, hands down! Been to this store a few times and the one thing that always stands out is how helpful and informative the staff is when being asked a question. Even when the answer is obvious. The first time I noticed it was when one of the guys was helping someone else and I was taken aback by how nice the guy was being to them. Then it was my turn to be helped and they did not disappoint. In an industry where people that work at these type of stores can be jerks for no reason its refreshing to see people that care to share knowledge instead of only trying to make money. If they had a range on site they’d have all of my “gun stuff” budget money!

If youre looking to purchase this is a place to check out.Second visit -arrived when they opened and had no less than 6 of them greeting me as I walked in. The Sig Sauer rep was in that day, and I was looking for at a certain model. After some trying of several models to see which one fit best in my hand, we had a winner. Sale price beat everyone else hands down. Also picked up an optic on sale and they made purchasing a NFA item easy (kiosk on site). The staff knows their stuff, and they want happy customers, which I am. Will be returning on my way through town.Update 11/7/2020 - Ive been visiting The Armories for several years now when I travel through the area (living several hours drive away). Ive purchased several more guns, a shotgun, ammo, accessories (upgrades to my favorite toy, plus magazines, cases, etc) and have also had a few repairs done. All of the staff is extremely helpful and very professional!! Ive referred a number of people to the store and will continue to do so, even though for some it is a several hour drive to visit there. Hands-down my go to store for purchasing guns & ammo. All the employees are terrific and very knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I called in to see what their suppressor inventory was so I could come in and actually hold a few different suppressors. I was told they have a few dozen in stock to look at. When I arrived I was presently surprised at not only how many they had but all of the employees that had experience shooting all of the different cans. I went in there with every intention of purchasing a suppressor. After talking will all of the guys in the shop not only did I buy a suppressor I bought four of them. I also purchased two guns that day. Rob the store manager was so much help and has been every day after. This is my gun store from here forward. You can look online all day but until you go actually hold a firearm or accessory you don’t know if it is right for you. That is why retail stores need to be around. Support your local gun store. Don’t buy online until you give your local gun store the opportunity to earn your business. They have certainly earned mine. Thank you Rob, you have a great team there.

Good selection, terrible service. They dont have enough people on the floor and they expect customers to just wait while the few employees deal with one customer at a time even if its someone taking their sweet yime and asking a million questions. I was ready to buy a pistol but after being ignored for twenty minutes I gave up. Ill go spend my $800 at Shoot Staight.

I have had great experience with them in until a recent interaction. They have been fair though these times of great shortage but to find out my LGS refuses to sell items they have on hand in store to further gouge the customer by only selling it on gunbroker is disappointing. I have nothing but respect for the employees but somewhere in management it has been lost the importance LGS play to some individuals.Update:The armories went out of there to reach out and better explain and help me. This personal outreach is more indicative to what I have become used to working with them. This personal touch is what I truly enjoy about a good LGS. It goes a long way towards me continuing my patronage at their stores.

Walked in today and they had a couple of people in there. I milked around looking for a better carry, saw the Hellcat and would of liked to see it. In the time I was there three other folks came in and were Greeted and helped and no one even so much as acknowledged my presence.I only assume since I was not wearing nice clothes that they felt I had no business to give them?Well, I can tell you where I work (Osceola) I have several folks who have told me to stay away from that store. I live in Oviedo and decided to see if they had anything of interest....which they did....but apparently my money would not be good enough for them for them to just simply ignore me.Until they figure out customer service, I’d stay away.

I visited the Oviedo store today 9-30-20. I was greeted poorly I think because I had on a Mask. which I was wearing because I have CANCER. I asked for a laser sight for my sig P365. the salesmen (LOL) was the person that sold me my P365. he stated that he did not have a sight . i asked if any of the other stores have one he said he doesnt known and he would have to call. and did not offer to call. I think this guy is one of the owners and he thought he was my customer not me his. I will let all my friends know, that buy guns and hunt. BEWARE!!!!!!

Ive been in and out of many gun stores in Orlando and I have to say this place hands down is the best they take time to explain every question I have i never feel rushed and every single one of them has knowledge of everything they sell i cant say enough good about the place and by my estimates their prices are better then any place Ive been to, great staff great prices very helpful and accommodating and friendly definitely will be doing all my business with them.

