Love this place. Kim the cook/waitress is perfect! Cannot beat the price, folks are friendly and service fast and pleasant. Want to take this place with me when I leave.

Fantastic little ma & pa diner. My meal was very inexpensive, made fresh to order, and it was absolutely delicious. The hand battered chicken strips were too legit to quit. This will be one of my frequent breakfast spots from here on out.

First thing is the service is subpar. The staff was friendly but I felt as if there wasnt enough attention given to all the customers. I had to get somebodys attention to come take my order after sitting for almost 10 minutes. I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was okay. You could definitely tell that it was not a frozen Burger however there really wasnt much seasoning so it was kind of bland. Im not sure if maybe this place is known for other menu items. I would like to think that I would try it again, but I dont have high hopes. With all that said the prices are excellent. I will say the biggest issues that I had was one of the workers shrieking multiple times which made for an uncomfortable and slightly annoying experience. I would recommend giving this place a try to decide for yourself, I could have just come on an off-day.

Excellent food!! Had the ham and cheese omelette and it was delicious!! And of course I absolutely loved the grits. We will definitely eat here more often. Can’t wait to try their lunch.

Their food is always hot and taste great. The servers are always very attentive. We go every Saturday morning and go out of their way to make sure all of us, 8-10 people, get a table together. The owner and staff always talk and carry on with us like family.We have nothing negative to say them.

13 of Our congregation went to lunch here. We were an unexpected crowd with a variety of food and drink preferences. Our waitress and the cook took care of us and their regulars with kindness and patience. Several of us ordered the breakfast burger, we all received exactly what we ordered (each of us with a different type of fried egg). The potatoes were crispy. The French fries had seasoned salt, for some of us it wasnt to our liking but some loved it. They were out of the regular chicken sandwich so the Chef took a chicken breast and created a wonderful fried chicken sandwich. One person purchase the strawberry cake and loved it. I loved the burger, it tasted just like home. Well be back!

The food was good, and the place has zero pretense. It knows its a greasy spoon diner, and it does diner food with aplomb. The young lady running the flat-top gave us perfectly cooked food, the eggs were actually over medium.
Went for lunch for the first time. I was a bit disappointed with my fish dinner. Looked and tasted like processed filets. The staff however were super friendly and attentive.

The Dugout is a small, local diner with a small menu, but they do it well. I got the club sandwich and it was incredible and the waitress was really nice.They serve their breakfast and lunch menu the entire time they are open, so burgers are an option for breakfast, which is always welcome!
