Best friendly service that seems to have most of what you need most of the time.

This place has a lot of items that you would normally not find in other stores but on this occasion they didnt have the special item I needed for my window. But the young lady was very helpful and had great customer service. She made you feel like she really wanted to help you and you werent just a number.

Quick and convenient place for general hardware needs. Great nuts and bolts and misc fastener aisle with many hard to find items.

Its amazing how this little place ALWAYS has what I need at a good price. Youll not find a better selection of screws and bolts and other hardware. Even really obscure specialty items. Always a knowledgeable person to help out as well.

We find what we need here. It is closer to home than the big box stores. We can buy the number of screws we need instead of a whole box that gets added to the pile of extra screws in the garage. The personnel are very helpful and know what they are talking about in the experiences weve had so far. My son is starting into woodwork and loves that he can walk in and get the help he needs as a novice. Short walk from parking into store. Convenient location in old downtown Oviedo.

Best place to get your propane tank refilled. But remember that tanks are rated 5o be used for 12 years only. Check your manufacture date stamp.

I shop ACE almost exclusively. Oviedo ACE is a spectacular store. If there is an ACE better stocked with everything than this one, I want to know where it is just to visit!

While walking through today I was able to find an enormous amount of household products. Along with finding all Gd 8 washers and more hardware to complete some work needed at home.

Ok Ace Hardware is usually my go to place for anything home repair or hardware related...I want to refinished a hutch, needs to be sanded and painted so I went to Home Depot for an electric hand sander, they had them, but no sand paper and of course no one around to help, ditto with Lowe’s, so I thought“ hey go to Ace, they have people there who will help me figure out just what I need”. So off the Ace in Oviedo, the helpful guy there showed me where to find the sander, pointed to where the sandpaper is kept, all good, right? So I get home a few hours later (had other shopping to do) and I finally open the box, this sander has already been used, missing a couple of components. I really wanted to shop locally, but this is just not right, maybe if it had been noted as a used product but it wasn’t, I paid full price for a used dirty sander with parts missing. I can get the same sander on Amazon cheaper and even with additional replacement sandpaper.... moral of this story, make sure Ace isn’t selling you used tools before you walk out the door.

Asked to have PVC cut into 3 pieces and was told they couldnt do it because it had to be by even 1 foot increments! I am buying the whole 10 foot stick who cares, I should be able to have it cut the way I need it! Wow...and this was from the asst manager ... only worth coming here when you need something quick

Great family own type store, had the nuts and bolts and screws I needed unlike the big stores. I even started to buy my propane there easy and fast, plus I get my bottle back not some other piece of junk.

Nice to have nearby, but service stinks. Not the helpful hardware folks at all. No smiles ever and it seems inconvenient to them if you come in. I tried to get a need for hurricane prep, walked up at 6:59pm and the guy locks the door in front of me and just taps the door. Then he lets someone else in after I got out to my truck. Not helpful at all.

When I walked into the store with 2 light bulbs, in my hand looking like a deer in headlights, the store associate immediately asked to help. He looked over the items I brought with me compared them to the best fit for lights with a fan(Cuz not just any light bulb goes with a ceiling fan) who knew? Well, obviously the sales associate does. At Ace Hardware they always go the extra mile to help you whatever project you may have on mind. Besides I always take the grandkids with me as the famous Oviedo chickens like to hang around Ace. Of course this is a treat watching those chickens.

Woman that works there is extremely rude! Asked for a propane tank refill and she told me they couldn’t do it. I had to ask why and she gave me some story about having to reset the the system because of thunder. She then told me the store was closed. If it weren’t for the propane I wouldn’t go there. The store has limited inventory and is not well kept at all.

These guys seem to be losing it. Cashier lady crackles and laughs at everything and anything anyone says. You could tell her aliens are landing in Oviedo and taking people, and she would cackle and laugh, not knowing what shes really laughing about. And the people servicing customers seem to be indifferent to them, plus they dont really pay attention to what we want. You have to get a crowbar to go pry someone off a chair or BS session, and even then they seem like they dont want to help. They dont listen well, either.

I went to this ace hardware today and bought three dozen of there minnows for fishing in a matter of only a few hours later (3) and with two full water changes almost all were dead guess i am not going fishing tonight like i had planned! I would not recommend buying any bait from this location!

The reps at this Hardware store do not want to help correctly.. I asked if anyone knows if they carry a wire a brush that can enter were a shower cartridge and they did not know.. I had to look around by myself to see if they carried a long wire brush..