I came into the Aloma location with zero experience with firearms of any type but was need of protection. Robert was amazing. He explained and showed me different types of firearms and helped me choose one to fit my needs. In addition to this, he went out of his way to help me set up training ASAP knowing that time was of the essence for me. The trainer he set me up with was great as well. Hello, my experience was very bad, I bought a gun in cash, then I filled out the application to buy it for $ 600.00 they told me to go after 3 days when I went they denied me the weapon because supposedly I had failed in one of the questions, they told me that I had I had to go to the cherry dpt, to look for some prints, which I could never do because they never called me back, because there were many setbacks. First they were supposed to do the backgound check, second I bought the weapon in cash, when they gave me the cash they doubled the part they dont want you to see. When I arrived at the kissimmee time I explained the situation and told him that I want my money back, without thinking the seller opened the receipt and told me that if I had read the bottom of it, I said no, they charged me $ 120.00, when not even the gun was in my house, much less out of time. My friend, how many times have you sold that gun to many people, getting rich from the poprey of others who with effort work very hard for that purpose. They marginalize you, they do not give you an explanation or a way to help you get your gun, knowing that you have not made any mistakes in the community where you live, I went to another place and in less than 30 minutes I was approved and now it only remains to wait 3 days to pick it up, open your eyes wide in what you do they are stealing your money in the most vile they are thiefs .Thank you

As a first time gun buyer I had a lot of questions. I chose this shop because of the good reviews online. I gotta say I was really impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Robbie answered every question I had and made some recommendations based on my preferences. Didnt need to look elsewhere, ended up buying from them immediately. Priced were better than comparable shops online, without having to incur on transfer fees. And buying from them allows you to take your gun to their shop for professional cleaning, for life. Go in and see Andrew. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and helped me get my suppressor transferred in smoothly. This is my first class 3 item, and didn’t know the whole process. Andrew explained each step and helped me get everything done. I’m excited to get my suppressor, and will definitely be buying all my parts from The Armories now.

To begin, I’m not a brand new customer to this shop. I’ve purchased several firearms and lots of ammo from them. I just like to let things settle in before giving my seal of approval.The staff at this shop are knowledgeable, patient, friendly ( Not Fake Friendly ), FRIENDLY, helpful and customer service is always consistent.I recently experienced an issue after my sons girlfriend purchased a used Sig P938 Equinox from this shop on my recommendation. Beautiful gun but we found out that the rear night site had one side of it out. Without hesitation a new one was procured fro Sig and within days we received a call for install at no charge and while we waited. Done perfectly and quickly.They have a young man Wyatt who mans the gunsmith bench a few days per week and he is fabulous. I’ve been in the firearms collection hobby for 30 years, know quite a bit about guns from my time and have brought a few stumpers to his attention for help. He listens, loves to learn new things about guns he himself was to young to experience and adds that knowledge to his experiences. He’s a good egg, a really respectful young man and the reason I won’t go any where else.Lastly, they have a great inventory and always know what to suggest based on my previous purchases, which is nice as they know what have and make it a point to be informed of my likes and dislikes.Thanks fellas for running a great store. I absolutely love this place! Jeremy and the rest of the staff are always helpful and friendly. These guys are super approachable and don’t come off as your typical gun snobs. When I came in my first time I had only shot a gun once and was super freaked out by them in general, but had a vague idea what I wanted to try. These guys talked me through the safest options, let me hold everything, and helped me get more comfortable with firearms in general. They were so amazing and kind and patient with me, and so knowledgeable with answers to all of my questions.A year later, and Ive purchased three pistols and a custom built rifle from this store. I also come in all the time for ammo and accessories. Basically, Eddie and Owen are the absolute best. Eddie even took the time to talk to me about laws relating to my concealed carry license, which I later got thanks to his motivation. These guys got me set up with an amazing custom paint job on my Shield as well, which I get compliments on every time I go to the range. Andrew also cheered me on. These guys will geek out about guns with you because they genuinely love what they do.JD is also the best gunsmith around, and helped me with new sights installed for my Glock faster than I thought was possible. He also built my new rifle for me with parts that Eddie helped me pick out (seriously, he talked to me for so long about the pros and cons of each piece, so Im confident I have the best rifle build possible). Rob also just helped me order custom parts as well, and I am super excited. My only regret is that I forgot to bring these guys donuts when I picked up my most recent purchase.

Paid to have a gas block aligned. My aero precision rifle is covered in scratches has Nicks and metal chunks missing from places this was 1650 invested nice rifle brand new.... Ruined for 35$ also has block is still not aligned and have to pay someone else to do it. I herd good things but the manager said he would take car of it because the gun Smith was out after 8 days he takes metal objects against my favorite rifle.

