My family and I have had great luck finding most everything we need when shopping for specific items. We love the quality of the brands they carry and the selection. As with most families with kids, they grow fast so we can run in and grab some inexpensive clothes for our 2 growing children. BUT…. Tonight and 3 other times we made clothing purchases we have paid, left and got home with multiple security tags. We live about 40 minutes away. Luckily there is a store in our town that uses the same tags so with a receipt to prove the item is actually ours they will kindly remove it for us. Maybe the associates should get a little extra training on how to fold and bag items so maybe this will happen less, our items were rolled/wadded and shoved in the bag.

Good clean store. Usually stocked and zoned, unless some seasonal sale wiped them out. Staff have ways been friendly when Ive been in there.

Stopped by here looking for Turf Cleats. They had more than a few on clearance, just not the size I needed. The store was clean and I was happy to hear Hello Welcome to Academy from a cashier that appeared to be happy I walked in .

Its an Academy. It has Academy stuff. Its a clean store. Staff helpful when Ive asked for help. Dont know what else to critique. Sometimes doesnt have exactly what I want but how does one store stock every little tiny thing? I cant fault them for that. If you need academy stuff good store for said stuff.

The management Matt was a great help and also very kind. Need more management like him..

Went here to purchase my pool for the season 2021.. Steve is wonderful in the pool dept.. amazing. You dont find knowledge like that these days. Never got the run around from anyone. Great store and fabulous staff. The guy thst helped me get the pool to register was wonderful too. I think his name was Derek. Thanks guys

From what Ive experienced the owasso academy has the best customer service Ive dealt with among academy stores

The Manager was wonderful! He opened the doors, took us to what were looking for, gave us great recommendations! Will definitely go back to this store!!

I ordered online went to the store and picked it up. I had to wait a little bit but when I call the store to let them know I was Outdoors, they brought my items to me right away and apologized. The lady that helped me was really nice. Ive always enjoyed going in there to shop.

Went there to get shoes for my husband and the young man in the shoe department was amazing he was very helpful very kind very polite and found the right shoes for my husband he was very pleased

Store was cluttered and the guy I asked for help pointed me towards the shoes and walked off, I was able to find what I needed on my own, 2 pair of shoes...but I probably wont be back..too corporate and cold. And you now have the same cookie cutter merchandise as everyone else..your store in Fort Collins is better

Great store had just what i wanted when i went change my mind and purchased something else, the young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was looking for a New Chair for my race trailer. Went in found what I was wanting, sat on it and tried a couple other chairs... Went back to what I went in for and purchased it.( XL Rocker, it was more comfortable sitting in it than the others).

Fantastic store - this location really blows the other Academys out of the water. Their fishing section is literally 2X the size, well stocked, huge selection. Great store, very clean, nice employees.

Outstanding customer service at the owasso location! We were helped by a young man who’s name I do not remember and we were also helped by a manager, his name is RJ. Furthermore we were also helped by phone by very patient employees the next day locating an item.We are extremely satisfied customers.

Store is always clean but wasnt able to get any help picking my husbands fishing pole. Me and the employee were both clueless as to which was best or most recommended.

Went in to shop for fish locators and after 3 sales people ignored us while we were at the counter finally got someone to actually talk to is just to have him.say he really didnt know anything about the products as he had only used one once .... we needed answers to some questions about switching them.out and compatibility.... just left with no purchase

Nice selection of merchandise. Employees were friendly. Biggest downside is that the store is not enforcing mask rules for employees or customers as of March 26th 2021.

Love Academy 😍😁👍 The Employees are always so nice and helpful. They have a great selection of stuff. We probably spend way too much money there all year long lol. Hubby and I are avid fisherman and their selection is wonderful... No need to go anywhere else for fishing, camping, shoes and sportswear stuff 😁👍😍 We definitely recommend to others. And its great that its only 2 miles from home and on the way to the pond where we fish 🐟 🎣

Stopped in to mainly look at tents and grills today. Great selection, we just didnt find what we was looking for. There was a very long line when we first reached the check out, but they quickly opened multiple more lanes to get it taken care of.

I prefer this store over bass pro shops.

The food was terrible, the employees wouldnt ask me for my order and they kicked me out when I started to eat the food. Im going to mcdonalds next time.

Ordered a trampoline online for Christmas. The guys had the trampoline waiting outside before I even got to the truck. Service was great and fast. The guys had it loaded before I could even get out of the truck. The inside was very clean and they had plenty of special for Christmas.

Academy has a great selection and is usually my go to place but other than the sporting goods section, its hard to find a person to help with any questions.

Love there deals and steals, my husband uses his metal detector daily and it was an awesome price.

Great Location! Always has more in stock than other stores. Wonderful Customer Service here, normally multiple people will ask you if you need anything while visiting. Great prices! Much better other sports stores. You can also purchase and ship to home from in-store. Great selections from clothes, shoes, to fishing and hunting great. Best prices on ammo too!Large parking lot, easy entrance/exit, handicap accessible, large isles and helpful staff.

This is my favorite sporting good store. They have everything from fishing to guns to sports bras to dog beds to trampolines and everything in between. Employees are helpful and will even search other stores for an item. Prices are good and even better when they have sales. Its in a great location too. Id definitely recommend it.

Always has what we are looking for and great employees with welcoming attitude even with wearing face mask can still tell the employees are happy to help.

Food was absolutely awful and Im not even picky! Baked beans werent done and crunchy, mac and cheese was also not done. For our toast they gave us half toasted butt bread. And the sides were the best part! The pulled pork had absolutely zero flavor even smothered in bbq sauce. Hot link wasnt thoroughly cooked either. Silverware didnt appear clean so we had to get new silverware. Oklahoma Joes better stick to selling smokers!

First time there. Clean and friendly staff.

Friendly cashier. Was very helpful when an item was mispriced. Manager took care of issue and was very friendly as well.

I gave a 3 star because of the staff. They arent the nicest people and most arent familiar with what they even sell.

They were set up for social distancing which wasnt a problem. There was a lot of .22 ammunition from CB Shorts on up, but handgun ammo was almost non-existent. And it looked like their long guns were almost gone. Cant wait for things to get back to normal.