Amazing service!! It felt like I belonged. I am a younger shooter and usually get looked down on when I ask to look at the guns, but at the armories it was perfect! They helped me with everything I asked and even when I would ask about multiple different items to look at they gladly showed me around. I cannot express how amazing the customer service is!

Working on a rifle build. Rob was invaluable in steering me to a .300 blackout set up. Very easy to talk to and informative in planning. Andrew was stellar in helping me set up a trust. This shop is very good. Wife was with me and the staff talked to us like we were their personal friends. Other gun shops around, you have to be in the inner circle to even get a hello. The General Manager Rob Obrien greeted my wife and I entering the store, listened to our initial request, provided great feedback, walked us through several models and types before settling on what we believe was our best option fitting OUR needs.After the background check was completed and passed my wife and I went back and picked up the needed accessories and recieved additional guidance. The day of pickup with our ticket still open we picked up another piece for our home protection.Rob really took care of us and would recommend the Oviedo branch of The Armories here in Central Florida.

They actually talked me out of a sale because they knew Id be happier waiting for what I really wanted (which they didnt have in stock), instead of the same model from a different brand. I am always greeted upon entering. They listen to what your needs are and offer insight into what you are looking for. They are not pushy nor will they try to sell you something you do not want. They would prefer that you wait for the arrival of what interests you. And they answer your questions.

Best place I have ever bought a gun. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but most of all they treat you like a fellow gun owner instead of a path to more money. Since Im new to the area and wasnt sure what places had a good rep and which didnt. I did some reading and asking online from local people, and was told about The Armories in Oviedo. Im glad I was told about them, I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and was met with friendly faces and very chill sales people. When going in knowing exactly what I was looking for I was really expecting some type of up sell or someone to try and steer me towards something else that the sales person may have liked HIMSELF more, or maybe just something more expensive... Well, none of that happened here. They didnt have what I was looking for in stock, so they got on the computer and found it for me, no questions asked, no talking me out of it, or into anything else.. They called me as soon as the firearm came in, picked it up no problem and they even had Hot food on the sales floor for the customers! Which was very very cool since this was just days after hurricane Irma, and a lot of folks we not able to make them selves a hot meal at home. Went in to the Winter Garden store looking for some info on a pistol I was thinking on buying, note that I had been in about 10 other stores by this time and had heard it all. I ended up speaking with someone at the counter who took the time to answer all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and spent a fair amount of time with me as this would be my first pistol purchase. He did not try to push me into what he had on the shelf rather he spent time to find out my needs and based his recommendations on that. I ended up going to the Aloma store as that was closer to home and received the same quality service, in fact I bought 2 pistols, 1 for me and 1 for the wife. I waited to post my review until I had my first free cleaning done to see how good that service was. All I can say is the cleaning was great, turn over time was fast (ready in a few hours) and just wish a cleaning at the dentist was this painless. Overall I would rate the company and service I received and A+. Thank guys, will buy here again.

Best gun store in Orlando!!! Full of knowledge and everyone was so great. It was one of the guys first day and you should definitely keep him on he’s great!! I needed a couple of bolt-on parts added to my new shotgun so I called a few gunsmiths around town. I received some outrageous quotes before finally calling The Armories and being given the best price that I could find for the install. From the first gentleman that I spoke to on the phone, to the guy that handled my gun pickup today, the entire staff has been friendly, courteous, and professional. Ive been to other gunshops where I felt my business wasnt as important and just didnt get the feeling that I was welcome the way that I did here. I felt at ease while in the shop and was treated like my business mattered throughout both of my transactions in store. I will continue to pass other shops on my way to The Armories because of their awesome customer service!

Purchased my Daniel Defense rifle from the armories oviedo and i could not be happier with the process/purchase. It was a easy and straight forward process, Robert OBrien, the sales representative i dealt with was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Even with the holidays in the middle of my purchase, everything went as smooth as it could go and i was given great pricing and advice. The store in Oviedo is the best Armories for Customer service and knowledgeable representatives. Had bad experiences at the Winter Garden store. They passed me off from one sales person to another and one sales person was very uninterested in giving me information a even making any sales. My daughter went there to buy two guns and the same person treated her like he did want to help her, with a bad attitude. But the Oviedo store keep me going back to the Armories. Great people working there

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Excellent pricing on sale items. The attention to customers definitely will have me returning even if online prices are lower. Also, buy a gun from them and get lifetime cleaning and free installation for any accessories you buy from them. Definitely a tactical shop, not much of a selection for hunters that I saw but I wasnt really looking for sporting rifles..
